      I've been using experian for many years and never had any complaints until now. They made their login very predatory so that you can accidentally sign up for their free trial without realizing it. Went to cancel only to find out ive already been charged for the next month. I canceled it immediately but customer ********************** won't give a refund for the next month even though I haven't used it. Very shady business practices and customer ********************** is horrible. I'm done using experian now and will go somewhere else. Definitely done recommending them to anyone now.

The membership was not cancelled; consequently, in accordance with the published terms of our offer, the credit card provided was charged our monthly membership fee on July 11, 2025. Per your request, your paid benefits will cease, effective August 11, 2025. You will continue to have access to your Experian(R) credit report and FICO(R) Score once every 30 days, at no charge to you. Our website describes the offer, and the order form details the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing at the end of the trial and monthly thereafter unless and until the customer notifies us of their wish to discontinue. The consumer agrees to these terms when submitting their order. We have, as a courtesy, issued a refund totaling $24.99 on July 14, 2025. Please, allow 3 - 5 business days for these funds to process to the credit card ********** this time, we would like to express our regret that your experience with Experian CreditWorksSM may not have met your expectation or our standard of excellence.       ****************. almost impossible to reach a live person without learning tricks to confuse the computer from other frustrated consumers. Should not be in business! Had no problems removing a credit freeze and fraud alert from other two credit bureaus.

      Horrible predatory practices. I'm constantly bombarded with new credit cards and loans to apply for. The boost is joke and doesn't properly apply utility payments. I put in a dispute and within a day responded that it was a legitimate collection. Further my Experian is 80 points lower all my other scores. While I understand they use a different scoring method, there's zero reason for an 80 point difference. Everyone goes through hard times and this disparity makes it harder to recover and rebuild your life. A 5 year old (pandemic) bankruptcy and an almost 2 year old missed payment due to a layoff should not cause an 80 point difference which destroys someone credit to the point they can't get a decent intrest rate or qualify for certain loans because lenders go by the lowest score. People are not criminals simply because they get get laid off or have another life event that causes a bankruptcy or missed payment.

      I have had the unfortunate experience of having someone else's phone number and email attached to my account and I have been trying to get ahold of someone at experian for a couple of days. I call and give my information (which they say is correct through their robo-call system) and then when I try to log into my account, it tries to send the security code to a completely different phone and email that have never been attached to my social security or account. I can't get through to anyone on the phone, and there is no way to submit an IT ticket on their website. For a company that has a huge influence over important experiences in your life like buying a car, getting a credit card, and buying a house, they are such a scam. If you are trusted to be a company that is deemed important in our society, you should be providing customer **********************. Transunion and Equifax are super easy and helpful to use. It's only Experian. What a frustrating and disappointing company.

      Experian membership is a scam so that Experian can steal from consumers who are just trying to monitor their finances. The membership can only be canceled by a live phone agent. Their hours are extremely limited, so if you work a normal day job, you will have to take a day off to get through. Even if you can call when they are open, the ** will make it nearly impossible to get to a live agent. Meanwhile, months of them STEALING from their customers go by and there is nothing the customers can do. If you finally reach an agent, they will hard sell and delay canceling. Protect yourself. Do NOT use Experian's trial.

      YOU CAN'T EVER TALK TO ANYONE. My name change was messed up when I got married and I couldn't get approved for my house loan because of this. No website options cover this and it needed to be handled immediately. Customer ********************** will never give you an agent. No matter what you say it routes you through an automated service and hangs up on you telling you to check the website. This should NOT he allowed for a credit bureau that MOST LOANS go through and the public DOES NOT have a choice about.

      Ive been trying to get a live person on the phone for two hours and it refuses to transfer me, the automated system. It can only transfer under certain reasons. Im trying to cancel a membership. This has been the most frustrating experience of my entire life and I am 52 years old. Stay away from these moneygrubbing a******* cause youre just buying them another beach house.

      I was charged ***** this morning and have spent 30 minutes trying to get a human being on the phone but the ** automated line keeps me going in circles. I have a free account so why when I liged into that account after about a year now I get charged. By this business own automotive line they dont have my card information? Well my bank account tells me different. How difficult it is to speak to a human and the run arounds when it comes to peoples money is SHADY business and I believe this company is unprofessional with integrity but dedicated to SHADY unethical business practices. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The BBB and American federal Government needs to BANNED THIS BUSINESS. If you can not keep your own files correct and you rip people off why would I trust you will such vital information.
