I enrolled in the pharmacy technician program at this school for the July 22, 2023 class. I went there on July 22nd, and the school was closed. I called them on July 24th to ask why the school was closeddid they move or something? They told me there was no class scheduled for July 22nd. They said the class will start on August 5, 2023. The enrollment agreement form that they have sent me clearly states that I was enrolled for July 22nd class. They said it was just a glitch on their end. Then, I decided to drop out. I submitted an intent-to-cancel letter on July 26, 2023. I was informed that the drop date was July 24, 2023, or 10 business days before the class started." I would still have to pay the tuition even if I dropped out of the class, which I understood as it was written on the enrollment agreement form. So, I decided to just take the class because I didn't want $1100 to just go down the drain. On August 5, 2023, I went to the school, and it was closed again. I tried to call and email them, but no one was answering. I called them on August 7, 2023, to ask what was going on. I was told that the class was moved to September 9, 2023, and even if the class started on August 5, 2023, they would not let me in because I had already dropped out of the class. I told them I shouldve been informed that they had accepted my drop request. They said that they are not required to notify me. I was informed that I still need to pay the $1100 tuition fee. The enrollment agreement states that I must drop out of the class within at least 10 business days. If they moved the class start date to September 9, 2023, and I submitted the intent to cancel letter on July 26, 2023, isn't that more than 10 business days? The school sent me a letter saying that I have to pay on or before April 12, 2024, or they will send it to collection. I will appreciate any help that your good office can provide. Thank you so much!
