I called to schedule a cleaning of my Couch. I was quoted over the phone $139.00 I asked what the process was for the cleaning and if it would include vacuuming. the Tech arrived on site and upsold us on a upgraded deep cleaning. We agreed. That cost was $229.00. The tech then sprayed come water on the couch and barely touched it will the machine. He has my husband on 2 different occasions on that visit for a cash tip. The tech was very unprofessional. once he left we inspected the couch to see that is was not cleaned at all. There was pet hair, debris, sand and confetti still in the couch. I have photos of how it looked right after. I have been reaching out to the company every day for a week trying to get this resolved. I have asked them to come to my home and look at the couch to see for themselves. no response. I am only told to send information to a text phone number and someone will get back to me. no one is reaching out and there is no given date as to when they will have this resolved.Initial Complaint

Over the phone, Stainless Steamer falsely confirmed they were ******* *******. When their representative, Moti, visited my mothers home that same day, he also claimed to be from ******* *******, pressuring her into paying a $116 cash deposit. He provided no contract or cancellation policy, and the terms of service were never discussed.Upon realizing the deception, my mother called on September 4, 2024, to cancel the service (which was scheduled for September 18, 2024). The company refused to refund her deposit and even hung up on her when she confronted them about their dishonest practices. I found this website for carpet cleaning in ********* (***********************************************************).I called to schedule appointment for carpet, bed and sofa cleaning for a **** sq feet, 1BR/1.5BA condo. Quote over the phone was $89 for the carpet, $99 for the bed and $129 for the sofa. We agreed to pricing and services were to be rendered on 10/3/2023 btw 8-10am.I never received email confirmation of our appointment. Never received ANY written confirmation. Technician came on Oct 3, as scheduled & my realtor (*****) was there to let them into unit. Technician started work and informed Realtor that the cost would be $625.00. (My original quote was $317.00). I immediately called Stainless Steamer at ************. They said the technician had to do "special cleaner" which is more than what was quoted. I promptly stated that I did NOT authorize any additional/special services. They said would look into it and call me back. They never did. I asked that the technician call me. He never did. I still do NOT have a call back from ANYONE. The technician demanded that Realtor pay him (COD) on the spot for services rendered. He left NO paperwork, NO invoice, NO payment confirmation. Realtor was there only to give access to the unit. Nobody should have demanded/taken money from Realtor. I am the homeowner and I am the one financial responsible for services rendered at my property.I should have known what I was getting into by looking at YELP reviews but I did not. 100% of their reviews are 1 star or below. Accusations of consumer fraud & false advertising/poor quality on every review. I wish I'd looked BEFORE I scheduled. This company says they have a 100% Licensed, Insured, Bonded Guarantee. Our carpet is soaking wet. We cannot walk on it. Doors, windows are open and fans are on for over 24 hours. We are now concerned about mold and water damage. We scheduled an appointment to have our tile and grout cleaned. When the person arrived on July 1, 2023, his vehicle was not marked with the company name we thought we were contracting with, that was Stanley Steamer. When my husband asked him, he said he was contracted by Stanley Steemer. Long story short, he and his wife did a poor job of cleaning the entryway, front bathroom and kitchen.
When I called Stanley Steemer, I was given a number to text an unnamed supervisor pictures of the poorly cleaned floors and they would get back to us with a resolution. So far, after numerous attempts to be contacted, we still have not heard from the company.
We were charged $267 and there was no receipt given at the time as the gentleman said one would be emailed to us. After numerous phone calls, we finally received a invoice with no company name on it and when I looked for the email, it had mysteriously disappeared. I contacted a company that I believed was Stanley Steemer via Google to have my flooring cleaned. On 5/17/23, the technician arrived to my house. After about an hour, I still had not received a call confirming the pricing of the rest of the flooring or what work was taking place. I called the office of the company 3 times and was told that the technician would call me as soon as possible.I received a call from the technician who told me that he had completed the work on my house and was demanding payment. I told him that I had never approved any work or pricing and that I was not comfortable providing payment until I spoke to the office. The technician told me that HE was Stanley Steemer and that I would only be able to talk to him. He then insulted my marriage and then threatened to go back into my house and begin vandalizing the property if I did not provide payment. I immediately called the “Stanley Steemer” office and they told me that they would tell the technician to leave and that he would not damage my property. I agreed to pay for the two services that I had agreed to when scheduling the appointment, which would be $138 in total. My card was actually charged $235 and I never received a receipt. When my husband walked into the home, it was clear that the technician had taken the dirty water he had cleaned from the carpets and splashed it all over my kitchen and bedrooms. There was dirt all over the walls and he had spread trash throughout the living room.
I eventually got ahold of Stanley Steemer corporate, who explained to me that there is a fraudulent company, who goes by “Stainless Steamer”, who is impersonating Stanley Steemer and has somehow linked themselves to Stanley Steemer’s google results. They said that it was an ongoing issue and that they had heard from multiple customers that this company had taken advantage of them and done damage to their homes.

