    HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED Reviver is engaging in extortion. They are withholding my vehicle registration update unless I pay for a service plan. If I pay, then they will push the vehicle registration and update my plate (extortion). I do not want a service plan. I did however, pay for the electronic plate, which should entitle me to my state paid and legally required registration.

    Dishonest company which won't stand by warranty. I purchased the plate 4/5 months then started experiencing problems with the display on the plate. Since I'm in ********, there were not official certified installers in my state (BUT they still sold me the plate for over $1,000) so I had to pay a auto shop to install it. After a month I started experiences issues with the display but they wont send me another plate without me paying $150 for the install since i "didn't install it at a certified installer". HOW WAS I ABLE TO INSTALL IT AT CERTIED INSTALLER IN ******** WHEN THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY IN ******** WHEN I PURCHASED IT?Honestly it's crazy they operate like that. I will be filing a complaint to the ******** AG and Secretary of State so they are aware of issues like this if they plan to go all digital one day.

    Having the option to change your plate with the word "STOLEN" if your car is stolen was the main reason I paid for and agreed to buy this digital license plate. Unfortunately my car was stolen on 11/02/2023 @ 3:00 A.M. I first contacted law enforcement. Right after my phone call, I logged in the app and reported the vehicle stolen, thinking that my plate would show STOLEN. Right after I reported my vehicle stolen on the app, I received an email requesting a copy of the police report at 3:12 a.m. At this point I was already getting upset because the thieves could easily pull over and remove the plate, but it made sense for a business to only be able to display the words STOLEN from a vehicle may need proof that it was actually stolen. Once done with the police report, I took a picture and uploaded as requested at 4:35 A.M. At 7:27 a.m. they finally send me an email stating " We sincerely appreciate your for sharing the document related to your stolen license plate. We understand the inconvenience and frustration that can result. Please note that accordance to our policy, there is a fee of $150.00 associated with the replacement of your digital plate" and still my license plate did not show the words STOLEN!At 8:45 a.m. I emailed them again asking if my plate was displaying the words stolen and no reply. ON NOVEMBER 15TH, they reply to me stating that my digital plate NOW is displaying the words STOLEN.How can a company market a product this way and still get away with it?How are they asking me to buy a replacement when I don't even know if the car will be found? By the way, my vehicle was never found.If anyone out there is looking to purchase this plate for the STOLEN feature, I would strongly recommend you against it.

    I have 2 Rplates. One of the Rplate was not working. Tech support asked me to try various ways to fix the problem but to no avail. Tech support even told me that if none of these can solve the issue they will replace a Rplate for me. We tried every means and ways and still can't be fixed. I asked for a replacement and they said "NO'! I would have to send the Rplate and have them look at it before making a final decision. WHAT??!! Why couldn't you tell me that in the beginning?! A few days later I've decided to cancel my subscription on both my Rplates. The rep said they would send me the return label and they would expiate. Couple of days pass I did not receive any return label so I called again and ask for the return labels. The rep said they would send it to upper management and will send me the labels ASAP. I waited for 7 days and still nothing! I just called the again and this time they said the upper management misplaced my request and they would send the request to another management... It is so obvious they are purposely delay my return! It is not hard to send a return label! All I ask is to get my return labels done!! I don't want to fake management to make excuses anymore!!

    I purchased the RPlate (hardwire) and received it a few days before Thanksgiving and they were not able to install. Fast forward, the RPlate was finally installed December 16th and only displays the temp tags given during the initial account setup and has not displayed the correct (updated) DMV plate given for almost 3 weeks. I was told by Reviver that the plate is defected (showing low voltage) and that a replacement would be sent out. The replacement arrived today so I have made **** calls over the past 3 weeks 3 requesting a supervisor/manager the others whoever answered the phone. The customer service rep tried helping but all she did was repeatedly ask us to do what was tried numerous times over the past 3 weeks. Speaking with one of the Supervisors he actually insinuated that we might have contributed to the device malfunctioning. The call today was to request a date for the technician to come and replace the faulty equipment with the new one sent. Spent 58 minutes on the phone mostly on hold for nothing. No installation appointment was given or suggested to replace their faulty equipment. No one ever calls back to followup as they always agree to do during the call so again I ended up placing another (what seems to always be) useless call for some type of resolution. Problem solving skills are seemingly nonexistent but the empty promises are abundant with the Reviver Reps and Supvs I have spoken with over the past 3 weeks. This matter isn't taken seriously by REVIVER although it places the customer at risk of receiving a citation or worse case scenario having a brand new vehicle towed.
