      3 years ago we bought a 2016 *** ******** SXL. I LOVE my car, but I started noticing that the oil was getting low quickly. I took it in to the *** ********** for a consumption test. After doing 3 different tests, they told me that my car was fine to lose a quart of oil every **** miles. I was worried because that didnt sound right. The mechanics and office staff ensured me it would be fine because, l had the best warranty they also said, I could blow up my engine and it would be covered Well, a month ago we were driving and my car started acting up and ended shutting off. The oil was empty. I had just put 3 quarts in it 3weeks earlier! We had to put 3 more quarts in the car to limp it to the **********. Now! They will not cover to fix the engine because its not under warranty We called consumer of *** and the said there is a good faith that she could try. Im hoping that might work because of the previous oil issue. When we started the oil issue, we were at $57,000 miles! So under the $60,000 ***** Well, That was last week and we have yet to hear from her. I would never buy another ***! I want to tell everyone that one to get rid of them! For real! Do research! I loved my car so much! But the company is horrible!

      I wish I could give *** negative stars for how poorly they have handled this "*** ***** theft surge. They should be reimbursing all affected drivers, paying for security upgrades, and supplying everyone with free wheel locks for their cars. They also should be contacting all of their drivers and informing them of this trend and advising everyone on how to be safe. They have been silent and watching their profits roll in from all the parts that are being ordered all over the country to repair thousands of cars. It's disgusting. I regret buying my ***, as soon as I get my car repaired I am getting rid of it and going back to ******* I will never ever support *** again in my life.

      My dad has a 2016 *** *********** he bought brand new from ******** in ******* *****. In 2022 my dad notice that the car would be a quart low. So my dad took it to ******** in **********, three times. On the third time ******** decided to change the engine because *** cooperate told them to. My dad picked up the car on a Wednesday from ******** . On Friday the car caught on fire. Now *** cooperate did a fire investigation and the report stated "it was undetermined where the fire started". *** cooperate and ******** washed their hands and said go through your insurance company.

      Do your homework before buying a Kia ******** Purchased a new Optima in 2013 and it is using a quart of oil about every 500 *************** before buying.

      I do not recommend any *** products! I am still having issues with *** because of their product that they dont stand behind, knowing that it can be stolen easily, which has happened to me! I am also having problem with **********************, *******************, not paying their portion of the gap coverage and ignoring my calls! If I could give every single *** *********** the parent company and their cars a negative star, I would! Do not be like me and hundreds of thousands of other people buying a product they dont stand by and can easily be stolen and they dont do anything about it. They dont even acknowledge theres a problem and theres hundreds of lawsuits stay away from ***. Its a terrible product.

      Overall it took 8+ months (250 days) with constant calling in for a status updates on reimbursement with my extended warranty. This review is to share the not great experience I had. Use Control F to find key words to skip the long read. *Knock sensor issue 6/5/22 driving to photograph location wedding. Get a tow truck, cancel the predestined hotel, get a hotel at a higher rate last minute, get ubers to go rent a vehicle. ?My case was started 6/17/22 & check was finally issued 2/22/23 & finally received 3/2/23 . *I have an extended warranty (on my *** ****** EX 2017 which I adore) - contract says will be reimbursed for this issue.*I called the *** ****# & got info to start a claim via the website. Two claims were created? *Later June, submitted list of costs in detail with receipts. *Voicemail from V 7/7 - they can not include the hotel stay with the warranty type I had. Fine.* I call about a month later told it would take about 30 days. Call a month later, now told it takes 60 days. During these calls the only update is they see it in the system. *Each call is ~ hour with horrible loud music & continuous interruptions "my wait is longer than 5 minutes". DO NOT use the option to get a call back while keeping your place in line-I'm still, to this day waiting. *Month or two later I call, being told 90 days. Something must wrong and begged for R to investigate. Now I'm told it these cases were closed for some reason. During the last few calls, no one else mentioned/ noticed this, hence the complaint of adequacy of some representatives. *I was informed me that the rental car limit is only $39 a day - someone may need a work around to get that rate with a rental company. *12/28, I get an email stating my amount and processing will take ***** days. *I call 2/17 (50 days) and get ambiguous information / 2 weeks.*Hindsight of course is not asking for more from *** due to stress, missing a day of work/pay, hotel costs & the time it took to repeatedly call.

      Bought a brand new kia **** in August 2022. Dealership said we had the kia ******* app, roadside assistance and a warranty. In January *************************************************************************** *******ed since purchase. *** states they could not find my car so I have no warranty or roadside assistance. Contacted corporate via email twice and just now (March) got a response that kia ******* is not available for my car, it's only installed on certain cars. They could not verify warranty and roadside assistance - referred me to contact another department. *** ****** I love my car but I will never buy another kia ******* again. Get it together **** I will be getting rid of this car asap. It isn't worth the money they charge.

      *** denied my claim after my car caught fire while driving, even though I have paperwork to prove the Lifetime Warranty on my engine. The BBB did not do much in this case. *** recommended that I file with the Better Business Bureau if I did not like their verdict, which is telling. The BBB sided with *** despite the documentation I sent in proving my warranty. It is obvious that if I a company recommends that you contact the BBB that the BBB is one of their partners who are not going to do anything for the consumer's benefits. Waste of my time contacting *** and the BBB. It is all a scam! This is a low rating for *** and the Better Business Bureau! The BBB may delete parts of my statement before posting to cover their dishonesty.
