      We first met ***** when we had our bathroom remodeled 6 years ago. At the time he was working for the contractor that we hired. Since then (2018), he branched out to start his own company. We recommended numerous clients to him throughout the years. Recently, when we were in need of a licensed contractor we contacted him. We live in a 12 unit building and needed a LICENSED CONTRACTOR to do a roof inspection of our building for insurance purposes. We were running out of time and needed a report on our roof ASAP. Otherwise we risked losing our building insurance which as anyone knows would be a terrible thing to happen.. we made ***** aware of how important it was to have this done in a timely manner as well as how we needed a LICENSED CONTRACTOR. ..I repeat a LICENSED CONTRACTOR.!!!! But to my surprise ******* license has been suspended for months!!! so yes, he lied to us and accepted the job and charged us $800 for the inspection when in fact, he knew he did not even have an active license! I found this out by going to a website which gives the status of anybody's contractors license. I didn't realize that he lied to us about his license status until about 10 days after he did the inspection and I researched it on the website. Why did I research it??? Because 10 days had passed since ***** did the inspection. After he did the inspection which was on a Saturday, he said we would have the report in about two days. Well that means about Monday. Monday came and we texted him and he didn't answer our messages all day long Tuesday comes he doesn't answer our messages all day long. Needless to say we're getting worried because the deadline to get the report to the insurance company is quickly coming upon us . three weeks later, we heard from him with an apology and he agreed to refund the money. The money still has not arrived in our mailbox. He claims he sent it to the wrong ZIP Code and thats why we didnt get it yet. hes now claiming to only refund half of it
