On first days of March 2024, I bough a lift from this company through Home Depot at an already inflated price that was "discounted" at the time of purchase. For the installation I required an extra hose that I bought directly from Max Jax web page around mid March, the product I received is clearly used with rests of thread locker on one end and wrapped in plastic paper instead of zip ties, when time came to use it realized the impossibility to do so at which point I contacted the company to arrange for a refund as nowhere in their web site is a link to refund products. I had an arrangement with Martin, a supervisor who have helped me before with questions about the lift functions, our arrangement was to return the unused hose with a 5% restocking fee and I will send the hose with the threads cleaned, this was because Max Jax wants to charge 20 percent restocking fee!!...in a hose they sent used in the first place which is unacceptable to me, especially after having expended almost 4K in their lift, I am not willing to part with almost $50.00 out of my money as the price paid for the hose is $174.00 and Max Jax wants to refund only $128.00 back to my card. I can't stand thieves; their Chinese parts are already super overpriced and on top they try to rob customers even more by claiming bogus restocking fees on unused returns on an already used product? Part of my agreement with Marty was I would cover the shipping charge. I am sending their hose back same way they sent it and now I am requiring and stick with full price return. In the web site section shipping and delivery at the end of the page is the return policy very well hidden from customers views, only after they told me about the fee I looked for it; would have never bought the overpriced hose if I knew of these issues in the first place! This supervisor have been ignoring me trying to contact him asking about when they would provide an RMA for me to send back their products. Requesting FULL refund.
