1 staronly reason for the 1 start given is for the leasing agent who was helping me because she was great. It all went downhill after I was " approved" after submitting all documents giving a holding deposit. After having to call and follow up on the status of my application showing it was waiting for property approval, and I was told that I was not approved due to my cosigner not having proper rental history. This was after we were emailed for lower rent if agreeing to work as a security on the grounds 3 days a week, monitoring vacant units, walking around the complex and also spending time out-front to show presence. Once the " Offer Letter" was denied then all of a sudden, we were denied. So, because we did not accept the offer, we were no longer on being approved. I believe shady business was going on and glad we skipped out going with this complex. Things always happen for a reason especially seeing these horrible reviews. Just confirmation that I was not supposed to be there!!Review fromShakira W

1 starI just moved into this complex from ** in March. Since I have been here I have had issues with neighbors and rodent and bus problems. Recently I was accused of stealing my own package and the cops were called on me and sent to my apartment. The complex never contacted me in regard to the matter and just sent the police directly to my door. They dont care nor do they uphold the policy's they pretend to have. Ppl throw garbage and pile it in the trash rooms, laundry rooms are dirty and most of the time dont work. They are very small and compact and the apartment layout needs an upgrade. A lot of things were wrong with my apartment when I moved in, lights not working, microwave cracked the list goes on. Neighbors blast music all times of the day , dogs barking early in the morning, everyone has a dog they pee in the elevator. Overall experience after 3 months of living here, horrible waiting for my lease to be up to I cant get the f*** out of here!Review fromBrittney J

1 starI lived in this aparment complex from October 2022 to October 2023. The apartment itself is beautiful however, the management and property management need some some serious work. The month before I moved out, my rent was late. The late fee for being even one day late is $200. I was charged this amount in September 2023 as well as October 2023, there was a total of $400 in late fees on my account. As I was moving out, I was given an eviction notice due to not paying late fees. I did not recieve a copy of the formal complaint, and because I did not show up to court I lost the judgment. There is now an eviction on my record, even though technically I was not evicted. When I lived there, you could never reach anyone. I was charged $700 a month for a heating bill when my heat never worked, and when I called to have it fixed, I had to put in a request 3 separate times before someone actually came. When they did come, they "fixed it" but the heat still didnt work. There was dog p*** and trash in all of the public areas. There was drug paraphanelia in the staircases. There were electrical wires hanging down in the parking lot. The hot water heaters stopped working at least once a month if not more. The city also had a lawsuit against the complex due to unsafe conditions. My packages were stolen - they wouldn't accept responsibility and blamed it on the delivery driver, even though there was a photo of my packages in front of the package room which didnt have a working ********* forward to 2025, I am looking to move into a new apartment and realized that I will have trouble getting approved anywhere due to the eviction. I am not able to access a copy of my move out statement, which would show I was only "evicted" because I did not pay the ridiculous late fees. I've called the office and they cannot help me because now they are with a new property management company. Of ********* not move here.Review fromChimwemwe M

1 starThe building is lived in was not up to code. My bedroom wall leaked when it rained and maintenance would not fix it. The windows did the same and they charged me $3k after I moved out for damage the rained caused. The staff is passive aggressively unprofessional and have theiving habits as the non of the security cameras on site work. The city had cited building 3 twice when I lived there.Review fromAlice M

1 starThe ceiling started leaking water. It took days for maintenance to come out. Maintenance said they fixed it. The woman in the apartment above me said they did not do anything just came in looked and walked out. The ceiling continued to leak and eventually collapsed. There was black mold everywhere. After moving out they sent me to collections for $13,000Review fromPortia R

1 starRun from this place! I spoke with a manager named ****** a total of ten times before applying for an apartment yesterday and after she started ducking my call. I went online to check the application status and to my surprise my 8/5/25 move in date was changed to 9/1/25. I called and was told b my the ****** ***** that the apartment wont be ready until 9/1 which is past my section 8 deadline that I told ****** of. This woman clearly wanted my to lose my section 8 and I dont even know this witch. I wish the worst on ****** her family and her children since she wants a person she never meet homeless.Review fromKyle W

1 starRoaches. Place hasn't been touched n since 1970. Disgusting. The pictures online are a total lie. Second day I moved in i almost died in a fire. Lost everything. So they kicked me to the curb homeless the let me come back into a smaller disgusting apartment blood all over the carpets and made me pay the same price. Now they making me pay 3 months rent to leave. Place smells like a sewer. Gangs run the place. Worst place I've ever been. Do not move hereReview fromLanell M

1 starcurrently live in the apartment complex with appliances that dont work Oven malfunctions when trying to bake and use the stove top at the same time. Maintenance was notified and nothing was done.Dishwasher doesnt dry dishes and I was told that theres nothing wrong with it and if it is replaced the replacement will operate the same as what I have so theres no point in replacing it.****dishwasher dried the dishes initially and now it doesnt******Im a disabled veteran with disabled veterans license plate and had my vehicle towed from the parking lot with valid parking sticker provided. I parked my vehicle in the future resident parking spot across from my building because no other parking was available. Again Im a disabled veteran and it was after normal working hours. As a result my vehicle was towed and I was forced to pay 175$ to get my vehicle. No where is there any documentation provided stating your vehicle will be towed from the parking lot with an actual parking permit provided by office staff. Also the tow away zone sign in the front of the building shows a green parking permit for parking lot parking but there is no green parking permit provided. I received two blue parking passes initially and was today given two red placards as shown in pictures provided. I have provided a copy of the towing company receipt showing my vehicle has a parking permit. Currently I have affixed both parking stickers on my vehicle, hopefully my vehicle wont be towed from my place of residence anymore. A friendly email is much more customer friendly towards actual residents vice towing a residents vehicle who has a parking permit and is a disabled veteran. In addition my windows have mold at the base due to water leaks every time it rains. Also the unit doesnt have adequate lighting, and the dryer looks as if it were purchased from a garage sell. The window screens have holes all throughout apartment. I would like to terminate my lease and move out if possible.Review from21andCo L

1 starI lived at The Residences on ******* from 2019 to 2021. My experience was severely negative due to rodent infestation, broken building infrastructure, unsafe conditions, and eventually, a fraudulent credit hit.I vacated the unit after mice took over including in bedrooms. I have documented photos, videos, and PTSD from the trauma. Despite submitting multiple maintenance requests, the leasing office never resolved it. I was told during my walk-through that the unit was clean and passed. I left it in great condition.Weeks later, they kept my entire security deposit and sent an unexplained debt to *********************, which posted a derogatory **** on my credit report. I received no invoice, no itemization, no communication just the hit to my credit. I've disputed this several times and been told to provide proof, but I never received anything from the management to even dispute.Ive tried to resolve this privately, but the office refuses to return calls or emails. Im requesting this business remove the false charge from collections. If not, I will pursue legal ********* complaint is fully documented, with photos and video. This has negatively affected my mental health, credit, and ability to lease elsewhere.I urge others to research thoroughly before leasing here. Many other tenants have had similar issues, and I have encountered residents with rat infestations and similar experiences.
