I purchased a $1,500 area rug which in a matter of days was unraveling and filling a vacuum cleaner container on low speed. A stain which should have been easy to remove cannot be removed. The company does not warranty (accessories) despite the fact it was only purchased a few weeks ago. The company is refusing to be of any assistance or provide manufacturer information. Off to Small Claims Court!Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

In the first 7 days, I gave the rug the "benefit of the doubt" that it's excessive shedding was because it was new. This was not the case. I wish I could attached pics of a shirt I was wearing covered in fibers and rug debris fro. Laying on it, or pictures of the fibers and dust balls I pick up from the rug and hardwood floor each day. I have been trying to work with Living Spaces since that 2nd or 3rd week with no success. This rug actually states on the back that you should use a broom to clean!!! I have never heard of using a broom to clean a rug. I'd attached a pic of those instructions too if I could. It also mentions using a vacuum without a brush, and I have used it on the hardwood floor setting.
This is not a quality product, especially at a $1,500 price tag.Review fromJV

I purchased a sofa 13 months ago along with a useless warranty. I submitted a claim because the couche stitching was tearing. Care free denied the claim stating it was normal wear and tear, but in reality it is a bad quality product.
I contacted Living Spaces, they did not offer any solutions stating the manufacturers warranty had expired. This was not a small purchase we made, hence ** buying the insurance. They have not been customer friendly at all.
Please don't buy from this company, don't purchase the care free plan either it's useless!Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

Most of our furniture comes with a 1yr limited manufactures warranty, in the event the guest experiences an issue outside of the manufactures warranty and they have the protection plan, we direct them to file a claim with Carefree directly. The guest has 30 days from the day of discovery to file the claim. A claim specialist will assess the reported issues and determine the outcome of the claim. Normal wear and tear are not considered defects, for that reason the claim may be denied. If the guest doesn't agree with the decision made on their claim, we encourage them to speak with a manager at Carefree.JV

I recently ordered a sectional sofa off of Livingspaces and when the product was delivered it was already broken. Upon calling the company they only gave me two options: 1) have to wait a whole month to get a replacement piece (mind you that the sofa is completely inoperable and just sitting in my apartment) or 2) Take a 20% discount on the couch that I had spent thousands for. The resale value alone is $0 since they sent me a broken couch that can't be used and now I have to wait for a replacement piece. This is not how a company should handle customer service, especially given that it was failure to perform on their part not me (the customer). In addition to the faulty product, the customer service representative hung up on me for no reason. In a circumstance like this, Livingspaces should provide a discount on the product for making the customer wait and send a replacement piece by the next day. I hope this serves the community as a warning before ever using LivingSpaces.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for the overall unpleasant experience. After review of the account, we show this is a nationwide order. Living Spaces doesn't offer next day or same day deliveries on out of area orders as the delivery process is different. We can offer a discount to keep the item as-is in the condition it was delivered in, return the item for a full refund or exchange. The guest chose exchange, XPO has to come pick up the new item, transport it to their delivery hub and then contact the guest to schedule delivery. We sincerely apologize if these details were not explained to you. We will share this feedback with upper management.Review fromLana P

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I ordered an item in July - their website said it couldn't come for 4 weeks. Okay that's fine, I understand supply chain issues right now. Well at the end of August, after the date the item was scheduled to come I reached out to Living Spaces to ask what was going on. It was only after I reached out and got sent through different levels of management that they THEN shipped my item - mid September. The item arrived at their shipping partner mid-September....then sat, and sat, and sat. I complained again and THEN the item was shipped out to me.... now we are on week 3 of me getting rescheduled for my delivery... 3 times in a row of a truck broken down, them running late and not getting to met, etc. etc. Of course, they don't tell you they aren't coming... they just don't show up and then sometime later at night you get a message saying how they're sorry but they're available to reschedule 5ish days from now. I still don't have my item on 10/10/22 - now instead of 4 weeks it's been 3 MONTHS with no end in site. Trust me, avoid this company like the plague.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

The buying experience was sub-par--the delivery of damaged furniture was unexpected. We ordered four rooms of furniture in February. Upon delivery, three pieces were damaged. I called customer service and assumed everything was understood on what needed to be replaced. Fast forward six months, and after taking off work at least eight times for delivery, they finally delivered the correct piece that was undamaged. **************** is nonexistent, and there is no way to contact the store you purchased it from, so I had to drive thirty five miles twice to speak with management. Talking with management didn't resolve the issue. Management never followed up even though I requested it from the customer service representative. Horrible experience, and I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

I bought four thousand dollars worth of furniture: sofa, chair sleeper and ottoman. After just two weeks I noticed that the fabric is already sagging, the stitching around the cording on the cushions is puckered and the seats feel gravely. I have tried to work with customer services, they sent techs out twice. These techs both agreed with me about the very poor quality of the pieces. Each time they visited they said that LS would call me. I never received any calls. I called and talked to a manager; he said this is "just customer preference" (seemed rehearsed) and they wouldn't do anything. Next, I wrote a letter, including lots of pics about the problems, to the *** of LS. I sent this as registered mail and I know it was received in the office. I received no call or acknowledgement of my letter. Wow. My experience w/LS is they give lots of nice customer service during the sale but after, they are dismissive and rude. This is a lot of money. I am 70 years old and this was to be the first quality furniture of my life. Now I'm stuck paying for this junk. DON'T BUY "CUSTOM MADE". The fabrics and workmanship are inferior. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for the overall unpleasant experience. After review of the account, we show a Tech was sent to the customers home in June, per the report the backrest pillows and cores were crunchy like plastic along with feathers coming out. He was going to repair the issues, however, the guest refused service. We sent another tech to the customer home in August and was advised the items were up to manufactures standards. We have escalated this up to our warranty manager and asked that they look further into this. Living Spaces reserves the right to try and repair the items before exploring other options, these details are displayed on our website as well as the back of the sales receipt.Review fromMike L

