1 starI suspended my account while on vacation and let Clarks know that I would call back to resume service. They took it upon themselves to reactivate the account and come out and attemp to service the property.The bill that was left was for a full service which we can tell by our security cameras did not happen mostly because our gates were all locked because we were on vacation.We immediatly called the office when we were back a few days later to inform of what had happend, they said the would take care of it.We then received a bill in the mail, we called again and said we were not paying it because we had a suspended account and did not call back to reactivate it. They said they would take care of it.Then we received a third bill, so we called again, got the same run around. Now we received a collections notice.What kind of company is this where they dont have access to the full property they charge you the full amount for a service you did not request and they take it upon themselves to reinstate your account without your permission.This is not the first time we have heard horror stories about Clarks Pest Control doing this and other shadey things to clients who have now left them.They should not be charging a client for fees when the account was suspended and not reactivated by the actual clientReview fromTanmay S

I spotted rodents in my property and called Clarke ASAP. July 19th I took the service over phone. I was told someone will come and the service agreement will be signed and charges made. 510$ was deducted from my account promptly on July 20. A kid came to my property on July 20th promised that he will place 4 traps but had only one so he placed one right away and others he will come next day. It's still Aug 2nd nobody came. I was also promised that an inspector will come and have a thorough check but then again nobody came till today i.e. Aug 2nd. There was a dead rodent in my backyard and the guy did remove it so I would say part of the service was fulfilled. Later again when I call the customer service they cancelled my recurring service charges in 3rd attempt i.e. I wasted multiple customer service folks who played tag with me. They all promised a supervisor will call me with no gaurantee on the 510$ upfront fee return. Summing up, I would say don't waste your time taking service from them. It''s empty promises and waste of time. Don't trust your hard earned money with Clarke. I am really frustratedClark Pest Control, Inc.

Clark Pest Control began rodent control services at *************************** property on July 19, 2023. At that time, our representative installed control devices and told ****** he would return with more devices the following week. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
Clark Pest Control prides itself on exceeding customer expectations in an ethical, professional, responsive, and caring manner. On 08/03/23 our manager contacted ****** to reconcile the situation. He acknowledged our lapse in service and offered a detailed plan of how we could continue rodent control measures. ****** declined our offer. He had already hired another pest control service. Our manager agreed to remove half of the $510 ****** was charged.We sincerely apologize for the frustration this experience caused our customer.

If you want to get charged for a service you didn't receive, work with Clark. I cancelled my service and 2 weeks later they charged me again and at a rate 25% higher than they've ever charged me in the past. I called about it and they said a supervisor would need to call me back. They never called. This cycle repeated itself 5 more times and I had to threaten them with bad reviews online and disputing the charges with my credit card to get someone to call me back. They called and assured me I would get a refunded. 4 weeks later, still no refund.Clark Pest Control, Inc.

Clark Pest Control has provided recurring services at ************* property since 2016. During those seven years ************ has seen price increases in line with rising operating costs. Most recently, in April 2023, an 8% increase was applied to ************** account. On 05/30/23, our service technician was unable to access the entire treatment area of ************** property because a lock designated for our use had been removed from a gate. Our technician treated all accessible areas and left documentation stating that we would return at no additional cost upon access being provided. On 05/31/23, ************ called our office to say that he had previously spoken with one of our representatives and had asked them to stop his service and requested the charge for the last service be removed. We have no record of ************ requesting to stop his service prior to 05/31/23.
Between 05/31/23 and 07/10/23 ************ called our office several times requesting to speak with a supervisor about his frustration over his account not being stopped and still having not received a refund. According to our records it appears that we failed to respond to ************** requests in a timely manner, leading to further frustration. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

On 07/10/23 our supervisor spoke with ************ and confirmed that his service had been stopped and that a refund request was submitted. **************** lied: I specifically asked if they would move appliances and if they would go underneath the trailer to inspect for rat incursion when they came out. Answer was unequivocally yes. Technician arrived, very nice man who promptly informed me they are not allowed to do either of those because of liability. I fired the previous company because Clark said they would do what I needed them to do. Now I'm left with no where to turn, The previous company was doing to do much that Clark's was unable or unwilling to do. Very poor customer service.Clark Pest Control, Inc.

On 06/28/23, ************************* called Clark Pest Control and requested rodent control services. Our phone sales representative was able to assist **** and offered a quote for our ****************** which includes rodent control, and scheduled it for the following day. Our sales representative also discussed the option of additional services for repair of areas that could be entry points for rodents around the structure. On 06/29/23 our service technician arrived to begin the service and upon inspection determined that they were unable to safely complete elements of the service quoted to **** over the phone. This understandably caused much frustration for ****, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by our miscommunication.
Clark Pest Control absolutely does perform rodent control, in fact, it is an aspect of our operations we invest heavily in. Our services often involve entering subareas and occasionally interiors of homes, where moving appliances may be necessary for inspection and control. Clark Pest Control prides itself on exceeding customer expectations in an ethical, professional,responsive, and caring manner. One way we demonstrate that care is carefully assessing each situation and doing everything we can to solve pest issues without causing damage to our customers property. In this case,our service technician determined that they could not move appliances inside ****'s home without risking damage.In support of our goal to exceed client expectations we acknowledge the gap in our process revealed by ****'s ordeal. Entering subareas is something that Clark's technicians are able and expected to do when it can be done safely. Our ***************** Managers have taken action and are providing additional field representative training on how to safely enter subareas so that future customer experiences like ****'s can be avoided.

