I can't believe apple is dealing with such a insurance company ****** I am now 13 days without a phone and have had such a horrible experience with trying to get a replacement phone. First the applcare rep put the claim in wrong, after going into the apple store and them having to call applecare for me. Then after they were finally able to take my $149 deductible on 9/14/22, I am still without a tracking number which was supposed to only take 3-5 business days. I am so frustrated. All they keep saying is they sent an email for escalation, but never emails any updates. This whole experience has made me second guess having applecare to begin with. This just seems like a whole scam.

*** and *** are simply amazing, they came to my rescue when no one could help me replace my phone. When nothing more could be done I was offered a replacement directly through Apple as opposed to *** (their insurance partner) because *** in this case was useless. All of Apple's products work seamlessly together, I always am so impressed with how far Apple pushes innovation in technology, and more importantly how they treat their customers. I am never going to be anything but an advocate for Apple, tech can never be perfect but they have and always will strive(d) for absolute greatness. I have no shame giving them all of my money, haha. After experiencing immense stress about not being able to get back my **** dollar phone that I filed a claim for the day after I lost it, I couldn't have asked for a better relief than when *** called me to tell me she was here to help. *** stayed on the phone with me for 3 hours believe it or not, just to try and help me out. I could not be more grateful to Pat and *** for being here for me, and Apple as a company that seeks to hire amazing individuals, and truly cares about their customers' experience.

I contacted Apple in an effort to resolve an issue with the personal email I own which was attached to an account that was closed last year, as part of a consolidation of Apple-accounts, the current primary account in this case using a work email. When I was unable to reuse my personal email, I reached out to their support team for assistance. My interaction with their customer support staff was cordial, but they indicated they could not unblock that email and directed me to their Privacy and Security team for further assistance. It took an entire month to hear back from that team, and the response was an outright refusal to assist in resolving the problem despite my clear explanation that I would lose the ability to retain control once the current email attached expired. This demonstrates clear apathy and negligence on the part of their staff, especially given that they stated at one point: "We also use this hashed form in deciding whether to decline the re-use of an email address." "As a policy, Apple reserves the right not to allow reuse of email addresses as a security measure to prevent identity theft." Meaning they have the ability to remove the block, but have simply refused to make an effort, despite multiple attempts on my part to demonstrate ownership to them of the email and refute the claim of identity theft. All of which were instigated by me with no effort to request or examine that information made by them. Additionally, when pressed for information on who might be able to assist with resolving the issue, if not them, they simply directed me back to Customer Support, the very group I'd just come from, before ignoring all further attempts to seek help. A company's support team is a reflection of how they view the customer. And if the support team demonstrates clear the incompetence, apathy, and disregard that this one has, they clearly do not care about the people who have chosen to invest in them. Note: I'd leave 0-stars if I could.

I sat on my 8 month old Ipad by accident, cracked the screen. Called 1-800-MY-APPLE. Told by customer service "Not under warrantee". You have three choices: 1. Bring your device to an Apple Store (50miles away). They can repair it while you wait, estimate $49. to $149. 2. Ship it to us, we will repair or replace for $49. to $349. 3. Go to a Best Buy (authorized Apple repair) they will repair while you wait. Estimate $49. to $149. Nearest Best Buy 20 miles away. After getting case #s and confirmation #s and giving order#s, serial #s and my life's history, I decided to call Best Buy Geek Squad to confirm my appointment. I also checked the estimated cost to repair ($49. - $149.) and time to repair. I arrived at the 44A Albany Trnpk location on time and was told "We don't repair screens here, we send them to Apple and they replace your device at your cost". I explained that was NOT what I was told by Apple or by Best Buy. He said "they gave you the wrong information". After wasting my time, gas and patients, I went to Mr. Lee, of J&J Electronics 33 Water St. Torrington. He assessed the problem & said it would be fixed in one hour. Ipad back in service, 5-STARS for Mr. LeeZERO-STARS for Apple customer service & Best Buy customer service.

Really love Mac products however at this point I will be purchasing from other brands. Products this expensive should last. I have a Mac book Pro with Retina display. The anti-reflective coating is wearing off or delaminating on Retina displays. Mac was replacing screens because they knew it was an issue that a lot of people were experiencing however they were doing it quietly. I never received notice about this issue from Mac and I never knew it was a thing because I was not using my Mac book a lot. When I called apple they said they would not replace it because it is beyond there mark of when they would replace the screens. But how is a consumer suppose to know if Apple is doing things quietly. I would have taken my Mac book right away instead of waiting for an issue to come up later. It should still be covered since my computer is one of the affected ones that they were repairing. I think its terrible as a consumer that you are not notified about an issue for a product that you paid a lot of money for.

If I could give apple and their United States Support Team a 0-Star Rating I would. If not addressed, I may take my denied claims to counsel. My situation in which they have neglected to address involves over $9,000.00 + of In-App Purchases. Tier 2 Supervisor's out the Texas, US state were so vague in their decision to not appeal my claim. They could not even give me the department, location, names as to whom makes these decisions regarding claims and refunds. Not to mention, WHY! The supervisor could not even tell me why on her reports, as to which the decision the deny my claims for refunds! UNBELIEVABLE. I have been an Apple supporter since the 1st Generation Apple phone was produced for consumer purchasing. I have never left this company, but now will definitely reconsider, and leave apple permanently. This type of business model processing and policy is inexcusable, and not up to consumer standards. I will be seeking legal counsel for restitution of these denied claims without appeal.

I had an appointment at 6:45pm for static noise on my AirPod Pro . Got checked in at 6:43pm and left store without anybody looking in to my airpod!!!. .At 7:35pm (after 50 mins waiting ) I checked with store manager named "Philip " who looks like completely confused and not sure what was going on , told me there are still 3 people ahead of me .... I decided to leave the store and will likely donate my airpod to goodwill! Haven't been in Apple store over Genius Bar for a really long time but never expected such a customer service from a store which is couple miles away from Apple Park !!!

Apple iTunes deleted music that I paid for and when I tried to get a refund or credit, they passed ** from one department to another with no results.
I imagine they rip people off every day to the tune of millions of dollars with no repercussions because they are so huge.
