      This is a storage facility. They have my boat within their RV/Boat storage section. The gate has not been working since April. They have sworn up and down that the gate will get fixed and there is no movement. They have it posted on their website that the gate is open from 7am. However in reality you have to wait until they have someone on site to open the gate. I have been several times where no one is on site for me to use my boat. They have since put out a email stating that the ***** ** storage is no longer able to be accessed. I have called to complain to the general manager. He will not return my phone calls after attempting three times to contact him and leave messages. I dont know what Im paying for, I cant even access my boat at all at this point and no one at this place has answers for me.

      like many of the complaints with this company, the rate increases got a little ridiculous and frequent. However, I closed my unit with them and provided them with 30 days notice on April 30th to end May 30th. I had them update my address for the $35 deposit refund which was incorrect. After leaving they emailed me a refund receipt, again with the incorrect address. I replied back to that email within 15 minutes replying "the address on the receipt is wrong and need to be correct to ****my address**** Please resend the receipt with the correct address" ***** ****** confirmed shortly after, "GOT IT, Thank You." It has not been a month and I still have not received my deposit refund. US Storage frequently do not respond to emails and I am out of patients to check to see if they mailed it to the wrong address after confirming that the the address was incorrect TWICE.

      US Storage Center located at *********************************** does not provide a safe and healthy business environment that will allow the customer to breath effectively and clean themselves effectively while packing loading moving in or out under business hours. The business hrs posted is 6am - 10pm m-Sunday including holidays to the customer. There office hrs are ******* m-Saturday the thing is us storage center staff member hope and ******** or both lazy uneducated not qualified to work with the public very disrespectful in communicating to customer prejudice to Islamic culture as it relates to clean bathrooms etc i had to clean there bathrooms for a week and take out trash because staff named hope would not clean nor take out trash. The 4th floor where my unit 4250 is located does not have AC, climate control, no fans or windows open for breathing purpose to pack or load. I suffered breathing issues on Saturday June 21 in the evening see camera because of high temperature in facitity as it was 96 degrees outside. Note i will be attending the ** on June 22 2025 for follow up on my asthma issues because of the the incident on June 21 2025 at us storage unit 4250

      I have not been given the option by the merchant to make any type of payment towards my bill; only if it is a full payment that is currently due! I have asked the company by telephone and email with no success. I was told in April when I called the head office; the manager for my region would make contact, this didnt happen. I want to pay my bill but I am on very fixed income at the moment! I am 65 years old. I have actually never heard of a company that will not take a client's money for an overdue ****?! Now the company is planning to auction/sell my belongings which is unheard of; since I have not been given any option to actually pay the bill! I signed a contract obliviously not being aware of this very crucial piece of information! I need some assistance to block the selling of my belongings and create a payment plan to be put in place to get the account up to date. This billing system they created is a trap! You can only make full payments with no options on the payment app/links to another amount but what is generated on the account scheme. So they auction off your belongings. The items in the storage box total thousands of dollars more than what I owe for the rental fees. I really need some help with this situation.

      I responded to an offer of a discount posted in front of US Storage, *** at ********************************* Appt 6+ months ago. They refused to honor the discount and I filed a complaint. It was resolved. They had changed my unit # due to damages and failed to start a new account and instead kept overriding the system. There have been persistent problems with payments and invoices since. Now, without any warning, the contracted cost of $60+ has been doubled to $120+ to reflect an Immaculate CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit. The wooden platform floors of the unit have been damaged by heat and rain water.This company claims to have no knowledge of the Consumer Laws and Laws against GOUGING ESPECIALLY IN A PANDEMIC-NOT TO MENTION THE *** **** AND RENT CONTROL. THE CALL CENTER ASKED ME TO SEND THEM A COPY OF WHOEVER *** ***** (CA OAG) IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD LF HIM AND KNOW NOTHING OF PRICE GOUGING OF RENT CONTROL.THEY MADE SWEEPING INCREASES ACROSS THE BOARD WITH NO REGARD TO THE LENGTH OF MY RENTAL AND THE USUAL AND CUSTOMARY PRICE OF RENTAL SPACE OF 10% AFTER AT LEAST ONE YEAR. TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH MY ACCT HAVE BEEN ONGOING DUE TO THEIR REFUSAL TO CLOSE THE ORIGINAL ACCT & START A NEW ACCT BASED ON THE NEW UNIT NUMBER. I have no contract to refer to

      I started renting from US Storage Centers in *************** on February 14th 2025 at a rate of $68 plus there mandatory insurance rate. I received an email from this facility on or about 5/28/2025, informing me of a 30 day notice of a $140 a month rent increase starting 7/1/2025. Their reasoning for this massive increase is for maintenance on the facility, etc. I haven't even been renting there for more than 4 months. Isn't this considered price gouging? In my opinion it is.