1 starThey failed to do the job they were hired to do.I called and tried to settle friendly, they charged me for full visit and added $150 to total $345. For one visit.I hired them for rats problem the tech showed up late and forgot the traps at the office and sprayed for spiders as he said, the whole house and backyard was full of spiders after his visit.They are bullying me and sent me to collections.Review fromDana S

Words to the wise, for two years I paid $150+/mo to have our property sprayed for insects. I know that's at least double price. The original guy who serviced our account gave us such good customer service I was willing to overpay for essentially 2 structures on the property - a small house and a workshop. Once the original guy left the company they gave us another, but things were never the same. This past summer ******* of 2022) we had a rodent problem and Clark Pest Control out of Lodi sent out a "specialist" to essentially sell us a construction list; Saying we had 18 openings where rodents were getting in. Every week, on their own volition, they continued to send a tech out to check traps they laid previously, some of which were never even set. After 5 weeks of this nonsense. On Aug 15, I canceled Clark ************ in favor of *****. ***** successfully eradicated the pest(s) within 30 days. Today I received an invoice from Clark for $75 for service allegedly dated Aug 18. I called to dispute and was told it was irrefutable.Naturally, I paid, as it's not worth tarnishing my credit for $75. It appears they became accustomed to my overpaying and thought they'd give me one last insult before walking away.I dont usually say never. But unless they grow some ethics, I can honestly say, I will never give Clark another dime. Beware.Clark Pest Control, Inc.

Clark performed our professional trapping program per the ******* agreement signed by the customer. The root-cause of the customers rodent problem were the holes, voids and gaps in their building. Clark provided a Rodent Exclusion Inspection to determine how the rodents were gaining access to the home as a part of our ************************** (IPM) Program. The customer declined to have the work done to solve the problem. The customer was only charged for the *******s rendered. They were billed monthly for their alternate monthly *******. The charge in October was applied towards the August ******* invoice, based on their billing schedule.Clark Pest Control prides itself on exceeding expectations in an ethical, professional, responsive, and caring manner. 1 starIve been using Clark Pest Control for four . They have since Covid gone through multiple employees and service has gone down. I spoke with a manager on *********************************** not to keep their service. He would not help me with the bill that was owed Instead told me he could take a late fee off of my account. The bill is only for $114 with the late fee its 119. The end result was I asked for a copy of the final bill to be mailed to me. Please discontinue our services. I then travel the following week. Which is when I began to get phone calls from the Lodi Clark Pest Control. Claiming they were going to send me to collections and put a **** on my credit. If my bill wasnt paid by end of business day October 4. I again explain to the lady that I had been in full contact with the **** Clark pest control. Was waiting on the bill. No I need to pay it and it will be paid in a timely manner. I have a message from the 29th 30th 31st third fourth from Clark Pest Control every day telling me theyre going to send me to collections. That is a total form of harassment. Company should not be able to call you like that especially if you are in compliance with them and have notated records that you are working with the company. Again this is it for $1000 bill this is for 100 bucks. I believe since Covid. I then made my complaints to the ********************* Clark Pest Control and the little girl ***** at the front desk claim that it is perfectly legal that Clark Pest Control call me every day, during business hours. Until I pay my bill. Although I have till the end of October to really be sent to collections. How is that not a form of harassment towards people? This is bad business and its not OK you should not be allowed to call somebody every single day and harass them for a bill they know about especially when you can read it in my notes.Review fromMiss C

They are a scam and have horrible customer service on the phone line. I had a contract for one year and called the line back in Jnauary to ask how do I need to cancel the services once the contract ended... do I need to write it in do i call is there an online option. The rep told me "No i will notate the account, you dont need to call back "Well , needless to say after the year is up I did get a rep coming to my house to my surprise. I wasnt even home , so my guest who was at home with my son answered the door and had no idea what was going on. He took this as an okay to perform services. When she told me someone came i immediately called the company who told me no your services were never cancelled. And that they'll contact a supervisor for me" I need it cancelled now. Its so ridiculous theyre using predatory auto billing , seriously who does that anymore ? Every company allows for cancelling and easy access to it and upfront. Didnt the banks all suffer lawsuits for this type of predatory lending?Anyways I read my agreement and it says cancellation needs to be done in writing. Why didnt a rep tell me when I initially called. There is no address provided to contact. Im writing here to warn others do not use clark pest control!Clark Pest Control, Inc.

When we received notification of stop request in January 2022, a notation was placed on the account to not service after 7/31/22. That date of 7/31/22 was used as the one-year agreement, which was signed by both parties. August 2022 was when the account would have been eligible to stop. The last service in July was still considered under the one-year agreement terms. The customer did send a letter asking as to why we serviced their property in July, stating it should have been stopped. Our manager contacted the customer on July 29th to confirm that the account was stopped as of July 29th. They reviewed the one-year agreement that started in August 2021 and was now ending after the July 2022 service. Customer understood those arrangements. As a courtesy, a refund was issued to the customer for their full-service price for July 2022.
