I took my car in to get inspected for the issues it was having I dropped it off about an hour and when I returned they told me it was the transmission issue and theyd have to replace it with a rebuilt. I didnt have the money for what they quoted me so I told them Id return when i had it completed. It seemed the son ***** wanted to help me because he called me back and said instead of 3.5K they could charge me 3K for installing the transmission and we could get the process started with 2K. Im glad I didnt feel right enough to not have the complete amount that they needed to have it paid off so I held off. I returned 6 months later and since time had passed they needed to inspect it AGAIN. Which they did and now ***** notified me the transmission was now shot and Id have to definitely replace it. I fixed my mechanical issues with less than 800$ (it was not transmission related at all. The transmission is in great standing) if I had allowed zoom auto to replace my current transmission the issue wouldve still persisted because it wasnt transmission related at all. In the second occurrence when I spoke with ***** and he gave me a high quote to me it didnt seem worth it to fix the car which ***** called me back and said again hed be willing to help me I spoke to my dad and we dont usually do this but hes offering to buy the car off you and Im very strong willed I refused to give up my car because I had a feeling something wasnt right. if I had felt desperate enough I wouldve given up and sold my car to them which they couldve fixed for under 1K and they wouldve turned a profit. To me thats either one of two scenarios, either they dont know what theyre doing OR they tried to scam me and get over on me. YOU decide, the tow company I had service me is also a family friend so they have record of when and who I took the car to in case zoom auto wants to claim I never took my business there.
