      It took 2 hours for the staff to register me. Clue #1. The starter cost was great. I stored a vehicle under cover and had a storage unit. I was on auto pay in full each month. Then they doubled the storage cost for the third month. Then the fourth month they doubled it again. The beginning of May the new manager, *****, called to ask if I was keeping my parking slot as there was no vehicle there. I said I am fully paid and on auto pay, and asked if there was some problem. She was very snippy saying some people just vacate. (now I know why. That should have been clue #2.) Because of the triple price increase on the storage unit, I let them know three weeks in advance I was vacating the storage unit by the end of the month. In the meantime someone broke the front gate and it was unsecure and wide open for three weeks. One week before the end of the month I let them know the storage unit was empty and reconfirmed I was still keeping the vehicle there. I went out of town for the weekend May 31-Jun, 2025. Monday morning, June 2, I see the email to pay. I go onto the website to pay and can't log in. I call customer service and she tries to help. Then she says oh wait, they have locked you out. They said you vacated. I explained this was an error I only vacated the storage unit and had the emails to prove that. Apparently, *****, decided I asked too many questions or something. Who knows anymore with the lack of customer service. I checked through my emails and sure enough there was a second email on June 1 to vacate saying they would take possession of my vehicle and start legal proceedings. No advance notice no explanation, nothing. I had no time to make alternative storage. I had given them three weeks notice, then was out 1 week in advance. At any point they could have informed me of their intent. What if I had gone out of town for a week or two?. I asked for the regional manager, *****, to call and never received a call.

      After nearly two years as a customer, I cannot recommend this facility? or this company. What initially appeared to be a reasonably priced storage solution quickly became a frustrating experience marked by poor management, ?unreasonable price increases, and a deteriorating facility.? The most significant problem has been with aggressive rate increases. Even more concerning is the pricing strategy. What started as competitive rates have more than doubled in less than 2 years. These increases far exceed normal inflation or market adjustments and feel predatory in nature. The company appears to use low introductory rates as bait, then systematically raise prices once customers are established? and loath to move. On the day I moved out, there was another customer moving out for the same reasons. The physical condition of the facility is disappointing and appears to be getting worse over time. The property is consistently dirty and poorly maintained. Despite multiple attempts to bring obvious problems to management's attention - issues that would be simple and inexpensive to correct - nothing has been done to improve conditions.? The elevator is problematic - sometimes it just won't start for no apparent reason; there is a step outside of the elevator and for a long time no ramp; now the ramp they left there doesn't even fit. The lighting in the facility is poor. For the rates they're now charging, customers deserve a clean, ?well-lit, well-maintained environment for their belongings.The management demonstrates a clear lack of integrity in their business practices. Beyond the billing issues and rate manipulation, they show no interest in addressing legitimate facility concerns raised by customers. This suggests a company more focused on extracting maximum revenue than providing quality service.This facility?/company operates on what appears to be a "bait and switch" model - attractive initial pricing that masks poor service? and aggressive rate increases.

      I rented a 5 x 5 for $25.50/mo., in Sept. 2024 with the first 3 months at $12.50/mo. That was just great, with my only complaint being the availability of carts and having to walk quite a ways sometimes to even find one.Then, on Feb. 1st I I go to pay my bill, only to find out they raised my rent up to $49.50/mo. without any warning in advance. I only had the $25.50 and couldn't even pay that! They wanted the whole $********, I sent them a couple of messages letting them know that I would have that money on the 24th of ***********, just before the 24th, they raised it up to over $70. Now, I only have the $49.50. US Storage Centers are not a good place to go. DO NOT go to this place to rent storage.

      Systems ********************** Knowledge of Consumer Law is Poor.Sined up for 3 months @ 50% off...as per Banner Outside in front of facility. Referred Customer also.System and Employee failed to honor advertised discount. One employee stated, " We only honor the discount if the Customer ASKS FOR IT."US ******************** FAILED TO SEND ME AN INVOICE FOR THE NEXT MONTH.I TRIED TO REGISTER ONLINE AND SYSTEM HAD ME BLOCKED. 10 TIMES UNABLE TO REGISTER AT ****** ONE ANSWERED 24 HOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLL FREE #.CALLED TODAY ON THE 11TH AND WAS TOLD THE SYSTEM SAID *INSUFFICIENT FUNDS* AND CHARGED ME $39.00.Unable to enter my card info at *********** ******************* SERVICE ARE VERY POOR AND LACK ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

      They charged me an insurance fee without notice or authorization. Even when providing proof of insurance, they did not reverse the fee. Their customer service is unhelpful and not empowered to provide any solutions. I strongly suggest that you avoid this business at all costs.

      They advertized a low price and have more than doubled the monthly fee in the past 6 months. Their website for automating credit payments failed to work. They harassed me by threatening to auction my belongings without having tried to contact me to resolve a payment issue. While the indiidual site manager seems polite and competent, the business practices are predaotry and unacceptable. A complaint is being filed with the ************************.

      Just received a 30 day notice my storage rent was being increased 464% from $33.50 a month to $155.50 a month. Terrible money gauging practices.

      This place is a pure scam! Ive been renting here for well over a year now. Theyve increased rates drastically and theyve added an unnecessary auction fee to my unit unknowingly with no date for the auction but planning for it in January but its only November. Why add a $60 auction fee to my bill with an auction date so far out? Theyll use whatever scamming tactics they can to get over at someone elses expense. Ive been trying to reach the property manager and district manager for the location Im renting at and keep getting the run around. Theyve removed a lock cut fee but havent compensated me enough for the extreme inconsistencies and inconveniences Ive encountered while storing here. Please be careful and steer clear away from this business.

      First month rent with their deal is great second month expect regular price third month price will double from original price posted from their website month four move out it only goes up every month from here . Ie imine month one was 43 I'm in month 4 and now pay 146 for a 5x10 configure. Exit or look for a place that does not sneak and price ***** you every month.

      Once my contract was up, they had a "rate increase" and my $78 per month unit went up to $172 per month! Their billing and invoicing has never been accurate from the day I made my first 3 months payment and even that was wrong. I had no choice but to pay the amount because I was already there on site moving from ******** to the area in **************. I also have a friend who has continually been billed for renters insurance each month even though she has told them to drop it because she has proved it is covered under her home owners ins now. They also seem to have problems keeping staff. The office manager is almost likely a new person every time I have visited. Not a stable environment to store anything long term!!!
