BEWARE: "30 day risk free trial" means they charge you first, then make you chat through a lengthy sales pitch with an agent to cancel, then tell you you have already been charged and cannot just cancel a "free" trial. The only way to see their actual product is through the trial. They do NOT carry all the brands they claim to carry (the only reason I tried this). Forget about getting an email confirmation from them that the cancelation has been initiated. Hoping this doesn't turn into a fraud case. Never, ever use this company. One star is too muchThrive Market, Inc.

They try everything to stop you from cancelling your membership. Be sure to follow up if you do cancel over the phone as they did not follow through. I then went through their online "Chat" (there is no "check box" option to cancel) and was put through 15 minutes of begging me to stay before they finally agreed to cancel. However, you cannot remove your credit card information from their site. I do not trust them and will be sending a request for the removal of all of my information (INCDPA and CCPA). The email address to send the request to is datarequests@thrivemarket. com if you live in a state with a ************* Protection Act.Thrive Market, Inc.

Awful customer service experience. I wanted to cancel my membership and they wouldn't take no for an answer. You have to talk to a customer service agent to cancel, ********************** was a huge red flag. I won't renew with them again after this experience.Thrive Market, Inc.

Thrive Market is not a company I would recommend. They force you to get a membership before you can even see what they offer in their marketplace. They word it in a way that makes you think its just a pre authorization and that you can cancel/decline later on after youve done shopping, but that is not how it is. After contacting customer service immediately , they refuse to refund the monthly charge. This is unethical! I will dispute with my credit card company. Customers BEWARE.Thrive Market, Inc.

Agree with other reviews. Impossible to cancel membership unless you chat live with someone, and even then you can say over and over again you would like to cancel your membership and they won't allow you to. Instead, they just offer you deals over and over again to have you stay. Someone should look into this process because it seems highly unethical.Also, most of the information about the site is hidden. Food items, added fees, and so on. Not competitive prices and the majority of the food doesn't even taste good.Thrive Market, Inc.

Holy Christmas! Just tried to cancel my membership and it was like pulling teeth. I had tried them once before a few years ago and hoped things had changed. A leopard definitely doesnt change its spots. If a company is so desperate to keep people that it keeps offering these ridiculous memberships to keep their customers when they try to cancel kind of makes you wonder why. This is a SCAM! There is no trial membership, they will take your money and leave you trying to cancel your membership on some chat with god knows who. I signed up against my better judgement because you cant see any products or details until you do (first RED flag) tried to cancel in the same day and of course, you have to talk to them (second RED flag). I knew right then to cancel and run. Took me 20 minutes in a chat for them to tell me I will have to wait until the take my money after the 30 day trial to cancel the membership and then they will refund the money. A complete SCAM. This should be totally ILLEGAL!Thrive Market, Inc.

Very disappointed in Thrive Market. You have to create an account and pay a membership to even see the products they carry. Once I realized they sold absolutely no fresh produce I decided to cancel my membership. Canceling my membership was a ridiculous process. You have to chat with their 24/7 chat service and I had to say Cancel my membership and threaten to leave a negative review 4 times before they finally agreed to cancel it. Canceling a membership should never be this difficult. And its just ridiculous that you have to pay $60 for a membership before you can even see the products they are offering.Thrive Market, Inc.
