On May 14, 2024 I took my truck to the Quick Quack car wash in ********, ** (**************) to get a ceramic wash ( Christmas gift card) on my new truck. While in the soap dispensing section of the car wash I suddenly felt the back drivers side of my truck being lifted up and pushed to the right. It was a terrifying experience as my windows were all covered in soap which kept dispensing so I couldnt see what was happening nor could I roll down my window without getting a truck full of soap. I felt (an heard) the front passenger side of my truck hitting something metal and was afraid my truck was going to be pushed completely sideways and I would be trapped before anyone listened to my yelling for someone to stop the car wash. After several minutes, the line finally stopped and I was able to use my wipers to clear the windshield and could see that my truck was sitting at about a ***************************************************************************** an attempt to get it back on the track. At this point the cashier and the attendant both appeared at my drivers side window. The cashier told me to drive out of the car wash while the attendant ( I guess in an attempt to absolve himself of being negligent) said I told you to put your truck in neutral and I replied that my truck was in neutral. He then replied well you didnt do it soon enough. Seeing that my truck was covered with soap I asked the cashier if I could get it rinsed off with water so it didnt eat into my paint and he told me I would have to go back through the car wash to get it rinsed off which I reluctantly did and PRAYED the entire time I was in there. Upon exiting I was so upset I couldnt even park straight after the cashier told me he had to complete an incident report.Upon inspecting my truck I noticed the rear drivers wheel (black) had been ground down to the metal and the front passenger bumper had about a 7 x 1 1/2 scratch down to the metal and a dent.Total damage $4,005.48Business Response

Hello ******* - Were truly sorry to hear that your visit to our ********, ** location caused you distress, and we understand how upsetting this situation has been for you. At Quick Quack, we take every customer concern seriously and strive to provide a safe and reliable experience for all vehicles.
After thoroughly reviewing the incident, including camera footage and equipment function reports, our team confirmed that there were no malfunctions with the equipment, and over 650 vehiclesincluding many truckswere washed successfully that day without issue. Our conveyors are designed to move vehicles in a straight line, and they do not have the capability to turn or push a vehicle off track. The video footage shows the front wheels of your vehicle turning, which can cause a vehicle to disengage from the track. Upon entering the wash every customer is given the safety instructions to 1) Place the vehicle in neutral 2) remove your hands from the wheel, and 3) remove your foot from the brake. When these instructions are followed your vehicle will be pushed along through the tunnel in a safe manner until the directional signage at the end of the wash instructs you to "go" at which point you will place the vehicle in drive again and exit safely.
Our store leader did provide you with photos of your vehicles after being properly loaded with your wheels straight and then turning off the track. Unfortunately, these safety instructions were not followed in this case causing this incident. The wash did not malfunction in any way during your visit and the damage caused was due to driver error. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for damage that was not caused by the wash. We wish you the best.

On April 22, 2024, between 8-8:20 a.m., my and 4 other cars were seriously damaged at the Quick Quack Car Wash on *********************************************** *****, due to malfunctioning equipment.I have tried to contact the Incident Specialist, *************************** **************, and or **************/ *************************** to discuss and resolve my damages. I have left multiple messages, emails, but to no avail. NO RESPONSE. This has been the same experience of the 4 other individuals and their cars. Finally I have handed this over to my personal insurance company, but will have to pay a $1,000 deductible, as well pay for 2 weeks or more for a rental cars (another $1,000) while the repairs are being made.The Quick Quack Corporate Headquaters address is *************************************************. ************************* is listed as their CEO.I expect full recovery of my deductible costs and the rental care costs.Business Response

