Terrible tax prep program that seems to get worse each year. I think they purposefully make it impossible to make changes to a return that hasn't been filed so they can get you to buy another version for the same year. This is the last year for you, Turbotax!

Wasted 3 hours for them to tell me they don't know and I need to figure out on my own and still forcing me to pay. When I reach out and say hey I spent a ton of time inputting stuff here, can I access to go to H&R block then disconnect without saying anything. I don't know what happened to Turbotax this year.

I would give them less than his one star, but I cannot figure out how to do that. The *** issued a refund for me to this business on February 8. I still have not received my refund, I have tried for a month solid to get a hold of a live person, and I have no success. They gave me a number that said it would call me back and as soon as he called me back, it hung up on me. I cannot get any assistance whatsoever. I need help and I dont know how to get it.

As I began my search for a trustworthy tax filing service, I couldn't help but stumble upon Intuit TurboTax, a popular tax software provider. While it's widely recognized, I've discovered several alarming issues that I believe prospective users should be aware of before making their decision. To begin with, Intuit has been known to lobby politicians to prevent the creation of a free, government-run tax filing system in *****************. This is a ***** contrast to the tax filing process in most other first-world countries, where citizens can file their taxes directly on government websites, without cost. It's clear that Intuit's primary concern is preserving its profits rather than providing a service that benefits the ******** public.Furthermore, TurboTax advertises its "free" tax filing service, which, in reality, is anything but. The platform is designed with dark patterns, making it nearly impossible for the average ******** to navigate the system and file their taxes without eventually being pushed towards paid options. This misleading marketing tactic leaves users feeling cheated and frustrated. My personal experience with TurboTax was a disheartening one. After switching to a different tax filing service, I started receiving an additional $800 in tax refunds, despite my income remaining the same. This substantial difference raises concerns about the behind-the-scenes practices at Intuit and whether they have their customers' best interests at heart. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Intuit TurboTax as a reliable or ethical tax filing service. Their lobbying efforts to block free government tax filing, misleading "free" filing advertisements, and questionable business practices have left me deeply disappointed. There are better alternatives available, and I urge anyone considering TurboTax to explore other options for a more transparent and trustworthy tax filing experience.

TurboTax Online appears to be a scam. Do not use it!I usually buy a TurboTax Deluxe CD and use the desktop version. This year (2022) I decided to try using the online version so I wouldn't have to buy a physical CD and since it was advertised to be less expensive. I did my Federal+State taxes using TurboTax Deluxe Online; my total was $39. This seemed low, so I contacted support and was told the price was correct. I didn't file immediately since I wanted to make sure I had all my paperwork in order.Today I went to file my taxes and the total was now $118. This is almost a 3x price increase!I bought the 2022 TurboTax Deluxe desktop (download-only version) from Amazon and imported my data from the Online version. My total for the CD and State ****** was $81.17.I will never again trust the TurboTax Online *********** appears to be a bait-and-switch scam. I don't understand how their desktop version can be so good and their online version be a scam?

This is FRAUD . I filed my taxes and was scammed to pay f$44 for a Credit Karma or something called the a delux upgrade. I didn't even realize I was being charged for this! I tried getting a refund when I saw that extra charge but they denied me. This is clearly a scam. I'm filing a complaint with BBB. DO NOT DO TAXES WITH THIS BUSINESS.

Having been a customer for over 20 years I was very disappointed with TurboTax Premium for 2023 when the processing of a K-1 form became impossible despite speaking with 6 different support personnel for a cumulative 7 or 8 hours. They got the same result as I part of the time and a worse result the remainder of the time. The problem had nothing to do with the amount of return or what I would owe. It just provided wrong information to the *** for carryover items. The same exercise worked fine during the previous two yeas. When I asked for a refund they referred to their 60-day limit. K-1 isn't even available until around March, and I made the purchase on December 12. What good is a return policy on this type of product if it disallows things that are beyond the buyer's control after 60 days? Absurd!

TurboTax is a great and convenient way for an individual with no write offs to file taxes. Where TurboTax lacks in being consumer friendly is how they convince a consumer that filing their taxes is a free service through them then when you input all of your information, they add on services if you attempt to use a different payment method than the previous year, or they add on services you don't need or want only to be automatically subscribed to services that will charge you after the ***** period is up. TurboTax counts on consumers to not be vigilant about these extra services, subscriptions, and charges in order for the company to make money. I am not happy already having to pay to file simple taxes only to find out that I've been signed up for a subscription service I don't want. Now I have to figure out a way to get in touch with the company ID notify and cancel this service before they start charging me monthly. I don't have time for this. I did not ask for this service and I'm hoping people lobby together and either call for change or don't use intuit's Turbo Tax anymore. It was good while it lasted bit I am rethinking how I file my taxes next year.

I used Turbo Tax for 20 years. But this time I was tricked into getting refund out through Credit Karma. The scam of all scams! If you ever do get your card it will come later than if you just get the refund sent to your bank account. Once you get the card good luck trying to get your money from these scam artists. They will do everything in their ability to route you through every Indian call center. Block you in any way from receiving your money that you just give up. That is the plan. Intuit will make millions from people who do just that. They 1. loose the cards in the mail. 2. Invalidate accounts. 3. Set withdraw limits on your money. 4. ***** and deceive as much as much as possible. Millions will be made in the next 2 years by doing this. Until the Turbo Tax customer base is destroyed. What do they care they walk away with a huge payout for scamming millions of people out of their tax refunds. The *** needs to investigate these people and shut them down. NEVER WILL I do bossiness with you again. Credit Karma is a Scam deceptive company. Please Please ***, IRS, ******************* investigate these people. One day I hope they get their own KARMA.

Just My Taxes Please!!!!Intuit Turbo Tax is attaching a Credit Karma gimmick to the the end of my tax refund. I did not see any such mention before I started and got to the end where it was either file the return or close out the process. This is false advertising or misleading because I clicked on for the ************** and instead I got Turbo Tax + Credit Karma--I do not need nor requested! Now I have to unsubscribe and all that when it shouldn't have been included anyway. I think the fees I was charged includes a kickback or something because how else is the "+" added in. Buyer beware of filing taxes with Turbo Tax. Never again.Christine *********, **
