      We were with Viasat, when they were Exede and before that they were WildBlue. Probably close to twenty years of dedicated service to them. They were good and very seldom had issues but we found something better, Starlink!!We left Viasat up on vacation mode to make sure we were satisfied with changing servers before disconnecting. Last September we decided to disconnect. I called Viasat and they told me we needed to return some of the equipment and they would send me a box to do so. No problem, we can do that. We left town and came back and I see on our account that the box they sent was not able to be delivered, so I call to have a box sent again. Unfortunately I forgot about the whole situation. cause life happens and no box came to remind me, lol. Then December comes around and I get an email stating that funds will be taken out of our account for our bill with Viasat. What?! We have been disconnected for over two months. I looked at our account and sure as s*** they are going to take out $316.50 for not returning the equipment. But we never got a box?! I have literally called every week over the past two months trying to get a resolution and we are getting a run around. Never speak to the same person twice, can't speak very good English, and supposedly our issue has been sent to escalation the last four times I called. Alot of good that is doing, whatever that means. NO refund, NO box. One of the worst customer experiences in my life and we are still out the $316.50. NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND VIASAT.

      The person installing my internet told me I would have unlimited data and I would be able to cancel anytime but when I began to have issues with the internet and called the company is when I found out that my internet was working on a monthly ****************************************** a week even though I didnt even use internet that week then when I tried to cancel is when they said I would have to pay a cancellation fee that I wasnt told about in the first place then the company tried to upsell me another plan

      I was charged $95.00 for a work order filed but never completed in November 2023. It took me till Feb. 5 **** to finally received a credit of the $95.00. During all this time, numerous phone calls and each time a different representative. Someone had stamped the order as being completed and a rep did NOT come to property. A complete lie! No one came to property! Finally received a credit but today when I received my normal bill , Viasat had charged me another $95.00! Another phone call to company and was told that another refund would be credited back to my account in 5 to 7 business days. Why the charge? You guess is as could as mine! So hoping that StarLink will be my savior!*****************************

      DONT DO IT. This is my third review on a site in hopes I can save someone some grief and keep some money out of this ridiculous excuse for a company. The only reason they are still in business is rural people like me who had no other option at the time. It is simply unaffordable for what you are being provided. If it rains, you're screwed. Busy volume, buffering. Cancelled and my equipment is due 2/19 and I just had to make my second phone call to have call recording verifying THEY HAVE NOT EVEN SHIPPPED THE **** Guess they're just waiting to try and take a couple hundred dollars again. PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Your mobile hotspot will be cheaper and better. Starlink has been seamless since getting it, EVEN IN STORMS. Homefi is decent. I hope enough customers leave reviews so possible future ones avoid this mishap.

      I made a purchase Oct.17 2023 of 50$ for installation for viasat internet.....the man came out but couldn't connect the service so I was due a refund they sent me a email January 18 about a refund I called them on the 21st of January they told me **** business days I haven't received anything. What do I have to do to get my money?

      This is the worst company to ever exist as an internet provider. I'm in a situation where this company doesn't have any competitors so their prices are set and their service is very poor. I spend $450 minimum using their incident service on a monthly basis. When the service goes out here for whatever reason I'm held accountable. For example their satellite malfunction for whatever reason I've only had it for a month and a half and I was without service. I called customer service who was rude, abrupt, irrational, they told me this is what it is, I should be lucky that they're even out there for service because it's a rural area. I'm frustrated with this company. I hate the fact that I have no choice but to pay them for the internet service that they provide in my area. Promise you if I had any other option other than viasat I would use it because of the poor customer service and the disrespect after paying so much money on a monthly basis.

      I would have given it no stars. Terrible customer service. Ever since the migration I have not had service for almost 2 months and requested to get someone out to service it. Well of course not able to accommodate my request. I asked to speak to a manager, and they told me it would take 3-5 business days to speak to a manager. Highly recommend not getting service with this company as they don't care. Very rude employees.

      This company charged me for not returning the equipment that was sent back to them! I never received any notification that it was not received. However, A YEAR LATER I get a call from collections! This company is despicable and dishonest. They are not held accountable for their actions. I had the service for 1 month the Internet never worked and then they charge me $300 for services. They **** out the process of the 30 day trial. They sent a technician out who basically stated that the Internet would never work here. Then charge me for that. When you dont have time to call back literally a week after the deadline they wanted to charge me full price for a service that could not be used. Then to said I didn't return the equipment. I have wasted so much time dealing with the company.

      I recommend that all who have problems with Viasat and their business practices. Complain to their state attorney, general office, department of consumer affairs. After I initiated their service, they insist that I have a two-year contract, even though my notes indicate that there was no contract. Viasat has no proof that a contract was ever agreed to orally or in writing. They need to produce the conversation that I had with their representative, when I initiated their service showing that I agreed to a two-year contract. I am positive. They are unable to do this. Until everybody out there complains to their attorney general, the department of consumer affairs, via will continue their scam and the way that they treat customers . I plan to file my complaint with the **** attorney generals office next week.

      Worst company ever. Bordering on criminal. Horrible spotty service I am paying over $250/month for.Trying to cancel service with them and told I have to wait for over a month. They will not take the satellite dish off *******. I am an older woman and don't feel comfortable getting on ******* so they are going to charge me $300 to get their junk. So I will pay a handyman to do this for me.I've had service for 22 months and to disconnect I ALSO have to pay $45 early termination?!? Fine print!Had them come out and trouble shoot before and the service tech asks to borrow my ladder. Which he did and left it lying in the grass. I watched him drive away and surprise surprise there was a ladder on top of his fan.
