I was placed at *** Transitional Housing on January 31, 2023 by the *********** of ****************************** when I was paroled from Prison. I was released from *** on August 19, 2023. While I was there I was drug tested and some of these tests were sent out to Precision Diagnostics. I have been being personally billed for the last 6 months for these tests. The bill coming from Precision to me personally. I have contacted *** Recovery about this several times. Something seems very suspecious here. I would assume that the **** of Corrections has paid *** for my time spent there. And it seems that perhaps *** has pocketed that money. Precison Diagnostics, at on e point, attempted to bill my private HMO insurance and it was denied. They could have only got my insurance information from ***.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/18/2023

    Good afternoon ******,

Regarding complaint # ******** - ****************** reported receiving bills from precision labs for the urine Analysis test he had submitted while a client at **** It is my understanding that he brought this to the attention of our Program Director *************************. ************************* asked ****************** to email or bring in the bill so she could send the information to ************** to have them waive the fees. After speaking with *************************, she never received the bills so therefore she was unable to send to the lab to get the fees waived. ************** does all of our lab work and they do run into issues where they dont have all the insurance information to process the claim correctly, and when this happens their system will auto generate a bill directly to the client. The only thing needed to get this corrected is to reach out to them with the correct information so that they can get it corrected in their system.

Please let me know if you have further questions and I will be glad to assist.

    Thank you

    Customer Answer

    Date: 10/19/2023

I am rejecting this response because: I had started receiving bills from Precision in April 2023. I had received several bills over the course of 6 months. Multiple times I tried to correct this problem with *** and each time I was told that it had been corrected and it has not. Each time I presented *** with the bills. Nothing was ever corrected. This last ********** received I sent it directly to my Parole Officer as instructed to do so by my lawyer  to whom I reached out to for help. I also directly contacted Precision by way of detaching part of the bill and writing on the back all the information regarding that the ******************* was responsible for this bill. After giving *** 6 months to fix this on multiple occassions  and not fixing it I decided on a different course of action. And what has my private insurance got to do with any of this when I was placed at *** by the *******************??
