    Giving a two star rating is being VERY generous. It was hassle free getting insured through Shaver agency two years ago and when I needed to file a claim, it was taken care of through King Insurance but then King Insurance cancelled my policy merely because I had to file a claim. Shaver received the same cancellation letter that I did in July of 2024 stating they were not going to be renew my policy after the October 15 midnight deadline. There was limited communication and Shaver had three months to find another carrier. They dropped the ball. I could only leave messages in their general voicemail and no one ever returned my calls. Then the day before cancellation, after making a stink about no call backs - on my 3rd call of the morning, ******** Shaver returned my call and I expressed my strong feelings regarding their lack of customer service and she said "we've been a little under the weather" yet the office was open for business. She called her mom, ****** Shaver and I finally got a return call. ****** Shaver called to tell me she was 2000 miles away from the office, as if that would appease me. I was more than upset since she had three months to find another carrier and yet made excuses of not having proof that my roof was replaced (**** got copies of the receipts as requested since they were the ones who paid for it) and then the fact that my mobile home was more than 30 years old was a problem in her "search". None of this was brought up the numerous times I had called inquiring about another insurance carrier. (I always keep very detailed notes of my business interactions or lack thereof.) So, I no longer have mobile home insurance as of nearly a week ago due to Shaver Insurance Agency's NEGLIGENCE. I've been doing what ****** Shaver should have been doing for the last three months, searching. Fortunately, I have some good prospects, no thanks to Shaver Insurance Agency. If you want a company that communicates with you, shy away from Shaver Insurance Agency