Unable to help me with my request to speak to someone regarding an incident that occurred inside of the car wash. We were actually hit inside the wash by another vehicle on 5/9 and NO ONE has ever called to follow up. I have called several times and still, no call back. Apparently customer care cant help with the situation. On the incident ticket, it says you will be contacted within 3 days. We are way past that. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional and disheartening that you cant even reach someone who deals with these issues. When you request to cancel the membership due to all of this, they dont even care and offer to cancel without hesitation. I have 4 vehicles and pay $100 a month. I went through the car wash May 1 2024, it damaged a trim piece on my car, filed an incident report with one of the managers because the store lead wasnt there and had to wait to hear back to get it fixed ( brand new 2024 car I bought January of 2024 ) I have called the number on the incident report now 4 or 5 times and get told every time that they are gonna get back to me within 3 business days and never get a call and instead have to end up calling the customer service number again. I had finally showed up one of the days and talked to the store leader, he told me he seen it In The video and thinks that it was a manufacture defect and to take it to the dealership to see if my warranty would cover it, I took it just to avoid the argument because I knew they wouldnt cover it with it happening in the car wash. He said if they wont do anything then to email him an estimate of the piece and that it will definitely get fixed, which I did that same night. I called today because it has now been a month with no response, I called the number again today and got told they were gonna send out another message, because they dont deal with the incident, which makes no sense if that is the number on the incident report.Business Response

Our store leader made several attempts to contact you throughout the claims process but was unfortunately unable to connect. During the on-site visit, our team informed you that the silver C-pillar trim of your vehicle detached under the dryers which produces as much pressure as a vehicle would experience driving on the freeway. This indicates that the part may have been unsecured or affected by a manufacturing issue.
Our team informed you at the time that this is a known issue with your specific vehicle. Weve attached documentation to support this, showing that *** is aware of the problem and is offering repairs. Specifically, the adhesive used for the trim has been found to degrade under heat, leading to detachment. This issue is noted in Kia ********* ******* Bulletins (TSBs).
Because this is related to a known manufacturing defect and involves an unsecured part, Quick Quack is not responsible for the repair. You later contacted us to express that you did not wish to go through your dealership for the repair and requested an escalation. Our regional leader followed up and left a voicemail that included their name, phone number, and a detailed explanation of the claim denial, but we did not receive a response.
As stated on the signage at the entrance of our wash, We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old. Since no equipment malfunction occurred during your wash and the issue stems from a known vehicle defect, we are unable to accept liability in this case.

Quick Quack - ***************************************** 4/11/2024 - My 2013 Ram 2500 was damaged on the right side passenger mirror with a replacement cost of $698.00. I received an incident report from the staff on site and was told that the branch manager would be contacting me within ***** hours with a solution to the damage. I've called them 5 times and was told the same thing; As of 5/31/2024, I've called the customer help line and was told that the branch phone numbers listed all get redirected to headquarters in which the customer service only handles billing and membership related issues. With me living 700 miles away, The Customer service rep/ Supervisor told me that they would send the branch manager yet another message in hopes they reach out soon and that there was no one else i could speak to about this issue. Best case is to catch that branch manager in person and resolve the issue in person, or go through my insurance company to take care of the damages. As of today 5/31/2024, I'll be filing a police report with Rocklin ************************ for vandalism. I think it's extremely dangerous and a liability that the company prefers customers to resolve issues in person with the branch manager to receive compensation for damages.Business Response

This claim was denied because the mirror was an oversized mirrors that were an aftermarket addition to your vehicle. When coming through the wash with mirrors that stick out our extended amount, we recommend folding them in every time. The footage shows that nothing malfunctioned during your wash to cause this incident so unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for this incident since it does fall in line with incidents that can occur with aftermarket, non-factory installed parts, and is advised by our signage before you enter the wash. We apologize for any frustration you have experienced and wish you the best.