      Misleading Pricing Practices and Unjustified Rent Increase at US Storage Centers - *********, ** I am filing a formal complaint regarding US Storage Centers located at ********************************************************************************. I entered into a rental agreement with this facility on February 27, 2025, for a storage unit at a monthly rate of $25.00. Less than three months later, I received notice via email on May 27, 2025, that my monthly rent would be increasing to $134.00, effective July 1, 2025a more than 430% increase.The explanation given was that the rate was adjusted to reflect fair market value, yet the companys own website still advertises similar-sized units for $25$40, consistent with my original rate.I believe this may constitute deceptive pricing practices or a bait-and-switch tactic - enticing new customers with low rates and dramatically increasing them once the customer is committed. It could also be considered retaliatory - I recently terminated my previous lease at this complex and signed a new lease for a much cheaper rate, and now just 90 days later I am informed my rate would be increasing almost 6x my original amount.This kind of conduct could be considered unethical or in violation of Tennessees Consumer Protection Act.I am requesting the following:That the original monthly rate of $25.00 be honored for a reasonable period as originally implied That appropriate authorities investigate whether this pattern affects other consumers I am prepared to escalate this complaint publicly if necessary and will also be reporting it to review platforms so other customers are aware of this business practice.Sincerely,***** ********* Unit #**** Lease #****

      The manager at US STORAGE ******** location: Bullied me, lied about me, degraded me, left a note on the system with the same lie as before. That is the issue since March. We are in May and Im on *********** took me from March 25th to April 10th to get help.After all the lies, bullying, and the manager giving the run around, he got promoted! It sucks!I should get the late fees waived do to the manager and also one month compensation.Instead, he got promoted , the sad part. Its all annotated on their system.All of the evidence is on their customer service software platform.

      I rented a space 11/29/2024 for $50.50 and added insurance for a monthly total of $66.54 Five months later, after being charged this amount each month, I went to pay my rent online and found US Storage Centers raised my rent by almost 400% completely without my knowledge. The new rent was listed as $181.00 plus insurance for a total of $207.48/mo. This is completely unethical. US Storage Centers said they sent an email, which I never received, to inform me about this rent increase. The email had gone to my junk folder so I was completely unaware of this increase until I went to pay my rent - as I had done for the prior 5 months. Additionally, I was NEVER informed that the rate I had signed up for was in any way a "special" rate. They will likely say the rent increase reflects some sort of market change (as they said when others have complained about this on ****** MANY times), but this is a lie and not consistent with the rental increases in ************ -no property rentals have gone up 400% - it is frankly absurd and predatory because people have things in these storage facilities that cannot be moved easily.There are MANY MANY clients on ****** who list the same complaint. This company is scamming customers which is completely unethical. They should be shut down.I paid the amount on the invoice online so I do not incur late fees. BUT I should be refunded the $140.94 that they arbitrarily decided to charge me. The rent escalation was not consistent with rent escalations in the area and they are willfully deceiving to their customers.

      I am submitting this complaint against US Storage due to a frustrating and costly experience:Lock Issue When signing the contract, I intended to buy a lock from US Storagestandard practicebut was told none of their locks worked. I had to purchase one elsewhere at my own cost.Inaccessible Unit On move-in day, with movers already loading my belongings, I arrived to find the facility closed and my paid-for unit locked by the facilitys own lock. I had no way to access the space I had ********* Assistance Their support line only told me to wait until the next day, which was impossible with movers on the clock and a full truck of my household items.Last-Minute Shuffle With no immediate help, I had to urgently secure another storage facility, incurring extra costs, including $250 in mover fees. This caused significant stress, lost time, and an overall chaotic move.Non-Refundable Insurance I had already purchased a non-cancellable insurance policy for this specific unit, leaving me stuck with coverage I could not even use.Refusal to Refund Despite these issues, US Storage refused to refund any fees, essentially charging me for a service they never provided.Desired Resolution I request a full refund of my rental fees and reimbursement for extra costs (including the insurance and mover fees). At a minimum, US Storage should acknowledge their failure to provide access and compensate me for the financial and emotional toll this ordeal caused.I hope the Better Business Bureau can help facilitate a fair outcome and prevent others from facing similar problems. I am prepared to provide receipts, emails, or any other supporting documentation as needed.Thank you for your attention.
