      We hired Semper Solaris to install solar panels and battery system. We signed the paperwork to purchase & install our system in June of 2023 Along the way the I was diligent about checking in every couple of weeks to see what was happening and why it was taking so long. I called, sent emails, left voice messages to no avail. No one seemed to have a clue as to what the hold up was. Finally, in January of 24, we were scheduled for installation. It took 7 months! The shingles were removed to install the panels, which was expected. There was no mention of any problems or concerns by the installers. They told us that the installation went well and we should be ready to activate as soon as we could get IID & the ************* out to inspect their work. Then we had ANOTHER delay. When they came out to inspect, the city building inspector said that the plans for the permit were wrong and did not match what the contractors installed. This caused over a month's delay. Again, many phone calls and emails. This time *************** got involved, but only seemed to care when I told them my first payment was coming up and that I didn't feel it was reasonable to expect me to make a payment when they hadn't even gotten the system turned on and producing energy. They reluctantly agreed they'd make the first payment if that date came before we had permission to activate. Magically, things started moving along. However, We did not receive authorization to activate our system until February; within a week of the first payment being due. March 2023, my husband discovered the problem because he thought that birds may be nesting on the roof, so he got the ladder out to take a look. What he found was an incomplete job, and an exposed roof. It is now the 2nd week of April, and we have not received any callback from Semper. They just keep putting us of and saying that someone will call back. I am asking for assistance with the repair done. I just want it fixed

      I had a solar system installed 3 years ago. The inverter went bad 11 weeks ago so there is no power being sent to SCE as the system should. Semper Solaris does not return my calls to help resolve the issue after multiple requests for a manager to call me. The manufacturer of the inverter sent a replacement which was also bad. I’ve received the replacement to the replacement which sits at my house I just want the inverter to be installed. No one seems to help. Just finger pointing. Please help me

       This inverter replacement is being handled by the manufacturer directly as is their policy.  The manufacturer shipped the new inverter directly to the homeowner and will schedule replacement with the homeowner. directly.  We will ping the manufacturer to see if they can expedite their techs.

      solar edge indicated that they re not responsible for reimbursing me for my 3 months of Edison bills.   System has been down for this long. 
      they told me to contact Semper Solaris as they are the installers and company who I purchased the faulty system from.   I’ve left more than 12 messages for Semper Solaris through text. E mail and calling in the phone.  Never a response.     This is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and first complaint to BBB. I’ve paid for a system that has been useless other than the promises originally made by Semper.

      the inverter was replaced already. The first time they attempted replacement the inverter that was sent to my house was also defective.   11 weeks without service.  I would like to be reimbursed for the SCE charges I have incurred 

      solar edge said that Semper Solaris is responsible for reimbursement as they sent me a copy of their warranty language.     Semper Solaris told me to call solar edge.   So ?   This is unfair to me as I have a warranty.   But 11 weeks is ridiculous to be without service.

      My solar system has been down and is under warranty, They now want to charge me a $500 service fee to come and and fix and issue with the communication of solar panel which is covered under warranty Per Sunpower solar system. I want my system fixed under warranty at no cost to me.

      Hello,My name is ************************* and I am sending you a message on behalf of my father and mother, ***** and ******************. They are primarily Spanish speaking.My parents were interested in solar panels in order to reduce our electricity bill, so after getting quotes from various companies, they decided to go with Semper Solaris. Unfortunately, this company installed our solar panels in November of 2023 and it is now April 2024, and the solar panels are not working. They produce no electricity and we've contacted Semper Solaris over all these months with no positive outcome. For months they have sent various techs to come to our house to fix whatever issue they say the solar panels have, and after all of these months, the solar panels are still not on and working. Meanwhile, my parents have been paying the loan monthly, as well as TECO. This costs my family about $700 per month. The intention was to help our financial situation, but unfortunately, the complete opposite outcome has occurred.We are at a loss as to what to do which is why I decided to send a message here and see if there is any help or insight that you can provide. I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you,*************************

      I paid over $50k for a new roof and Solar about 3 years ago. As of this year with all the rain I have roughly 5 leaks in the new roof with one of them causing my roof to sink in near the chimney. I have contacted Semper Solaris numerous time over the past 4 weeks, at first the response was good but now they refuse to respond to emails and when I call they make me create a new case each time which starts the process over. This experience is nothing short of unprofessional and unacceptable for a business claiming to help veterans. The last communication from a service rep stated that a service crew would contact me to schedule repairs, that call never came and this was 2 weeks ago. I do not recommend this company at all, not only is my experience horrible after the install it was also difficult during the install considering they took 4 months to begin work. Buyer beware, they do not honor their 30 year warranty on roofs and I doubt they would in the solar panels. Hopefully they will honor what they SAY their company represents but for some reason I doubt it.

      I purchased a solar array from semper solaris and they have continually installed faulty inverters. Due to this I have had a product that fails to operate as advertised. On every attempt at contacting the company I am out on hold for several hours, transferred between multiple departments and almost always end up back at an answering service who states they cannot contact the company directly. This has happened multiple times and their technicians have told me the inverters they install are known to break which is why they have the warranty they have. This was not stated to us when we bought the product. We paid *****k for the system and they have cost us few thousand dollars in electricity production because of the faulty equipment. I would like my equipment repaired with an inverter that is not known to have Problems and compensation for the loss of production while the equipment was inoperable.

