      They came out and did an inspection, I walked away and the next thing you know the tech was working on our roll-up door WITHOUT APPROVAL. I asked him what he was doing and said he is just securing the rails, no worries and no charge. Next thing you know I have ********************* in collections trying to collect a bill for something that was NEVER approved and sent me the work order with a forged signature.       I employed Vortex to change the door swing at my commercial retail storefront due to the city not allowing a door to swing into the right a way. Vortex installed the door to out swing into the right a way about 3 years ago. This mistake which I believe they should've known and brought to my attention in the first place is not part of this complaint. I hired them 1/18/23 again because of the change of use permitting we have at the building. All plans are posted on ******** maps that detail the swing of the door. I also met with one of their employees *********************** and explained and gave him access to the printed plans along with verbally telling him what needed to happen. I don't know where he got confused because they really only fixed some damage that had occurred to the frame of the door and never changed the swing. ***** told me to f*** off, hung up and wouldn't return my calls, I also reached out to the higher *** and thought I was getting somewhere but nothing came of it. I reached out again giving them notice that I would have no choice but to report this and finally ***** acted like he was going to do something but my gut tells me they're just waiting for the one year to lapse so I have no recourse with the BBB. I've made numerous attempts to get this rectified and they make zero efforts to fix this problem or at the very least return my money. I will look back at the records to show how much money was paid to Vortex.
