    ******* ****** of The Joshua Construction Company made a bid on some renovation flooring work for my business. Upon receiveing the intial quote of $7202.50, we agreed to have the work done by Joshua Construction. After accepting the quote, ******* changed his mind and said the quote is not correct and will be much higher. After a few days, he called me directly and explained he is NO LONGER interested in performing the job he quoted me for. I agreed and asked him to return the check that was sent which he said he would. After a few days I requested again to return the check that was sent to his office but those messages went unanswered. Then I found out that he cashed the checked of $7202.50 at his bank the day after he told me he would no longer accept the job. When I questioned him about this, he never responded until a week later stating he would return the funds few weeks later. When that date came, he never returned the funds....so basically, he cashed a check for work HE DID NOT PERFORM and refuses to pay it back. Obviously, I'm upset and out of $7202.50 now so I wanted to file this complaint so this situation doesn't happen to other people seeking his work. Dishonest, no moral values, and a liar is not a good combination to run a business and people should be aware this happened. Thank you and best regards.
