  I had heard in the past that Griffin had high prices. When I realized our new home had an expensive water softener and water heater that needed to be serviced. My first reaction was to shop around. I quickly found that Griffin was one of the only suppliers that deal with this specific brand. They came to give us a quote that very day. We had a lot of items in mind besides the heater and softener. They gave us itemized quotes. They consistently worked on prices that we were comfortable with. They never rushed us or seemed pushy. My husband also liked that a couple of the guys he had known from high school. It was important to us that they were consistently available, and even better they are local guys that grew up in the area. We purchased a monthly program that we can call them anytime to come out. So far so good and we can’t be more happy with the experience!

  Griffin plumbing is a bunch of rip-off artists. I was out of town, and they tried charging my wife $1200+ to install a $120 faucet in the kitchen sink. They are despicable and were reported to the BBB for price gouging and dishonest business practices. Warning, DO NOT use this company! I would give them a minus one-star rating if possible.

  We are sorry to hear of your displeasure in dealing with our company in August of 2019. Let me clarify the specifics of the service call at your house. We sent our drug tested, background checked, and professionally trained service technician to your home driving our "warehouse on wheels." You asked that we supply all the parts because you have had issues in the past with owner supplied material. You, not just your wife, were given options with the total cost of each option, including an option for you to supply the faucet. You chose what you wanted us to do and agreed to the cost before we did any of the work. We did the work. After the work was compete you were not happy because we charged $836 to provide, install and warranty the faucet that we provided. You wanted to negotiate the bill after we were done with the work and had left your home. I declined. I offered to refund 100% of your investment (I would remove the kitchen faucet and you would keep the emergency cut off valves and steel braided supply lines under the kitchen sink that we replace as part of this job). I sent a technician back to your home several days later and you decided to have us remove the faucet we installed and refund 100% of the $836. I will not apologize for what we charge to provide service to our customers. We have a great team of people who conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. I understand that today's world can be stressful and uncertain. I wish you and your family an abundance health and prosperity.

  They charged us $664 to clear the sewer line from the kitchen sink which just pushed the stoppage to the main line. When the main ling clogged a few days later they said the work was not guaranteed and we would have to pay $1400 to hydro flush the line. They even acknowledged that the clog could have been caused by the work to the line from the kitchen and refused to come clear the main line.
  We called another plumber, paid less than half as much, and had the main line cleared in a matter of minutes.

  We needed a local plumber here in Santa Maria to replace a very leaky, cold water faucet in our walk-in tub. First called another outfit and they were NOT responsive to us. Just "blew-us-off". Called Griffin Plumbing and they WERE responsive. Came the same day I called. Sent "S***" and he diagnosed the problem and gave us his estimate to fix it. Due to an earlier job, he was here around 4 p.m. He said it would take about an hour. even though it was "dinner time", he was very willing to stay and fix the problem. Did it with a smile and explained his work. Very happy with S*** and Griffin Plumbing and will call them FIRST next time!
