      Own a 2013 *** ****** car fully paid for kept up to maintenance car kept in great condition except engine light would go on and off time and time again had a diagnosis on the car nothing wrong per autozone here assumed it was just a computer problem bought the car from a third party whom I assume bought the car from d*** ***** auto per the back of the car is a couple of recalls on the car as I googled the vin number but engine just completely went out now my car is sitting no warnings or anything car just went out *** does not want to fix ask me how many miles are on the car my car is a little over ******* miles regardless this car has more than one recall on the car I think they should fix this issue because seems to me the engine is down in relation to the recall *** *** of no assist all poor customer service didnt try to go into detail just said oh we cant help you because of the mileage we know we cant help I have health issues and a family and have no car I have to walk everywhere I need to go because Ive been without a car due to no assistance from *** Im thankful my car hasnt burst into flames with the oil issue assuming thats why the car is down repair guy looks at my car and says its the bottom of the engine pistons and Barrons its cheaper to replace the engine which cost ***** dollars who has that kind of money my car is paid for I cant afford payments or a new car

      *** ****** had a recall for engine that I never received a notice about. The reason I didn't receive the notice was because when I purchased the pre-certified *** my title was delayed for two months which is when the recall took place. I was told that *** would not cover the cost to replace my engine which seized due to the recall issue. They didn't cover any cost since I didn't bring my car in for a recall I was not aware of. They told me that it's on the customer to check their website every month for any open recalls. . .The dealership wanted to charge me over 7K to replace the engine. I went to an outside mechanic and found a better price for a new engine which cost me $6,300. *** refuses to cover any cost of the repair and says it's my issue. I will never buy another *** again!

      I have an EV6 *** that I recently purchased new and have been having ongoing problems with the radio amplifier. I brought it to the dealer 3 times and the first two times they did not have "enough time" to diagnose the problem, even though this is a well know problem with cars made between Nov 21 and Feb 22. So today I took it in early for the third time to Downtown *** and they had the car all day and they told me they diagnosed the problem, it was for sure a bad amp, the well known problem. BUT they needed to "open a special tech-line case" because the parts needed to be replaced and they are very expensive and they would need the car for at least one more full day or possible over the weekend to get the information *** ********* needs to "open the tech-line case" and get the replacement amp. This is the third time it was there for this problem. If they told me before I took it in today that this was just the start of the paperwork they need to get the parts from *** I would never have spent the better part of my day dealing with this, **** rides etc, for the third time. I did contact the manager by e-mail the first time, and a week later I still have never received an e-mail back. I called *** corporate myself and after 30 minutes on hold, I had to hang up and then I tried one more time, and they still didn't answer after 30 minutes.

      hello I have taken my car to *********** after it broke down. The lady specifically told me there was a recall on the engine and I had it towed to *********** because of what the service lady ******* told me.It got there and she said weeks later that it wasnt approved and that she was going to try one more thing .. she did and weeks went by and She calls a couple weeks later and says she is still working on it that she thinks I should call Kia ******** affairs I call Kia ******** affairs be they tell me it is a recall on my car. I had no idea when I bought the car only 10 months before obviously the prior owner did not take it in for the recall. It has fell on me now and the ******** affairs rep told me to speak to **********. Time went by after I reach out and hoping they were working something out they tell me Urolgy reach back out to coanshner affairs again.I have been going around in circles.. paying car notes paying rental car insurance and trying to save ******* on top of a car that had issue I did not know about and it was dumped on me. I need someone to please help me get this issue resolved cause it is not fair that I just got this car less than. A year ago and have to buy new engine ******* for this I had no knowledge of. The ********** is now telling me to get the car or there going to tow it another few on me. No help at all from Kia ********** and I am stuck with a broke car that has recalls.Please help me get this situation resolved

      In 2012, I financed a brand new 2012 Kia ****** with 10year/100,000 miles warranties... I had the vehicle barely five years and the transmission died. I informed the dealership's service manager where I purchased the vehicle from; that my Transmission should be covered in my Powertrain warranty coverage which I paid extra to have in case of an emergency... ** that time, the service manager told me my warranties had expired. I still can't understand how that was possible, since I had the car barely five years and it only had ****** miles... ** the same dealer, since they had my vehicle and it didn't run, I agreed to trade it in... In 2017, I traded my 2012 brand new ********** for a used 2016 Certified Kia ****** with ****** miles with the 10 year/100,000 miles warranties. I have had this vehicle for barely five years, the powersteering hose burst, I had the vehicle towed to the dealer in December 2021, Supposably, the service department fixes the problem still costing me $1300 out of my pocket, when this was a recall issue and I have the extended warranty coverage. Since then, my vehicle had to be towed back to the service **** at the dealer in March 2022, and July 2022. The last time, the service manager tells me the engine is dead, the warranty company is supposed to cover the repairs because it's part of the powertrain warranties that I paid extra to have. The warranty company denied my claim, leaving me stranded with four young children, To make matters worst, I am responsible for the labor costs for the warranty company requesting the service **** to take the engine out of the vehicle to be reinspected and an absurd amount of rental fees. I can't understand how two fairly new vehicles barely last 5 years, and died completely before even reaching 100,000miles. I am out of alot of money, and two vehicles, neither vehicle lasted the full term of the finance loan, which is unheard of to me. Someone is selling me lemon vehicles, I feel justified to feel this way,

      My issue is not resolved. I am still out of alot of money, and two vehicles that I paid additionally to have warranties. Both vehicles broke down, and all repairs should have been covered under the warranties.  My claims were denied, when neither vehicle had reach either the time or mileage. This resulted in me being stranded with four young children, and a great loss, and very stressed. Not only *** vehicles are reliable, they also false advertise.

