    I purchased equipment through Gold Rush which was delivered to them, and they went out of business and still have my order

    Gold Rush Energy Solutions installed a solar system at our home in November 2023. Our problem with the system arose in August 2024. At that time, we discovered that due to an error in how the system had been set up, NONE of our excess solar generated power had been sent to the grid. What wasn't routed to the battery system was wasted. During an extremely hot summer where ample energy should have gone to the grid and offset our electricity costs, we got no credit for what our system produced. As a consequence, we racked up about $1400 in true up charges as of August 2024.A technician fixed the problem, but we still had the giant PG&E **** to contend with. I was told that Gold Rush Energy Solutions would make good by paying back some of the charge. They just needed true-up bill. PG&E didn't send me the true-up bill until 1/21/25. I immediately tried contacting customer service at **********************, but no one ever answered. The original person I'd been working with no longer worked for the company. I left my contact info multiple times but never got a call back.Their mistake in setting up the system is what led to the loss of energy production and the mammoth true-up bill. I want them to pay us back for their error.

    We previously used Gold Rush Energy to install solar panels at our home and had a positive experience. Based on that, we reached out to them again to install a second set of batteries and paid a $1,000 deposit. Our goal was to have the gateway installed before the end of 2024 to qualify for available tax credits. I've attached an email from our sales ***resentative confirming that installation would be completed by year-end.Unfortunately, after that communication, the company stopped responding entirely. I had difficulty reaching anyone, and the last contact I received was in February 2025. At that time, I was told they were checking with their distributors for battery availability and would follow uphowever, I never heard back. Since then, all attempts to contact them have failed. Their business phone number is now disconnected, and I've received no responses despite multiple calls and emails to our sales *** and other company *********** appears the company may have closed without notifying its customers. We are seeking to recover the $1,000 deposit we paid.

    I purchased 28 solar panels through Gold Rush Energy in 2020, and have been incurring roof leaks ever since. They've came out on 3 different occasions in the past to try and fix the leak but have never been successful. They have admitted that it was their fault because I had to pay over $400 for them to inspect the leak last year to see if they were at fault and they did admit it was their fault and refunded my $400. Now I've tried emailing them with no answer and when you try calling them the line is either busy or they hang up on you. My dry wall has begun to crack on my ceiling where the leak is coming through and I need someone to come out to fix asap.

    I had solar put on my house by gold Rush energy solutions. They have failed to have my interconnection paperwork filed with PG&E and Im still having topay my PG&E bill and pay for my solar loan at the same time. I need my paperwork filed so all I am paying is for solar has been going on since January. It is now May 12

    My father-in-law purchased a solar system from this company for our residence. I come to find out the inspection for the permit failed and there was no follow-up from the company. Subsequently, the permit expired. I technically have an unpermitted solar system. Company has been unresponsive to my request to correct the permit.

    Appears to be out of business. I have a long warranty with them for maintenance of the solar system they installed in 2019.

    Installation of Solar system done in 2017. The guarantee is for 10 years parts and labor at sellers' expense. Seller (Gold Rush Energy Solutions) does not answer phone or return voice mail messages . One of my panels is blackened, meaning it is not reporting to PG&E. This cause my electric bill to be higher. I want Gold Rush to stand behind their guarantee or re-imburse me for the expense of hiring it done through another company.

    We started working with Gold Rush Energy Solutions on a SGIP PG&E solar battery backup project in June 2024. We have spent countless hours providing information into to design of the system which was completed in September 2024. We were told our SGIP application would be submitted in late September however, by the end of October it was not therefore we missed the open application window. We were then told it would be submitted by the end of December 2024 and again it was not and at that time told the application window would not open again until late February 2025. Again, in early March 2025 we were told our application was complete and would be submitted within one week. To date, our application has not been submitted as promised and we will most likely miss another open application window. We now are getting no response to our calls and emails to the company. We have made countless attempts to reach to owner of the company, ******, and have had no response.

    Gold Rush Energy installed a solar system on our roof in 2021. The very first winter the roof leaked and damaged the ceiling inside the home. After several calls they did come out and told me there was a faulty mount that created the leak and the fixed it, or so they said. They also painted the ceiling a a couple of small places with paint that did not match. Then it leaked again, more serious this time, they sent out a technician who told me that the mount that they used were all faulty and they had other similar problems with other houses. He said they would get back to me with a solution. The the story really begins as they started not answering the phones, not responding to messages or the many emails. We now decided to replace the roof and have the panels removed and remounted properly. After many, many attempts to contact them, and I mean many, i finally went on to Yelp and requested a proposal, and guess what somebody responded. I told them the problem, they said they would look in all of my communications and get back to me. Again after numerous attempts to reach them someone agreed to print out the plans, get the permit to do the work and schedule it. That was a few week ago and we are back to them not responding over and over. I am now in a bind as the roofer can not pull his permit until Gold Rush pull their permit. If you look on **** reviews you will find many complaints similar to mine. I just want to to do what they said they would do which is pull the permit, remove the panel and reinstall after the new roof is installed and repair the sheetrock damage on the interior of the home.
