    Oliveira Pools was operating with a suspended contract license and when I asked the person who gave me a quote, *****************************, who at the time said it was his business, said yes, we are. I decided to go with this pool contractor since my neighbor recommended them and he was happy with his pool remodel. The whole experience was a nightmare. The contract I signed indicated the estimated work completion time frame would be 5 weeks, which never happened. When I reached out to ******* to express my concerns, he was very rude and informed me he was only the salesperson not the owner. The owner had retired and closed the business, but the daughter was using the company name to bid for jobs. I was then informed by the daughter, ***************************** that they were unable to complete the work due to their suspended license and expired bond and they had decided to file for bankruptcy. This was after five months from the date of the contract, $54,000 in payments were sent and my pool was only 50% complete. I write this review to warn other homeowners of this deceitful and defrauding company who are not to be trusted. They also go by other business names Pacific Island Pools and *********
