    I wish I would have read the other complaint because my complaint is exactly the same.. sent a refund and was NEVER informed that it was non refundable.. they kept my money and became incredibly rude when I told them that they are thieves!! Go some place else!!!

    So I contacted Renew about 3 months ago. Went through the process to get bariatric surgery. Went through intake process waited for them to tell the dr approved me to have surgery. I was told there was a $300 deposit to hold the date so I gave her my card to hold the date for November 23rd or 26th I cant remember. In the mean time. I found out that I can get my surgery covered through insurance and I would not have to travel out of the country for it. So I called and asked to cancel my surgery and get my deposit back. Well I was then told that the deposit was non refundable. I explained that she never said that to me nor had I received that in writing or had a signed any contract stating that. so then she started sending me all of these thing saying it wasnt refundable and I could use it for a future date. So I told her I would not need a further date as Im getting it done through insurance. I kind of let it go, then I thought to myself. None of this was told to me until after I had given them $300. And I still had not signed a consent form to do the surgery. I just want my money back. It would be different if I had been informed of this prior to giving a deposit, or if I have plans on doing the surgery at a different time, but Im not and I was not informed properly
