Do not ever use this business. They make it unbelievably hard to cancel. They even show a button on their site offering to "Pause" your membership, which prompts you to call a number that is only open during the week (M-F) and when I have called, there is no answer. I also emailed this business to cancel and never got a response. Really slimy, awful business.Initial Complaint

I subscribed to their record service under the yearly plan. Their customer service was appropriate and I received records in a timely manner. Out of the 36 records I received I only liked 2 or three of them. I had planned on canceling my membership once the contract was up. I attempted to call and cancel multiple times and the number just rang. I then moved and received a statement from my credit card that I had been billed for the next year for 239 with no notification from the company. I disputed the transaction and received an email from them stating that I can receive a store credit but will not get refund as per my contract. I am unhappy with the music choice so I do not want a store credit. It is nearly impossible to cancel a membership on their site and without any notification from them I did not even know that the new subscription was going to start. I am requesting a full refund for a service that I do not want nor have I received any shipments on the new subscription. There are hundreds of complaints on Yelp, BBB, etc regarding the same billing practices. My next step will be to contact the Attorney General regarding this. mInitial Complaint

I called this business over a year ago to cancel my membership as I hadn't received a product from them for several months. They still charged me this year so I disputed the charge with my bank. They deposited a store credit onto my account without getting confirmation from me and made the claim that I accepted their store credit. Now they won't give me my money back or return my calls and emails regarding the situation. This company should be sued by the state AG for their fraudulent business practices.Initial Complaint

This subscription was opened over a year ago as a gift for my daughter. For a bit it was fine, however the company stopped sending product and still charging the card every month. There is no way to cancel the subscription and no product is being provided. This company should actually be referred to the CA attorney general as it does not look to have an available way to cancel a subscription and does not supply product that sub pays for. The only way to cancel a sub is to call a number, when that number is reached (it is only answered between 8am and 4pm pacific time) you are given a recording that it is busy and told to leave a message to call back. I have never received a call back in months. The email address simply replies with an automated reply and never follows up.I simply want this recurring charge canceled and not have to deal with this company anymore.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a 1 year subscription for 3 records/month with VNYL on 6/1/2022. I only received records for 11 out of 12 months, for a total of 33 instead of ************** May of 2023 I decided to cancel the service and attempted to do so online. On the website, the service cannot be cancelled or paused and customers are referred to a phone number. Upon calling the phone number I discovered my calls wouldn't connect. I checked the number multiple times but each time I called I received a message saying something like "all circuits are currently unavailable" and the call would disconnect. On 6/1/2023, my subscription was renewed for $317. I have tried calling again with the same result and have emailed the company asking to cancel the subscription and asking for a refund but I have heard no response.Initial Complaint

My daughter ******* bought me a gift subscription for one year for Christmas in 2021. In December 2022 they automatically renewed the subscription. My daughter noticed the charge and contacted them to cancel. They would not refund her $317. I am writing this complaint she is a minor age 17. We called and emailed the company. I was gifted a 3 month prepaid subscription for VNYL.org. I used my card to pay for shipping. I did not authorizes the use of my card for anything else. I received a charge of $110 each month in August, November and February for a subscription I did not sign up for or authorize the use of my card for. I am concerned because this company took my card information from when I paid for shipping only to charge me for a subscription I never paid for. For the past 2 weeks I have been calling and emailing this company to dispute these charges, I have never received an email and nobody has picked up my call. The call system only lets me leave a voicemail and says they are receive high call volumes. I have tried calling multiple times a day for many days and have only been able to leave voicemails.Initial Complaint

This business engages in predatory subscription and cancellation practices.When they sell gift subscriptions, the purchaser is signing up for recurring billing at the conclusion of the gift subscription. After that, Vnyl will continue to prompt the user to choose their vibes and receive product. Reasonable customer behavior is not to to that, because they believe theyve used their gift subscription in its entirety. Upon realizing that theyre still billing you despite not providing any product or indeed any service whatsoever for the unused months, youll come to find that they only accept cancellations by phone and do not offer refunds for unused months. Their call center is only open four hours a day, Monday through Friday. On top of that, you cant actually reach anyone because the wait times are long as the recorded message says. They do not return their messages, effectively holding you hostage as a customer.I have been forced to resort to chargebacks to get redress.
