    July 2024 Valleys Best installed a New **** system in my home. The initial Condenser failed and had to be replaced. A replacement condenser unit was installed, again needed servicing ...finally the **** system worked as it should. May 1, 2025 - the New version of Valleys Best...***************************************...same address and contact, *** *....came for a 'summer maintenance' visit & checked out the **** system, replacing the inside return air filters with Undersized ones. The technician (*****) pointed out he 'thought' the Freon level was low, so he pumped More Freon into the system. 4 days later, the system stopped working. I called & asked to have a technician return to diagnose the issue, one finally arrived, took a quick look and said the compressor stopped working and the office would call to update. *** S called and said they could not get a replacement part any time soon...could take weeks. I told *** S that we will be having 105 degree temps and my husband is non-ambulatory so we need air conditioning as soon as possible. After back and forth text .....*** S stopped communicating with me....so I had to hire another **** company to install a NEW condenser unit so we could get air conditioning. 10 months ago I paid $15,000 for the new **** system...and last week I had to pay another $6,000 to get the air conditioning working. *** S told me that I had bought my system from Valleys Best...but he is @ *************************************** etc.....and that I would need Valleys Best to do the warranty....however.... it appears Valleys Best either just renamed their company...or was bought by Coachella ***** Plumbing...so I believe they should honor the warranty.....since the original purchase was only 10 months previous. I appears to me that *************************************** is trying 'escape' having to honor the original warranty. Ideally I would like to have Coachella Valley REFUND me the cost of the New Condenser unit and take back the defective condenser they originally installed.

    On January 23,2024 I discovered an underground leak in our hot water line. I called Valleys Best Plumbing and Heating who dispatched a plumber to ***** the problem. They stated there would be a $189 service fee for which I agreed. The plumber said the leak was under the slab and he would have to excavate to find it and repair. He asked for and got (via credit card) a deposit of $1000 and was to return the following day. I then called my insurance company and they said no repairs were to be done until they had a chance to assess the problem. I immediately texted Valleys Best and explained that no work could be done and asked for my deposit back. I agreed to the service charge as he did show up and look at the problem. I was told be return text that the deposit would be returned. I waited for a few days and no return was shown on my card. I wrote several texts inquiring as to when I could expect the return. After two weeks I received a text apologizing and said he thought it had been returned and would see to it. After several more weeks and texts and phone calls no refund had been made. Finally I attended their office, which was closed. A neighbouring business called the owner of Valleys Best who subsequently called me and said to another person write a check and put into the mail today. That was over a month age and still no refund. I have tried several phone calls, emails on their web site with no response. Never have they said the wouldnt return the deposit or that there was any dispute. On the contrary they have said on three occasions they would do so. It just never happens. I have my credit card statement showing the charge and a copy of all the texts. I cannot believe a company with an A- rating by the BBB would act in such a manner. I dont want to have to proceed in Small Claims court, I just want my $1000 back. Thank you
