I have reported several of this girls Gofundme as fraud and they've refused to remove it. This girl is scamming people. She's actually viral on TikTok. The girl brags about how much money she makes but asking for the public for money she doesn't need and not using funds for that purpose *************************************************************************** This girl claims her son was beat up when that is false information and she claims her son was assaulted and is comparing it to the ***** Hook shooting. I am the recipient of a Go Fund Me account. Donations made to my account back in Feb/March have not been deposited into my bank account despite receiving emails that this money would be deposited within 2-5 business days. I sent a message to the company 2 weeks ago and have not heard back. I am still waiting on almost $2500 from them. It is impossible to email directly or speak to a human so I don't know how else to receive these much-needed donations.Business Response

I have been verified as beneficiary and I am getting the run around and no help from Go Fund Me. They are not allowing any of my donated funds to be transferred to me and its delay is causing me further financial and mental hardship. We have not been able to transfer our funds from a GoFundMe fundraiser account to our bank account and have made attempts to contact GoFundMe on several occasions. The only way to contact their customer service is via email. My emails are not being answered. GoFundMe has notified us on our fundraiser page that if we do not transfer our funds to our bank account by May 15th they will return all donations to our donors. We have provided all required documents to GoFundMe to transfer our funds but still have not received them nor are they responding to a request for assistance to receive the funds. The amount owe to our fundraiser is $5837 less fees. This is shameful that I can not receive help from GoFundMe, and because of this the people that we are raising the much need money will not get it. I hope that if we have not received our funds by May 15th that GoFundMe will indeed return donations to our generous donors. I am very doubtful. I hope you can help in this matter. I created a GoFundMe account for a family and have been trying to set up transfer for the money however their transfer policy is NOT working and they are NOT resolving the issue so this family can get their money! Nobody to talk too! No phone contact and they give you the run around! Its ridiculous and especially for people who Need this money!!! I suggest that nobody uses them! On January 8th, 2024 I was made aware that GoFundMe was hosting a fundraiser that defamed me. I was abused by my wife and I was turned away from domestic violence services due to my gender as a man. My abuser went on GoFundMe and falsely stated that I was the abuser without evidence and was able to raise thousands of dollars by defaming me. I report the GoFundMe account and ********************** said they have accept the report and they would contact me in two days but they never did. I have reported the defaming GoFundMe dozens of times and dozens of times GoFundMe said they would response to me but they never did. I mailed GoFundMe a demand letter but they never responded. I was abused by my wife, turned away from domestic violence services, defamed by GoFundMe.com and then GoFundMe.com lied to me saying they would response to me in two days but they never responded. I cannot get ahold of anyone at GoFundMe.com and I need the BBB's help!Business Response

We have given them the information regarding my Daiughters credit union. We gave them the account number to go into her savings accounts. They said they had not received her account information after we sent it multiple times. My daughter name is ************************. Our fundraiser got taken down around a day after posting it. Me and my producer both put in $500 of our own money into it. It got taken down for "offerring benefits to donators," which we did offer "perks." However, the website's top fundraisers all include perks available for different tiers of donations. We've tried our hardest to unpause the case, but they have not responded to our multiple emails for multiple days. Our money is stuck inside of the fundraiser, unable to pull out the money and unable to put money in. They're being extremely hard to work with!Business Response

Good day - As detailed in the attached letter - a false, unauthorized Go Fund Me - with disparaging libel remarks against the deceased ACTUAL next of kin - was allowed to be conducted during the most serious of times- death of a loved one. It was allowed to be conducted AND cashed out by unauthorized parties for a length of time unnecessarily and on purpose causing great emotional harm to THIS VERY DAY. The next of kin and the egreged disparaged party has never been made whole. In fact there has been NO return contact information - all this time later from Nov 2022 through TODAY. Go Fund Me repeatedly declined to remove the unauthorized Fundraiser and it was only after we had the added stress of writing the CA AG's office was it removed. It had already been CASHED OUT. The people who had donated were unwilling to donate again due to the ongoing fraud and disinformation and libel remarks by the perpetrator. We do not know the resolution or followup. Go Fund Me has caused major harm and stress by interfering with the ability to have an authorized fundraiser and the deceased remains unburied and uninterred or marked in any grave- causing continued anguish for the family due to lack of funds. We have never been apologized to directly, contacted or made "whole" for Go Fund Me's inability to comply with its own- marketed "guaranty" of no fraudulent accounts. We have repeatedly tried to reach out for a mutual resolution before legal action is taken. We would appreciate resolution assistance. This is the MOST HEINOUS type of fraudulent activity and for Go Fund Me to repeatedly allow it and provide a platform for theft and published- completely false libel against the authorized next of kin- opposite what they advertise as a "guaranty"- it's on them as far as legal liability goes.
