    I would give ZERO stars if I could. Hiring Abel R******** owner of Arod Painting was the worst decision we could have ever made. On the contract Abel stated that the interior painting job along with a few more small jobs listed, would take 6 days and he had 6, 3 were precise workers when it came to painting. During the time we dealt with Abel we never saw 6 workers working on the job. More than half of the time there was only one worker, and the rest of the time there were two. He was unaware that we had cameras and could see the workers coming and going. He stated the job would require 3 installments of payments. He requested $1,000 initially and after 4 days into the job, had barely started painting, he asked for the balance owed. We had to explain to him that that would only be two installments,and if we were to pay in full before work was done, he could easily take his time and possibly put us on the back burner while incorporating another job or two. We wound up paying the majority of the money which was a big mistake. The next two working days only one worker was working. After 3 weeks went by, Abel’s crew had not completed the job. During the course of the time the workers made several mistakes like overspray, needing another coat, paint on the carpet,wallpaper, hardware, fans, etc…Just basically sloppy work. We had to constantly use blue tape to bring to their attention the problems. His workers even swapped out our vacuum cleaner leaving their vacuum cleaner that was dirty and did not work as well as ours. We asked him to bring ours back but he failed to do so. Abel deserves to lose his business license. Avoid dishonesty, a poor manager, a scammer, and being lied to and skip over this business. The cameras were a great asset to have to help prove Abel R******** should be denied a business. If anyone is looking to hire a painter please do not contact Arod Custom Painting.