      Until, I receive some kind of compensation for my losses I will not be satisfied. I'm reaching out to my lawyer, since the Business doesn't want to take accountability....

      2016 ************** - Serviced regularly - just had diagnostics ran 2 months ago - all fine - Just turned over 100k miles - ****** just stopped under a traffic light. No indication as to why - at Kia ********** for three weeks until they could get to it. Just called and cannot give any reason as to why the engine just stopped working. Told me they need to replace for 7k - ******s just do not stop, but this is an ongoing issue with KIA **** is not right and needs to be addressed. On line with *** waiting over an hour this time (last time was 3 hours, before I gave up). No communication/contact/answer. ******s just do not stop without reason. **** issue needs to be dealt with on a global level. I have been researching and it happens quite frequently. It is unethical and so very wrong.

      I spoke with a **** at the main location. It is not the fault of the dealership, although they did tell her they had not had a chance to look at engine, they did tell me that it was seized and didnt know why. Then upon my prompting to tell me why, they called back and left a message I have kept and said it was a small internal oil leak. This seems to be the issue with the past engines lawsuits. There was never low oil, nor oil on the ground. Manufacturers default. I met with *****, the service department manager, and he was nice and going to order a new engine, as I have no choice but to fix it. With that being said they had several ***s with seized engines waiting to be fixed. Again, manufacturing default. Seems *** either lasts forever, or you got the short straw in manufacturing production line. This car has been regularly maintained and serviced. Diagnostic ran in June before my daughter took a trip out of state to see her grandmother, and nothing wrong but changing spark plugs and oil for preventative and regular service.  No one has gotten ahold of me since the day I made this complaint, which was the same day I talked to ****, in ****** ********** call center (or wherever she is located), again she was super nice, but did indicate that I was saying hey the dealership said this, and she put me on hold and called them and they told her they hadnt even looked at it. Again I have calls, voicemails, times and dates. Whats done is done, but I want my complaint to stand, as numbers of people who this happens to matter. 

      if *** wants to pick up the tab for faulty manufacturing, and replace engine, as they ethically should then they can reimburse me as I have to pay for defect. And by what I have seen @ the dealership, I am not the only one.

      I have a letter that is from the tort attorneys saying u would receive the full amount of the engine replacement. This was months ago. They said they were sending checks in July after several phone calls, I have yet to receive any amount of compensation,  Absolutely nothing has been resolved on my mom and end. I paid over 5k to replace an engine that just stopped under a traffic light, and ************ manager had 7 engines to replace and showed me the stack on his desk, with nothing found as to why they just stopped.

      I have purchased two vehicles and leased two vehicle with *** *********************** Most recent lease was through June 2022 because of market conditions I terminated my lease early through a kia ****** and purchased a new vehicle. I paid for my vehicle registration even though the vehicle was leased. I have been trying to get *** to sign a form from my local *** that ANY refund due from the *** could be refunded to me. I have patiently been trying to resolve this issue since March 2022. I have faxed explanation and forms to *** in March 2022 and June 2022. I patiently call back in 5-7 business days. I still have no resolution and my patience is worn. It does not matter if I speak to customer service, the care team, or the escalation team, nobody seems to understand the request. I have NEVER missed a payment, until now there were no notes on my account!

      I have a 2018 Kia ******* I have always taking care of ********************** always taken it to dealership for service, My car currently has engine failure due to oil consumption, *** has denied the claim to fix it eventhough it's covered by warranty! So im currently paying a car note on a vehicle that's not drivable! I bought the car at ****** miles, *** is stating they need the previous owners maintenance records because there is a hap between **** miles to ****** miles which was before zi purchased the car! I'm at the end of my rope, I have no other transportation, I can't miss anymore days from work, I don't know what else to do

      On 5/21/22 I sent a check for ****** to Kia ******* to purchase my vehicle at lease end. The check was from my Bank, Navy ******************** and was for ******* over the buy out amount. My bank assured me that Ki would cut me a check for the overage. The payment was applied to my account but I have yet to receive the residual. I have contacted *** numerous times and I'm always told the same thing "the check is being processed". It's now been three months. I have been on the phone so many times and I'm never allowed to speak with anyone above a supervisor. I don't know how to proceed from here. Can you help?thank you

      I purchased my 2014 *** ****** in August 2020. The engine went up on me in the middle of the road. My car was towed to ********** in ******** and for 3 days I was told they couldnt find my car. My car was there for weeks before it was even fixed and I was given the run around each time I called. I filed reimbursement from *** since this ended up being a recall that I wasnt informed of. They denied my claim stating all owners needed to have the issue repaired by Oct 2020. I had just bought the vehicle & never received information regarding this. They shouldve done what was right and reimbursement me. The ending emailing me after I wrote a negative review stating they would send me reimbursement for part of the rental I had for 6 weeks. This was 6/13/22 & I have yet to receive the payment or and response to my emails.