The google ads listed this company first when I attempted to find ******* Steemer. They called and left an email stating they were ******* Steemer. I received a quote and they came the next day.
The work they did was abominable. They left marks, stains, cuts and tears. There are black marks where there wasn’t black marks before. When I called ******* Steemer they confirmed they were not the people who came to my home. They said that Stainless Steemer pretends to be them and this has happened before.
I called Stainless and the person who picked up said ******* Steemer very fast. I asked if they were ******* Steemer or Stainless. The person hesitated and then said, Stainless. They provided me with a google voice number to text about my issue. I requested resolution and sent photos of the damage. They said they we did nothing wrong and refused to contact me again. These people are scammers and destroy your property with no remorse. They even charged more than ******* Steemer when I called them begging to come fix the mistake of these crooks.Initial Complaint

I hired who I thought was Stanley Steemer on Monday September 19th to clean my carpet I was under the impression I was hiring Stanley Steemer the worker that came was ******* he stated he was contracted out by Stanley Steemer and he had me pull up the website to show him the deal they were offering three rooms for $159 he said he would honor that price I paid the amount of $300 to have my carpets cleaned. Deep cleaned with spot remover and deodorizer is what we discussed not satisfied with the end results the carpets were no cleaner when he left than they were when he came. I called Stanley Steemer and spoke to them they said they do not contract out and that they have had multiple problems with this company inpersonating them. I spoke through text to whom I believe was a manager of stainless steamer not sure explain the situation showed them the pictures of what their worker did and that I had to have them re cleaned by some other carpet cleaning business and showed them the results of what they did they claim that I only paid for a middle grade deep clean and that is not what ******* told me when we spoke I did sign the receipt but I did not realize at the time of signing what he wrote on there in regards to middle grade clean but that is not what we verbally discussed. The company basically told me that they couldn't help me. I told them I was unsatisfied and would like my money back. The first two pictures are the end results of stainless Steamers work. I called the carpet cleaner on July 11, 2022 thinking it was ******Y *******. When I ask for verification that they were ******y ******* the operator said, "yes, how can I help you." I explained I was a returning customer and would like three rooms cleaned. She stated they were running a special of $69.00. I asked if this was per room and she said no for all three. When the cleaning technicians arrived on July 15th they said the amount to clean would be $378.00 because of the size of the rooms. I told them it was too much. The technician said he would text his supervisor to see if he could get a lower rate. Again, I told them the last time they were out it wasn't that much (again thinking they were ******Y *******S). He got an immediate text back and said his supervisor sees I am a returning customer and will charge me $278. I told him ok. When they brought in the cleaning machines I noticed they were the round brush machines and not the wand. I questioned that and he said they had upgraded their cleaning machines. When cleaning was done, I noticed some areas still dirty. He said wait for it to dry. The next day it was still dirty. I contacted the company and they gave me a number to send pictures to. When I did that, I received a text saying they are not a carpet cleaning company. I tried calling again to speak to a supervisor and they said no one was available. I again asked the operator the name of the business and she stated We Clean Carpets. Once she told me this I disputed the charge on my credit card because they falsely represented themselves and the work was horrible. I checked the invoice and it states We Clean Carpets.
