      I started using QuickBooks since the 90s. Came across a software issue where I believe the data may have been corrupted from switching a file from my bookkeepers Mac to my new *C. CASE # xxx5865036. Been dealing with their desk help for about three weeks and been getting more run around than actual help. I am at "Level 2" support and it is just so unprofessional. The first hour of tech support, about the three weeks ago, I really don't think the person, ***** knew what he was doing. He was on hold more than on the call trying to get answers on what he should try next. It got a little better from there but my original issue is still not resolved. Today is March 17th and the * and L I got to my accountant is enough for us to over pay estimated taxes, and file for an extension. It amazes me that this company wouldn't have knowledgeable support. The last experience, I had a call set up with ********* for yesterday morning at 11am ******** time. I didn't receive a call nor an email which is common if they try to call and couldn't get in touch. BTW I was at my desk for 3 hours waiting for the call in case she was caught on another. Today, exactly 25 hours after that call or any communication doesn't happen, I call to find out and the help desk guides me to contact through the help button on QuickBooks. This is really what happened -- I called the support number and after giving ****** all the info and case number, ****** guided me through my QuickBooks program to use the "help/contact us" button and I put in all my info, case number so they could call me back in 5 minutes. I received a call from ****** in about 5 minutes and once again described that ******* didn't call me at the scheduled time. He saw that in the string and said he sent her a message. This isn't the first time in the last 3 or 4 weeks I have felt like I am in the Twilight Zone. I wish there was a competitor of QuickBooks as I would love to switch after this experience.

      TurboTax is a shady software company. Started filing my taxes with TurboTax as I have done for years. When I started my taxes the premier edition was $54.00. When I finished the price was $74.00. Also found their software to be confusing this year, unlike past years.I have been using TurboTax for years. Next year I will look at alternatives. TurboTax should tell you the price upfront and lock it in.Would not recommend TurboTax.

      My client sent my **** form through a link which Im required to set up an account to see. A data grab for a legally required activity (filing taxes) is absolutely wrong. I created the stupid account and still can't get my form. This is a waste of my time to try to find for an issue that Intuit created. Should be shut down for stuff like this.

      We lost out on tax money last year that we never ever recieved like why is it and we not too have about this at all (federal)Did u guys s**** up our taxes last year?We won't be going through turbo tax again after last year not happy at all Make a bbb complaint twice

      Their software was not user friendly. Could never get real help. Repeatedly asked me to upgrade to higher product line. Can not get back into my account to print the full tax file with the back up data. Can only print what was submitted to IRS. Do not recommend that others use this program.

      Turbo taxs products are not bad, their tax filing is not bad. The people they are affiliated with are bad. Credit karma is horrible I opted for the refund advance which also sends all my refund to my credit karma account. My credit karma account was closed 10 days before I was issued my tax return was approved. So I was issued a check via sbtpg which is the organization TurboTax uses to send refunds to bank accounts or by check. The ach return was 02/24/2023 a check was issued/mailed 02/28/2023. It is now 03/14/2023 and I still have not recieved my check via **** and they are telling me in order to get a new check issued I have to fill out a indemnity bond mailed to me, mail it back and give them 11 business days to process this then another **** business days on a new check after they process the indemnity bond. So as I said TurboTax is good for taxes but let you down after you file with them.

      Deceptive practices! They automatically started me with the "Live Assisted" Deluxe or Premier when I have used the more affordable options in the past because my taxes aren't complex. I did not realize until I finished filing and was helping my partner. My partner has simple W2s and they automatically started her on a premium product too when basic would be fine. I realized that TurboTax upsold me and was trying to upsell her only after finishing her taxes. At that point to downgrade to basic, I had to delete all the work to start over with the basic package. I find TurboTax's practices deceptive that they don't give you an option of what service to use before beginning.

      TurboTax Desktop CD/DVD package bought from ****** promises upto 5 licenses. It also provides a way to download ******* or *** software. The problem is that the site (as per the included instructions to download the software) incorrectly restricts to the Operating system first chosen instead of applying limit of 5 machines or installations. There is no such limitation mentioned on the CD/DVD that you have to use all 5 licenses on one Operating System. This is being faced by multiple other customers as well - ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* I spent one hour with TurboTax online support to explain all this. The customer agent agreed that the Premier Download purchased from ****** allows 5 Federal filings and I can install the windows exe downloaded for the given license code on 5 computers. This is clearly stated on the Desktop CD box as well. Also, not everyone in the household cannot be assumed to have the same Operating System - some can choose *** while others use *******. As another licensing example, if I purchase a family subscription of **************** of 6 subscriptions - I can use that Office license on both *** and ******* machines as long as it is a total of 6. It does not force me to use 6 ******* or 6 *** machines. Similar to the ****************, the TurboTax license code should enforce and limit to only 5 installations, but should not limit to ONLY WINDOWS or ONLY MAC.While the agent agreed with all my points, they could not help me out.

      Filing wasn't difficult but at the end they steered me into placing my refund through Credit Karma. Everything about Credit Karma is a disaster. Don't believe any of their marketing.

      i WANTED THE $59 CHARGE BUT THEY DOUBLED IT AND i CAN'T GET MY MONEY BACK NOW. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND WILL NOT CORRECT ERRORS THEY MAKE.
