    Moving company refuses to pay for damages and refuses to provide insurance carriers name and phone number. They advertise that they are licensed and insured.

    I am filing on behalf of my senior Mother, *********************. This is the ** company with many DBA's under it. She contracted with them to move her belongings from *******, ** to ************, **. When picking up her items they dropped multiple pieces, including a safe. During this time they also drove over and busted her sprinkler system and main sprinkler head, causing nearly $1,000 worth of damage. She had this fixed and sent them the bill to which they never paid.About 4 months passed and her items were in storage. Upon delivery in Jan. 2023 they demanded payment in full and cash only. She paid via personal check prior and all the emails/contract state payment via personal check was OK. She refused to pay in cash only and deducted the money from the damage they caused upon pick up. My Mother is in her late 70's and they were screaming at her for the money. The Police were called as they threatened to take her belongings back with them until paid in cash and she didn't deduct the damages. Long story short the police stepped in and she paid via check and deducting the damages.They proceeded to unload and dropped multiple items, including the safe again. They were asked for a claims form but my Mother was told they didn't have one. For 3+ weeks we have tried to reach them, to no avail as they never returned the calls. Finally, yesterday 1/31/22, I made contact with them and they are REFUSING to send a claims form for the broken items. They tell you to contact multiple people, supposedly via direct cell phone but when they answer it is someone else - it's all a game. They state that we have to email them with an explanation as to why we feel we deserve a claim and send pictures. Then they will decide IF the damages meet their criteria for a claim - they will not state what the criteria is. They state some damage is to be expected when moving. Only severe damage would be considered. My Mom has been verbally abused, harassed and financially taken advantage of by them.

    The person's name *** reached out to me from this company as I was looking for movers for relocating from ***********************. He told me that he will charge $600. I transferred him $500 on 12/12/2022 through chase online with****** and I transferred him $100 on 12/13/22. Transaction was through ***** debit card.

    I hired ************ *************************** company. They gave me quote about **** or so on 1st attempt. Before 3 days of move they had a call with me to review items sand the quote went to ***** The main issue is that when movers came to pick up the stuff, they told me that they need to use small truck for delivery hence i need to pay extra **** which was not never communicated. I was forced to sign the contract of additional **** as they told me that they will go away without pick up and I did not have any choice left as I have to handover house to property manager according to plan. After they picked up the stuff. there was no update for 20 calendar days. When I raised this issue when I got a call fro delivery, I was told that if you do not pay **** extra, they will not deliver the stuff and put the stuff in storage and additional delivery charge of ***** will be charged. I am not left with any choice to pay as I am living in house without my stuff and i can not waste my off the work which I just started. I need to have ************* compensate for my stress and additional $940 being asked which was never agreed *******************
