We are writing on behalf of our small businesses that we represent in our community. The fees that have been increased in the past year from your company have been exorbitant and detrimental to the businesses that YOU are supposed to be supporting. These are the same businesses that Intuit based their platform on.We understand that inflation and the job market have caused some increases, but to raise them an unreasonable amount is ridiculous. In 2022, the annual cost of QuickBooks Accountant Desktop Plus was $920.10, it went up 35% to $1,245.23, then ANOTHER 30% increase to $1,624.55 for the 2024 version. According to the email sent June 10, 2024, this same subscription is going to be $2,449 (BEFORE TAXES). This equates to at least a 50% increase in this subscription within ONE year. This is a 166% increase from 2022 to the 2025 version. That is outrageous!! If you all needed the money to pay for the Olympic sponsorship, take it from the top, not the small businesses at the bottom! The cost to direct deposit employees paychecks in 2022 was $1.75 per direct deposit. In January of 2024, that cost skyrocketed from $1.75 to $4.00 per direct deposit! Thats an increase of 128%!! Before weve even had a chance to recoup, you are now raising the rate to $5.00 per direct deposit! When a small construction company pays their employees weekly (which is normal for this occupation), that raise is excessive!Pair all this frustration with the fact that you need a software engineer to FIND the 2024 subscription within our Intuit account, it is too much. After seeing that Intuit laid off ***** employees within the last month, the only reason for these STEEP prices is greed.I certainly hope you will forward this message up the chain to someone that can hear our pleas and can do something about this horrible strategy that your company has initiated.

On July 26, 2024, I received an email from QuickBooks, linked to QuickBooks Checking through *************** stating that my ** checking account had been closed. Upon contacting ** and being transferred to representatives based in *****, I was informed that the closure was due to suspicious activity and that my access to business funds was restricted. I received no clarification as to why my funds were inaccessible or how to transfer them to a new ** checking account. The proposed solution was to mail me a check, which would take 14 days to arrive. Operating my business without funds is not feasible. The responses from the ** representative in ***** were impersonal and abrupt. This situation feels like outright fraud by QuickBooks, as they retain my funds for 14 days without any resolution.

Not only does QuickBooks charge exorbitant processing fees, but they also withhold funds and lack a direct contact for their collections department. A client of mine had an ACH transaction bounce, and I have been trying to resolve this issue for the past 10 days. Representatives at QuickBooks keep promising a callback within ***** hours, but I have yet to hear back. They withheld my deposits and offset them after promising that collections would call me back to set up a payment arrangement. Their employees are incompetent, providing misinformation and failing to follow through on callbacks. Once this matter is resolved, I will be leaving QuickBooks.

Intuit Quicken has the most incompetent support people and a very flaky product. Had to update my **** of America connection and it wouldn't download current transactions, so I had to go in and clear the transactions manually. Then, it would not Reconcile. I matched every single transaction from before the last time I reconciled to the present between the register and the bank and it was still off >$2500.00. All the transactions in my register have cleared the bank, so my current balance at the bank should match the balance in the register. The agent was no help. Kept saying there was an error in the transactions. Can't do anything until you have your ending balance from the bank. I have multiple spread sheets where I've matched transaction by transaction. This is crazy!

We signed up for Quickbooks Online in *****, because we were told that Quickbooks desktop would not be supported any longer. ***** was a very busy month, and given no notice of this change, we were not able to enter March paychecks. It is now July 23, three months after we signed up and I still haven't been able to get the backend support to fix and enter our data despite many downloads of the information to them, and many new tickets to begin a new correction ticket. This seems very unreasonable to make a customer wait 3 months to have their data entered into the new system. I always reach someone and spend many hours on the phone, but they are only the representatives, and do not actually fix the problem.

I own a small business. I signed up for Quickbooks at the end of May 2024. I had an appointment on July 1, 2024 with a professional to help me pay my state revenue taxes. When I tried to login to my account, it said Access Denied. When I spoke to customer service on the phone, they tried resetting the password which didnt work. They had me try to login on different devices and different browsers. Then they said they needed to upgrade my account to help troubleshoot but that they would cancel it immediately. After upgrading it still didnt work. No answers could be provided as to why my account was locked. No notification was received by Quickbooks as to why the account was locked by email or text. I checked my credit card and found they had charged me for the plan that they said was required for troubleshooting. They had not cancelled it as they had said they would do. I then had to call back and spend another hour on the phone fighting to get my entire subscription cancelled and refunded. All of my data that I spent time inputting has been lost. Quickbooks has cost me time and money and as a small business wasted resources I needed.

Third year I used Turbo Tax software to file. My situation is not complicated. For 2023, however, I needed to file in two states because of a change my employer made. I was confused and made multiple calls to their 'experts' to guide me. In the end, because I filed myself and despite the fact that I was guided by their 'experts', No assistance was given when it came time to correct the erroneously filed returns. Both state returns were 'accepted'. So now I've paid them several hundred dollars for the use of their software and returns that were filed incorrectly. AND I have to attempt to file amended returns. They are offering no assistance nor any refunds. I'll never use Turbo Tax again. And I will gladly share my awful experience every chance I get.

On March 20,2024. I was online looking for a hopefully great place to file my taxes this year so it ending up TurboTax the deal was only for $139.00 to get help.or free on your own. So bottom line is TurboTax sent my $1,760.00 to Pathwards. They took out $1,139.00. So I waited four months for my return oh yeah and the state added around $200.00 dollars more on the return. Furthermore, when I finally got my check in **** 25,2024. Okay, so meanwhile they were only going to take $139.00 out of my return which was for filing with a tax preparer that has been there for more than 15 years. I received and the return said $551.00. Now I have to move out my place for not enough in my return. Plus,I did not recieve a CP12 From the *** to tell me about the deduction. With out leaving things out I wish they would not have done that it cost me to be on the streets. TurboTax is not worth. Manipulated..

I made a tax payment within their website on 11/20/23 and they debited our account however have never paid it to the tax agency. I have called in and you can't speak to a direct person. You have to submit emails - I send in emails and get the run around talking about the other tax service I don't have but won't address the issue of the tax payment they debited from us and never paid. Still to this day 7/6/24 have not paid it or refunded it. WORST customer service ever. I am now shopping for a new accounting/payroll software as I am DONE!
