This car buying experience ranks right up there with one of the worst I've had in all of my car buying experiences. I had my own financing but was pressured to run my credit in order to "verify my identity." I eventually agreed for a SOFT pull on my credit to verify my identity and I made it very clear that is all I agreed to. I checked my app and Mark ********************** had actually pulled a HARD inquiry. I was livid.I told the salesperson that I was very unhappy and I refused to work with him anymore because that was VERY disingenuous. He got someone else and I worked with this other person for the remainder of the ************** say the least, I finally saw the finance manager to complete my transaction, but they made me wait an inordinate amount of time even though there was hardly anyone in the dealership. Quite honestly, **** ********************** does not even deserve the 1 star, in my opinion, due to the pressure tactics to run my credit and for outright lying to me about doing a soft pull on my credit instead of the hard pull they actually ended up doing. What the dealership should understand is the following - IF SOMEONE ENTERS YOUR ESTABLISHMENT WITH THEIR OWN FINANCING AND DOES NOT WANT TO ENTERTAIN THE NOTION OF HAVING THEIR CREDIT RUN TO SEE IF MARK ********************** CAN PROVIDE A BETTER RATE, THEN THAT SHOULD BE THE END OF THE DISCUSSION. AT THAT POINT FINALIZE THE DEAL. TAKE THE *** ON HAVING ANOTHER VEHICLE FINANCED AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER.

We purchase a lot of automobiles - three in the last two months for example, and we've had a very good rapport with the salespersons at the various dealerships from which we purchase our cars. We purchased a new ***** Bolt from Mark Christopher Auto Center the other night (Feb. 22, ****). First, the good news: The salesperson, ***, was very nice, helpful, and easy to work with. We were almost finished with the deal, and then some man whose name is ****, I believe, comes and sits at the table with us. It became immediately clear that his sole purpose was to low-ball our trade-in, and **** as much money from us that he could. He was rude and insulting, and we couldn't wait for him to get lost. In fact, we told *** that we would not move forward with the deal if "****" was involved in any way. So, since the deal was already substantially finished, we worked out a deal with *** to purchase the car. Later, when **** was walking out the door right next to the table at which we were sitting, he called my wife a "bitch." We've never encountered such a despicable and unprofessional person in any of our prior transactions. Maybe he was raised to believe it is okay to disrespect women, but we weren't brought up that way, and we were highly offended. My wife has been fighting stage 4 cancer for 4 years, and the way he treated her was extremely upsetting to her. Although we liked *** very much, we would strongly recommend against purchasing a car from Mark Christopher Auto Center. (Note: I've seen many other bad reviews for Mark Christopher Auto Center, and regarding each of them, a manager suggests that the reviewer call him so he can better understand what transpired. That's not going to fly with us. Call my wife a *****, and there is nothing more to discuss.)

Regrettably, my experience with Mark ********************** *********** particularly their ***************** was disheartening. Entrusted my vehicle on mid December, only receiving it back two weeks later, the prolonged fix time was unacceptable. Working with advisor ***** was challenging due to his lack of responsivenesshe seldom answered calls, was slow in returning messages, and provided sparse updates. Moreover, the exorbitant price for the service amplified my dissatisfaction. Their overall customer service fell short, and I cannot recommend this dealership for any automotive repairs.