On May 7th, I went to Quick Quack Car Wash in ****, **. During the wash, I felt a hard impact. As the soap was being times away, I realized my car had hit the car in front of me. The car in front got stuck on the rails. After letting that car out, my car wash stopped in the wash. After several days of back n fourth, non responsive management, finally got a response that the local office reviewed video footage and determined they were at fault. The manager said they would pay me for the damage but today is May 21 and my calls continue to be ignored. My car had been evaluated and there as $1500 with damage to my car and they have still not sent payment by keep telling me it's being reviewed.I cannot get anyone to help me escalate this matter. I signed up for a monthly wash subscription on the morning of May 12th 2024 for my wife's new car. We we got to the car wash that same day around 3:45 pm I attempted to locate the office and was given extremely rude attitude from the assistant manager. We proceeded through the car wash and then vacuumed after. Then we drove across the street to build an online ********* order and check our vehicle for damage. We wash hundreds of vehicles each day without issue, but in the rare case of damage, we take every claim seriously and conduct a thorough investigation to determine what may have happened.To help us best support our customers, we strongly encourage anyone who suspects damage to immediately notify our onsite staff and file a claim at the time of the visit. This allows us to review footage, inspect equipment, and gather relevant information in a timely manner.
Based on the photo you provided we would like to explain that this type of damage is not consistent with what can be caused by the wash. At Quick Quack, we use the latest technology and a brushless system utilizing a combination of soft-cloth and neoprene foam (scuba suit material) in order to be safer on your cars finish. In the rare case that wraps in the wash were to damage a vehicle, the pattern of damage would be expected to follow very specific patterns matching the motion and action of the equipment used. Due to the rotational spin of our wraps, in the rare case of damage, it would appear as short repeating linear marks along the full length of the vehicle along the path of the wrap. Unfortunately, the damage in your photo is not consistent with how our wraps move along the vehicle.

On 04/19/2024, I entered the Quick Quack car wash on Blue Ravine Rd in Folsom, **. The attendant was not paying attention to help me align my car while it was entering the track. There was a scraping noise for approximately 2 seconds, I panicked, he noticed, and then signaled to me to turn my car. When I exited the car wash, there was damage done to the front passenger wheel and tire. I have been calling the Quick Quack ************* team every week since the incident occurred. During every call, they promise a callback by the Store Lead who will address my incident. The week after the incident, the Store Lead called me back and said he was looking into my case. He promised to call me back after 30 minutes. I never received a call back. I continue to call back every week. There is still no resolution or any information on my incident. Please be advised that Quick Quack is not an ethical company. They will not take any measure to help you resolve an issue at their car wash. The resolution here would be a formal response to my incident, with the best response of them admitting to their negligence and paying the damage on our brand new car.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because the photos attached were taken approximately 1 minute after existing the Quick Quack Folsom Car Wash location. I do not believe your video captured the grinding noises and shaking I experienced while in the car. Also you fail to address that my car was brand new and deemed undriveable after this incident. How else could have this been caused other than your location?
Quick Quack, you failed in your duty to exercise reasonable care during this car wash and are liable for monetary damages. Not to say the considerable delay it has taken you to respond to this complaint (literally almost a year later).

I purchased a one time Ceramic Car Wash for $25.99. Services were unsatisfactory. I chose to pay for the most expensive car wash to receive a premium wash. However when entering the car wash, the spray hose was broken. I asked the worker to please spray, and stated she couldn't due to hose being broken. Car was not left clean, spots were all over, and I was not satisfied. Vacuums were not suctioning, no towels are available in the bins, as stated on them, misleading the consumer. The customer next to me was complaining to a worker, as I was not the only one with an unsatisfactory experience. The online contact form on the Quick Quack website does not work, and has not worked for a while. There is no phone number available to reach the Quick Quack Perris location. I am very glad I did not purchase the unlimited membership that is constantly pushed onto single purchase consumers, this would have been a big mistake. Cars are not left clean to satisfaction. I am a member of this car wash and while going through it on March 26, 2024 it gouged my front driver's side wheel. I did an incident report that day. The incident specialist emailed me on March 29, 2024 asking what happened and they were reviewing the footage. I explained what happened and he never answered me. I sent out a follow up email to him on April 5,2024 as well as April 9,2024. After not hearing from him ever I reached out to their customer care email on april *******, again on April 15th, 24th, and 29th. They said someone will reach out to me and nobody has.Nobody has contacted me about the incident and today is *** 6,2024.I went online and logged into my account and they canceled my membership without talking to me, they're trying to sweep this whole thing under the rug. It's funny, i was never shown this so called "footage" of the "damage" prior to entering the wash. I never asked for quick quack to replace/fix the actual damage the machine did to my wheel. I just wanted it to be acknowledged and addressed so it didn't do the same to someone else's vehicle. The deflecting, neglect, and lack of care just baffles me and now I just want everybody to know how shady this company actually is! It's absolutely embarrassing and you should be ashamed. Canceling my membership without my knowledge was the best thing you guys could have done for me. Every time I wash my car myself, it's fulfilling and actually cleamer than any time I went through your machine.
