I signed up for VNYL's subscription service in 2021. I was first charged for the service on 5/16/2021. My subscription rate is $14.99. In total, VNYL has received $314.79 from my bank account. My VNYL subscription is still active today.I have never received a shipment from this company. I have tried in the past to cancel my subscription by phone. Even within their posted business hours, customer service always goes to voicemail, encouraging the customer to leave their email address. I have received one email from a customer service rep in two years, with no follow-up.Initial Complaint

The business has zero information on their website regarding a renewal of subscription/membership and sent no email nor any other communication regarding when a renewal would be processed. I emailed them within hours of them charging my account requested it be canceled and my account be refunded. They are claiming the charge was from 3 days prior to my email, which is false; both the email and the charge are dated the 19th of December. I am very simply requesting them honor my request for a refund for services that have not yet been provided, not a refund on services or merchandise already received.Initial Complaint

I have been paying for the service for 6 months and have not received any of the promised goods I have been paying for. I have not been able to get in touch with a representative after numerous attempts to contact the company and cancelling service is impossible without contacting them directly over the phone. I also can't look at a payment history in any way other than scrolling through my actual bank statements. But I've been charged ***** a month for a delivery of a vinyl record every month and have not received a single record since the first one. I know they have the right address because I received my initial record, after that not a single thing has come from them while I'm still paying monthly and have not been able to contact someone to cancel my service. I called multiple times to cancel my subscription but each time there was nobody on the other line to answer and assist me. Instead, an automated voice told me to leave a message with my email, which I did but received no response. According to the website, the only way to cancel the subscription is to call that number, but it does not seem to work. Hello - I am being charged for a monthly subscription I never agreed to. I was given a gift for a 3 month subscription and they force you to provide a credit card (which is ridiculous on a gift subscription). After my gift subscription was done (additionally had trouble with that whole process as well...using the gift card and services) I never intended to keep using their services. I feel from the start there was going to be issues and now I see my credit card has been hit with 4 charges of ****** (one each month starting in Sept 2022). I feel this is deceitful their practice and would like to stop the charges and have my money returned to me ******* (4 months so far at ******** I'm writing to you for assistance in resolving this as well as bring attention to this company and their practice.

I have had a VNYL subscription since 9/21 for 3 curated records / month for which I have recieved no deliveries but have been charged *** each and every month without fail. I contacted the company on 11/23 asking to receive a refund or the records for the months where I had been charged without receiving any products. I also asked for my credit card to be removed from the system so that it is no longer being charged.
In response and without any further input from me, the company cancelled my account and gave me $897 store credit. They claimed because I didn't not select a "vibe" each month I would not receive any records but for some reason they would still take money from me. I responded that the store credit is inadequate as I did not sign-up to buy items from their poorly stocked store but to receive "curated" records each month. I was then told that because the account was cancelled that they could not send me the curated records.
I'm only asking to either receive a refund for the full amount for their breach of contract by providing no curated records or to send me the curated records for the months that were missed. It should't be that difficult unless this company is purposely operating a scam.

VNYL steals money from customers. Based on the complains here, my experience is not unique to me. I also had a subscription for a year and have only received 3 out of the 12 months worth of what I've paid for every single month since starting the subscription. I have contacted VNYL for almost 3 months now via their phone number and I constantly leave voicemail messages and never get a return phone call. I have emailed them several times asking for my account to be canceled and no responses. This is the only automated response I receive from them - "Hi ***** - Thanks for reaching out to VNYL! This is just a quick auto-reply to let you know we got your message.We'll do our very best to get back to you within ***** hours. I was gifted a one month subscription to VNYL for my birthday in December. I utilized the free gift card I received for the month of December and after receiving the product it was clear that the records they were going to provide were not quality music or notable artists that anyone would recognize. After this, I never went back to their site to make another selection of vinyl records to be received or used their services in any way whatsoever. Despite this, VNYL charged me $39.99 monthly from January 2022 to October 2022 - again, without receiving or selecting the three records that I was being charged for (the total cost of 30 records). I obviously immediately attempted to contact the company, however to cancel your membership they require you to contact them via a phone call. I tried unsuccessfully for 5 business days in a row to reach them as their phone line simply claims they are busy and to try later, then terminates the call. I finally reached out via the initial email I received and heard back days later. VNYL offered me a store credit of the full amount I was charged as they acknowledged they had not sent me any product, which I refused and requested a full refund. My request was altogether denied. I have since filed a dispute with my bank and plan to take further action independently if not refunded in full. I signed up for a membership and paid but afterwards realized it wasn't what I thought it was and I couldn't get music that I knew. They require you to call to cancel. I called but only was getting a voicemail. I left a voicemail. I was never canceled and have been paying for years and I've never received one item from this company. They will not refund me anything. I told them that I want full reimbursement as I did what they asked and called to cancel and they didn't have any other way to do it and nobody to answer the phone.
