    On August *******i signed a contract with *** Design, **** ****** *******, to create plans for hobby shop to ADU conversion to complete and send to city for approval. I paid a total of $1600.00 cash , he submitted plans to a separate pmt number from my application number. He will not release plans to me or give the city permission to up load to my file. According to the city I can not get the plans from the pmt number he submitted as he technically owns the plans. I have called and sent text on numerous occasions. On Oct 3, 2024 found him on ******** and requested the release of plans. He said he would call and release them. He has not complied with the city request to upload to my file. I have now sent him a final letter to release plans or I will take legal action. The file he submitted is incomplete according to city officials. This man is a fraud! He has caused me many months delay on my project plus the money I gave him. I demand him to complete his work immediately or refund my money.

    I hired ****************************** (JCXdrafting studio) on 06/13/23 to draft plans for a home addition, submit them to the ******************* and he would make sure the plans were complete and pass all inspections to get final approval and provide me stamped/approved plans for a total of $3900.00. After many delays on his part, he finally submitted incomplete plans to the city on 08/08/23. He has not responded to me or the city since. The plans are not complete and are useless without him completing them and providing anything additionally required by the city. The plans cannot be completed by anyone else; I have confirmed this with several other drafters. These plans are useless, cannot be used and he has abandoned the job. I now have to start over with a different company and pay them. He has also delayed my project four month since hiring him, until now. Since he did not provide the service, he agreed upon I want a full refund of the money that I've paid him so far which is $2600.00. I have tried many times to reach him over the past 2 months by phone, text and email. He never responds. I can provide dates and proof of all of my attempts if needed. I'm giving him this opportunity to respond and refund my money asap otherwise I will proceed with a lawsuit against him.

    In May 2023 I inquired on *****'s List for an architect. In the following days I was contacted by ****************************** of JCX Design Studio. After a review of his references and previous work we met on May 23, 2023. That day ****** personally visited my home and measured the potential area for drawing plans for a Jr. **** I agreed to his terms and signed his pre-printed contract (see attachments) and provided a deposit check of $1300 (see attachment) of which he immediately cashed after departing from my home. He claimed he would provide a drawing within a week and submit them to the *************** for approval and permitting. After several emails, texts, and phone calls he finally provide draft drawings on June 14 of which he claimed he would submit to the city. After a few weeks I attempted to obtain an update from ******; he claimed he was still waiting word from "the city" and that he hadn't returned my calls because he had not heard from the city. I haven't heard from him since. I finally visited ******* City Hall on Sep 7, 2023 and spoke with Mr. ********************* Building Permit Technician (see attachment). ************** advised me that no plans have been submitted by ****************************** nor were any permits initiated for my home address. I attempted to call ****** again but he didn't answer. Additionally, I did contact *****'s List via telecon in early June to file a complaint. They advised me ****************************** no longer had an active account with them. Thank you for any assistance you can provide to obtain a full refund for what appears to be a breach of contract and somehow restrict this individual from duping any others out of time and monetary resources.
