    I have been a customer for several years. The last year has been a joke with nonstop issues and no resolution in sight. I order my son's milk from Thrive and every single order has an issue. The package goes missing, arrives smashed or damaged due to poor packaging, leaking or moldy. Unacceptable. This is FOOD/DRINKS. It should never arrive this way. Each time you try to speak to management you are given a $5 credit and replacement order is sent. Basically you start the whole process over again and your order is still missing. Overall, I don't see how this is acceptable or safe business practices knowing Food is missing for weeks on end and sitting who knows where and arriving late/or never at all.

    Don't sign up for a membership. If you ever want to cancel, they will do everything they can to keep you as a member. They have a 30 day money back guarantee. I signed up and cancelled in the same day. It took me over an hour in chat and then phone calls to cancel and I still haven't seen my refund.

    I had to repeatedly ask to have my membership cancelled. I was charged for another year of membership when I did not request it. This is a deceptive practice and goes on with other companies and should be illegal.

    Questionable methods of getting and keeping membership fees. They hide behind the fine print but present there are no worries in their sales funnel. Very misleading.

    I worked for Thrive Market and they are as dishonest with their employees as they are their customers. I would not recommend joining because I know for a fact that they are overpriced and you can shop locally for less. Plus they auto renew your membership and trying to cancel is almost impossible. They have also recently made it to where you can't even read their reviews on *********

    Predatory practices when attempting to cancel your membership.This company has decent sales and CAN provide value if you actually take advantage of sales. However, if you already have a good grocery store where you make your normal purchases, then this service is likely just another membership you will never use. My review is not knocking Thrive Market for their prices or their product selection. The 1 star rating is entirely due to their predatory member retention practices. An online membership service that can be signed up to easily through their website, should have an equally easy method to cancel said membership. That is not the case for Thrive Market. They have decided to use the same tactics that the ever-hated cable companies use, which is to force members to either get on the phone or use website chat to cancel your membership. I would not have an issue with this if when you requested to cancel your membership it was not met with endless sales pitches and added friction, but that is exactly what Thrive Market does. Thrive Market should make their cancellation process frictionless and not prey on people forgetting they have a membership until a $60 charge pops up on their credit card statement.

    Prices are not competitive and I haven't been able to cancel my membership when I tried. It should not be this hard to get a membership cancelled and on top of that be an auto renewal membership of $65+. I will block the charge on my credit card because I can't get a person to talk to!

    When purchasing an item, it was not clear anywhere at that time that an automatic draft for $59.95 would be for a membership. I did not want a membership. It was probably disclosed in a very small fine print somewhere. I do not like these hidden agendas. I had to dispute with my bank and cancel my credit card.I think they should be truthful up front in larger print the terms of their membership!

    I was reasonably happy with the service until I realized the prices were not as competitive as I had thought. The cancellation process is excessively difficult. You have to spend 10 minutes chatting with a representative and receiving one marketing offer after another. Very unsatisfactory.