      Its been a over 12 months since the solar installation began . The solar panels have been installed and are producing. the roof is supposed to be finished with a picture frame around the solar panels the work done to reinstall the **** ****s has been very poor quality with gapes in the **** **** , ****s are not lined up ,the reinstallation of the **** ****s are sloppy and unprofessional there is cement splatters and broken **** ****s , my gutters were also damaged due to the roofers not protecting them when going on the roof The whole job has been messy .. I have been in contact with ***** who is the roofing superintendent and he gives me a date to repair and finish the job then will cancel.

      In April 22nd of 2023 we signed the papers to purchase solar panels from them and have them installed, and put the deposit down. They said that it would be within about 6 weeks and that the installation would take a couple days. They also promised an HVAC inspection and maintenance that never happened. We heard nothing from them until July of 2023 when they called to set up an installation date. The dates they offered were near a pre-scheduled trip of ours, but they assured us that it would only take 2 days, we wouldnt have to be home, and that they would start early and end late to make sure that it was finished within the two days. July 25th they showed up late, we had to call to even locate the team and they didnt start until after 10am. Their electrician hit our mailbox with his truck and they still havent paid us for that. They left early because it was too hot for them to work. That was when we started losing power on and off to half of our house, during a heat wave in southern ********** that kept knocking out our air conditioning. When we checked the electrical panel we discovered that one of the metal teeth of the bus bar was damaged when they switched out the main breaker. Instead of fixing it or replacing it, they improvised a brace using small pieces of wood, that would surely have caught fire if we had left it like that. Because of all the problems surrounding this and working with them, my husband had to cancel his trip last minute. For three days we went without air conditioning or power until they replaced the bus par after we called them repetitively to complain and showed them the pictures of their shoddy work. The pictures actually even came from their own electrician who had done the shoddy work! We had to go up on the roof to clean out our gutters and we discovered that theyd left trash, heavy trash, all over the roof. If it had blown off the roof it would have cracked a windshield or caused a head injury.After that we heard NOTHING. We called and called trying to get them to set up the inspection with building and safety but they literally ghosted us. It wasnt until September 11 that we were got the first inspection, which they failed. Their installation didnt match their schematics that they submitted and they needed to move a panel because they hadnt left room for an emergency exit. They didnt come back until December 7th to do the work, but all they did was move the panel. So they failed the next inspection on January 31st too because they still werent consistent with their own designs that theyd submitted to building and safety! So the THIRD inspection, on February of 2024 we finally passed. The solar panels generated for about 2 weeks, then completely stopped. As of today March 6th, we still have not been generating for the last 2 weeks because the system says that all of our microinverters are not responding. When I call their customer service they say theyll get back me in ***** business days, but I know from working with them that you can always expect to double any amount of time that they give you. Also when I try to explain the problem, it is quite apparent that the customer service representative doesnt know a microinverter from a microwave. It has been almost a YEAR now and all I have are $63,000 roof ornaments. During this whole process all we have gotten from Semper Solaris is excuses, finger pointing, and outright neglect. We have now worked with 2 project managers and an customer service lead. They assure us that the 1st project manager no longer works there, but no one is willing to take responsibility for the problems, and I personally dont care who created the problems because no one is bothering to solve them. Every time we call we are told There is a higher than normal wait time, but if this has been going on for a year, then it is the normal wait time and they just dont care about their customers. Of course, there is no direct line to anyone, and no ability to directly call anyone, so we are stuck talking to customer service and leaving messages that go unreturned.

      Yes, I have heard from the company. They were able to get our solar panels turned on and hooked to the grid. They offered to pay for the mailbox they broke and the credit amount that we would have received if Semper Solaris had passed their first inspection, but they would only do this if I agreed to take down my internet reviews and sign a non dispargement agreement. I declined. Then they said they would take out the non-disparagement clause and give us what they owe us if we agree to never file another complaint against them with the BBB in the future. I declined again because I may need to use their warranty services and given my past experiences with this business I can't guarantee that they will improve their customer service in the future. I do not want to give up my right to file a complaint with the BBB in the future if they were to mess up something again.

      Semper Solaris installed power walls at my house. One has been malfunctioning constantly and Semper refuses to respond to my emails to repair the unit in question.

      I need them to actually call me so we can get this fixed under warranty.

      Tesla is working on it as well.

      Thank You for reaching out about this.  This is a duplicate complaint.  There are no issues with his battery system. All 4 batteries are working and he's using them every day (light blue line in graph below & right-side y-axis are battery percentage). There are no open cases with Tesla and Tesla never opened a case for his call, let alone started an RMA) and his site isn't flagging any errors indicating a battery needs to be replaced or that there are any issues for that matter. There is no issue here.

      No, this is not duplicate, and instead of ignoring my communications and emails and disregarding this in entirety, how about a phone call in attempts to solve your customer’s concern?

       

      I’ve sent videos and evidence of the issue and your tech support team has gone silent. I spoke to Tesla and they have verified there is an issue with the coolant system and that you can see this on your side.

       

      So instead of dismissing my concern, how about we have a call or you send an email in efforts of resolving the matter? Tesla is already contacting your account manager and will ensure you get this done, but I thought you might be more interested in doing so yourself considering the fire risk the presents to my house and I’ve reached out countless times asking for help.


      I’m asking for help. Please stop disregarding my concerns. I will be tracking all of these communications and in the event this device catches fire I will absolutely be holding you liable. You are my installer and obligated to fix this under warranty.

      I purchased a solar battery that has taken over a year to get up and running, and still has not become operational.
