      Based upon my previous very positive experience with Semper Solaris and Mr. ***** **** when they added a Tesla battery to my solar package, I asked ***** for an appraisal of my thirty plus year old roof. After a detailed inspection, with pictures, we committed to a lift and lay using my original concrete tiles. The project included removal and replacement of twenty solar panels. The assigned crew, led by project manager ********* *******, arrived early on the scheduled date, quietly parked all their vehicles so as not to inconvenience neighbors and got immediately to work! As ********* explained the plan, each team member initiated action as needed no shouting, no confusion, no loud radios just well -coordinated work! During breaks, there was no noise, food wrappers, etc. ********* returned periodically to ensure steady, safe progress and to update me. The roofing portion was completed a day early with GREAT results. The post-job cleanup was immaculate!***** and ********* coordinated with the **************** to complete the re-installation of our panels. The Solar team also arrived early, parked quietly, and mirrored the roofing team friendly, professional, self-directed, and super-efficient /effective. They also finished early, gave me a complete post-job debrief and left a totally clean jobsite with a fully up and running solar system. My experience with ***** ****, ********* *******, and all the Semper Solaris team has been perfect!

      Poor quality of work! After installing additional solar panels, they just left a an exposed metal sheet on my roof as part of the installation process. I reached out to have it fixed but the only answer I got is it is normal. No effort on their part to find a way on how to resolve the issue since they already got the payment.

      I was totally impressed from estimate to installation. Went through smooth install/post install and would highly recommend Semper to everyone! 5/5 stars!

      Semper Solaris warranty execution is a joke! It would have been cheaper to buy the inverter and install it myself. We have had our solar for 4 years when the inverter went out. I called to report it on the same day to start the warranty process to get the unit replaced as soon as possible. Our inverter is a Solar Edge 1000w wave inverter, they do not have the greatest reviews but we are well within our warranty period. The first "appointment" with Semper Solaris was 2 weeks later, this was a MS ***** call for me to troubleshoot. This was a complete waste of time, they just had me reboot the inverter. I did that before I called 2 weeks earlier. The second appointment (3 weeks after that) the tech came out, opened the cover and said "yep, your inverter isn't working, we'll have to order another one". He said it usually takes a few days to receive. A week later Semper Solaris called to let me know they have the inverter and the soonest appointment is another 3 weeks out. They just came out this week and replaced the inverter, we are finally back up and running. This process took over 2 months to be completed. My SDGE "True up" billing period ended last week. For the time our inverter was not working it added $1967.32 to my bill. I literally could have bought a new inverter from ****** for $1495.00 (saving over $500). Semper Solaris' process is absolutely ridiculous and wastes weeks of time. When my fridge went out under warranty, I was compensated for spoiled food. Semper Solaris costs me almost $2k because they dragged their feet and their response was "we don't compensate for lost production, you can try Solar Edge". Solar Edge had a replacement inverter out in less than a week, Semper Solaris took 2 months for a couple hours worth of work. I will let everyone know that when Semper Solaris is taking $50,000+ to install they are responsive but you're better off taking care of your own warranty problems because their customers aren't worth anything by that point.

      Semper Solaris did everything they promised. So far it is working great after two months of use. We will see how it does down the road. ********* was great with all the information she provided and the great price she was able to obtain for us.

      I've had problems with my system every year since getting i stalled. Every year I end up paying ****** over a 1,000$ in a tru-up bill this year I'm over ***** and I still have 6 months I'll be over 3 grand this way. I keep getting the run around every time I call. I'm at a point I don't want solar anymore

      This complaint is to alert people to take enough time to know what your getting into!In March of this year I called Semper Solaris to get a quote for a new roof and Solar system, as a fellow Veteran I trusted ,by their ads, that this company was reputable . On the day the salesman showed up ,before He arrived I received a call from from my Doctor that do to a cancellation He could see me that afternoon. This was in concern to getting on a list to have a much needed Knee replacement. When the salesman showed up I explained the situation and maybe we should re-schedule , but He insured us there was enough time to do this; that turned out to be the biggest mistake of our lives. The only thing we understood at that time before signing all the papers was what the monthly payment would be. A couple of days ago I received a call from the loan company that was conducting an audit and needed some information on the Solar installation. I pulled up all the docs saved on the computer and finally noticed the mess I got us into. Over the life of this loan this was going to cost us just under $ 180.000.00 for 18 panels and 2 back-up batteries. If that isn't bad enough the payment plan doesn't allow you to buy out the equipment until the 6th year which would be $91,446 after paying out $23,527 . Had we had enough time to have all this explained in detail before signing our life away, It would have never happened. I believe this to be very common among many business's in the world today, and the greed to make a profit takes priority over the wellbeing of the customer. ****** learned, don't be rushed into signing anything till you're sure what your getting into. As a Vietnam Veteran, I am appalled by this type of business practice whether it is run by Veterans or not will also be filling a complaint with the BBB and any other organization that I can.

      I was not provided the service that I was promised. So far Semper Solaris has not followed through with anything that has been discussed and they have not fixed the issues that I have brought to their attention. I have had to call and call them to get anything accomplished. So far to date nothing has been resolved. My next step is to file a complaint with BBB.

      ON 7/12/24 my solar went out. I called that day and approximate 10 times since . On 8/1/24 a technician came out and after two hours troubleshooting ,said you need a Sunpower inverter replaced- so the saga continues with no feedback. I called today and got a new case number, but no fix in sight. I know I have at least 6 case numbers,I just want a replacement inverter. Three years ago it took 100 days to get a replacement installed, Semper is great at selling because I can get some out herein 24 hours.But when it comes to service, they are lacking.And they use Semper in there name , suggesting there are a efficient well run organization similar to the US MARINE CORP. Nothing could be further from the truth.

      Don't trust the ads on TV! Semper Solaris only cares about getting their money. They are not HONEST. They have no INTEGRITY. Once I signed the contract for over $24K, they kept making changes and told me after 2 inspections and drawing plans that I also now needed to change my roof for an additional $12K+! They did damage to my property which they still haven't taken care of and it has been over 6 months. The saleswoman actually lied to both me and her boss about making a promise to me to carefully remove my exisiting roof tiles and store them in my garage. Luckily, I had it in writing from her. BUT, Semper is still putting me off for ruining all of my custom, expensive roof tiles! I keep on getting passed around to new "supervisors". I have dealth with over 20 people at Semper Solaris and each one tells me that they will take care of me and I never hear from them again. BEWARE!
