      Actually I would not give any star to SUNPOWER if I can. I sent my ERG Application Form to Sunpower in 19 April 2022. After four months my solar power is still not set up. Funny thing is a guy from Sunpower said my case was passed ** him and then he asked me to fill in ERG Application Form again. When I asked him some simple questions regarding the application and why I needed to fill it again, there was no reply after 5 days! I felt like I am a piece of trash in this company's eyes. So unless you wanna be treated like trash, DON'T CHOOSE SUNPOWER!

      I have been trying to reach CSR III Pierre G since Sep 9 (I called 8 times during this period) and I never received any response from him. Since he is the only contact I have in Sunpower I am not sure what to do with my already long delayed application.

      Demand: An update and timeline for completing my solar application, immediately.

      I have got the Sunpower system setup and running for almost 3 weeks now. My house is a brand new construction with the system installed couple months earlier. The first issue is - From the last 2 weeks, I am seeing an issue with the system not generating more than 3.5 KW in the peak hours (12 noon-4 pm). Now, my system is a 4.2 KW system and I live in *******************, where the average temperature during the peak hours is 95 degrees. As for the second issue, out of the 12 panels, one panel has never reported a reading from the time it is activated and is showing a communication error on the mySunpower app. Even after raising a complaint with the customer service, they are coming back with a response that the system is performing normally as per what they are seeing on their end. They have not even considered the issue I have been trying to explain and reported. This is so frustrating especially after spending good amount of money on a system which is brand new and not even getting the right support! The SunPower technical support/engineering team 's support is pathetic and unacceptable!

      This was probably the smartest choice I have made behind purchasing my home.Simple process the only thing I did was secure my pets during installation and kick back and wait to save a ton of money. If you have concerns just reach out to your SunPower team let them know the problem, they're the experts let them handle your concern.Bottom line keep paying your utility company or generate your own power along with a big tax break,

      SunPower technician came today to connect the solar to the main power, to our surprise we were told that he could not finish the job because the solar breaker was not installed and the performance meter was still locked. The job was incomplete. How did this pass *********** PTO was supposedly been issued.I also contacted ****** and ****** multiple times to move the panel box and correct the ground wires but without any resolutions for over a month now and my last email was also ignored.SunPower is supposed to take all consumer concerns seriously but the way it is going on my end SunPower is ignoring me and has incompetent installers, coordinators, and work site inspector/supervisor. The service is being delayed further and further. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable!!!

      They are having communication problems between my system and everyone else. A problem that only arose the day that they switched the lease to my name a.k.a. my closing date on this home. Which tells me that when they switched it into my name, something got screwed up. Their response to any issue is that they will submit a ticket to have someone investigate. Which is just a stall tactic they use, so they can have a call center just take messages, not help resolve any real issues other than billing. i have been waiting for 3 months, that is right 3 months for them to get the communication between my solar panels, them and my electric company working properly. I have been asking for help for 3 months and I am not getting anywhere. Meanwhile, my electric bill went up **** times more than the previous months. Not doubled or tripled **** times more! Their response, we evaluate at the end of the year and reimburse you the difference. Which is 10 months from now, as I just closed on this house and started my lease with them. Until they fix this, I am response for paying the electric bill that is now **** times more due to their software mistake. Which I am told that I have an appointment 3 weeks from now, and it should get fixed then. I asked who is going to pay for the electric for the next three weeks until you fix it? Same response, at the yearly evaluation...

      Don't do business with these people!!!!!!!! We had to either purchase or lease the solar panels that came with our home upon purchase of our home. In the process of purchasing our home, SunPower sent us the wrong application. Then wouldn't correct their mistake, almost causing us to not be able to purchase the home. When we took over the lease, they later called us up out of the blue, no letter ahead of time or anything. Asking if we would like to pay off the solar panels at a reasonable ***********, from a cold call we did have that kind of money right then. There response, ok thank you and goodbye. Come to find out later it was a one time early buyout option hidden in the fine print 5 years after initial lease date. When we called back a few months later the buyout amount was almost three times higher. We've decided that it was best to break free of SunPower. In case we decide to sell our home, so the next owner won't have to deal with such an inconvenient company. We've paid off the solar panels but they have yet to send us anything verifying this. They sent a warranty transfer form but it's basically useless because almost everything on it is already out of warranty. 25 year warranty that everything is supposed to work. Great! Except most warranty parts are only warranted for **** years but as a whole is warranted for 25? They are corporate scammers and thieves that are not worth doing business with. Unless of course you prefer to be constantly held up by your unmentionables and defiled. We paid between $70-$80 per month and our electric bills were still between $175-$250. Having these panels feels like having a solar car battery panel. Sure it works but doesn't produce enough electricity.

      Service contact is difficult since Covid because phone number is not 24/7 as posted and web address is similar to other solar companies making it difficult to reach the correct service.

      I definitely believe *********** is good at saving energy and money, My problem with Sunpower is The person who was advising me and offering this good information about how much I could save was obviously not listening to me, I told him I would be selling my home in the near future ( I was told I could still save in the meantime) it ended up costing me so much money after agreeing and getting the Solar installed on my home ( I was advised the new buyer will just take over the lease from me) ***************************** made it sound so easy and simple. What a disaster, Sunpower installed the panels knowing my roof needed work ( Repairs) a few months later ( I got a leak) it rained heavy in NY and with that my bedroom leaked onto my bed, I lived in that home 24 years and never got a leak in my bedroom.Whenever Sunpower comes to talk about getting this great deal ( solar panels) tell them to tell you everything ( good information comes with advantages and disadvantages) I lost almost ten thousand dollars, I had to pay to remove the panels, get my roof fixed and get the panels reinstalled. I wish I never got the "Solar panel installed, especially since I was moving" Listen!! Get all the facts before agreeing to save money, in my case " it cost me much more"Not just my time and energy ( ****************) was not answering my calls or even offering solutions to my problems with the ************** A total lossHe never reached out to help ( Consumers always ask all the right questions and look for people who will back you up when things don't go according to plan) I wish I did more research not only on "Sunpower" but who's pushing you to get it.Never Again

      *** and ***** were very quick to respond to my inquires. *** answered all my questions and hot me going. ***** over saw the project. She was always congenial and quick to respond. The systems was install ahead of schedule and works well.

      SunPower Company provides my solar system and monitoring. Recently the monitoring has disappeared. I have had multiple contacts with this company's tech support over the last month. Each " tech support" person had a totally different explanation! Ultimately, I was told the problem was internal to SunPower, but I would have to pay a company for an on-site visit to solve the issue!After a few contacts to Semper Solaris, the company that I purchased the system from, they sent out a technician to remedy the issue. The issue appeared to be resolved temporarily but now the SunPower app states " solar is not producing"! I have been provided with misleading information and was told that I needed to pay for their company's problems. This does not appear to be a reputable or accountable business.