I purchased the reclining Capri Sofa in March. It gets limited use and has been kept under a pergola with a roof that shades it from direct sunlight and protects it from rain. The fabric covering the cushions has started to do what Living Spaces calls "fabric pilling" and it says it is to be expected with some, what I consider inferior, fabrics. Basically the covers are fuzzing and the fuzz is matting into *****. They told me this is not covered under warranty and I'll have to shave the fuzz and ball with a battery operated pill ******. The sofa frame, wicker covering and recliner function all seem to be of good quality and has held up well in the less than half year I had it. If I had known that the cushion covering material was going going to be so cheap and would fuzz and ball up and that I would have to shave it, I definitely would have kept looking for another brand of patio sofa to purchase. The denial from Living Spaces to cover this under warranty is truly disappointing. I feel a disclaimer should be presented in their product description indicating to expect "fabric pilling" on this product. If that had been presented to me, I would have had better information to use when I was evaluating different brands of patio sofas to choose from.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for the overall unpleasant experience. Pilling is a normal characteristic of the material used to produce the item and can be treated by using a battery-operated pill shaver to remedy the situation. It is important to note that pilling is not a fabric defect. Details of our terms and conditions are located on our website. Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect. I have never had this problem with ant past outdoor furniture fabrics. It just looks and feels very ugly and cheap. I think a note in your products description indicating that this type of material is used and that I should expect my patio furniture to get fuzzy with the pilling and look cheaply made within months of light use would have been nice to have when making my purchase decision. I guess you would limit sales by being upfront and honest wouldn't you? In my opinion your company knowingly and willing used an inferior material in construction, got my money and now could not care less.Review fromOscar L

My family bought a sofa set from living spaces here in the ******** back over 6 months ago. The original set had manufacturers defects and was essentially broken. We put in a claim and after months of back and forth, they finally approved to replace with a different set. We paid roughly $1900 for the set. We then went back to the store with our credit and chose a whole different set to replace the broken ones. Well, what do you know the quality and workmanship of these sofas does not reflect what they display at the showroom because this new set is also damaged and has a broken frame. At this point I reached out to their warranty department again asking for a refund since these sofas are not worth it and are broken. They denied my request for a refund and now we are stuck with a broken sofa set and down almost $2000. They deserve 0 stars for terrible customer service and even worse quality of products.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

1 starAnother "Zero Stars if I could" review here! Almost same EXACT story as a few I've read below. Bought a ~$3,500 sectional that was their "top tier" level of furniture. Also got suckered into the warranty plan (like an idiot). Here I am, less than 2 years after owning the couch and it looks and feels like I picked it up out of an alley somewhere. We don't allow the dog on it, shoes, food or drinks. We sit on it in the evenings. It has completely lost it's shape. You can't fluff the pillows back into shape. The material is like being in a cheap hotel. It's pilled and scratchy against your skin. I usually put a blanket under my legs so I don't have to feel it. The seams are pulling and it doesn't have any support left when you sit on it. Store doesn't cover it. Warranty doesn't cover it. *oss of resiliency and fabric pilling... which shouldn't occur in less than 2 years with mild usage, is not covered. Neither party will take responsibility for selling a couch that is clearly failing. I am so frustrated and they have it worked out so you can't ever get past entry level customer service. They just shut you down again and again and "close your claim". It's such a joke and I'm so sorry I wasted my money with Living Spaces. I can't shop here again on principal. I can't say I've seen a company avoid responsibility quite as much as this company has. A legitimate company would look at the pictures and admit that it has failed and take the * but keep the customer. Not *********************************************!Review fromPamela C

I would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased a sectional from Living Spaces in ****** **. It was delivered on June 11 th 2022, so I have had it for 3 months and the fabric is such poor quality that the entire sectional is covered in snags. Most of the snags I cant even figure out how it happened. I purchased the best protection plan they offer and they will not cover snags it turns out and Living Spaces says they also deny my claim. So I paid over $5000.00 and have a sectional that looks worse than any couch I have ever had. Living Spaces has absolutely no integrity apparently. I was told with the warranty plan I purchased, that I would have everything covered but between Living Spaces and ************ Free Protection Plan I have a sectional that after only 3 months is junk. I have never dealt with such horrible products and service. Beware they don't care.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for the overall unpleasant experience. After review of the photos on file, it appears the furniture fabric is pilling and is not considered a manufacture defect.
Fabric pilling is a natural occurrence with certain fabrics. Loose fibers have a natural tendency to move to the surface of the fabric, where they are subject to friction, causing them to twist together into small balls. Fibers that are still secured to the fabric are also twisted into the ball, securing the pill to the surface of the material. Pilling is a normal occurrence caused by wear and tear and does not affect the durability or functionality of the fabric. Pilling is easily removable by using a battery-operated pill shaver to remedy the situation. It is important to note that pilling is not a fabric defect.Pamela C

If you look closer you will see, it is not pilling, it is snags. If I remove them like they are pilling they will from a hole. The best I can do is try to push the threads back thru the fabric but that can cause holes also. I know what pilling is and this is most certainly not pilling. Please look closer. It is actual snags and they appear more and more daily.
