I called Midas Poway for a quote to replace front struts on our 2016 ****** Rouge. I spoke with ******. I was given a price of $437.50 for labor which is 2.5 hours at $175 per hour. This is a good price. Then I was given a price of $550 for parts $275 per strut...for a total of $ ******. I spoke with ****** three different times with questions and lastly to confirm the price. We made an appointment for today to have the work done. After doing an inspection ****** called me with other recommended work which we declined. The reason for this review is the fact that now the price is $1,295 not the quoted ******. ****** now says the struts are $399 each not the $275. I reminded him of the quote and his response was that he had only given me an estimated price. I worked in the automotive sales industry for 17 years and am very familiar with service as well. When I first spoke with ****** I was very impressed. He told me that he likes under promise and over deliver. On top of the original great price becauseIm a first time client they were gonna do the alignment for free. I called three different auto parts stores and got prices on the parts with three different stores being at $263 For each strut. We are OK with them making profit obviously, but that type of markup is unheard of.When I spoke to ****** about the price that I got, he said that I was wrong. Im very surprised at that point. They told us to come pick up our car. Theyll put it back Basically, we do not want your business. So to say, we are very displeased with Midas Poway. Please keep in mind. This is a franchise and Im not saying all of them are bad. Just a terrible experience here.

Most HORRIBLE experience. EVER. My wife took her sports car in for a simple oil change. The next day I told her that that car was leaking oil. She is a nurse and was, unfortunately, unable to immediately take it back, both because of her schedule and distance. She took it in for them to re-inspect it and they told her nothing was wrong and that some oil had just leaked onto the undertray plastics. The car DID stop leaking for about a week and then the puddle reappeared, even worse. She was on her way back to them to inspect AGAIN, but was not able to complete the journey because the warning system in the car came on, telling her to add oil immediately or risk damage. She was able to add oil and return home where I was able to lift the car and find that not only had this Midas shop left out the critical oil drain bolt crush-washer, but that they had also stripped the drain bolt by over-tightening it in an effort to stop the leak. I made arrangements with the shop, after contacting the owner and the district manager, and demanded that they NOT proceed with any further inspection or repair until I was present to witness. They agreed to this, but after the car was towed to them proceeded with the repair without my knowledge or consent. When I realized I would not be able to inspect the repairs for myself, I also demanded the old/original parts back. They would not give them to me and I had to call the Police while on-site, as well as the district manager. While I was waiting in my car for the police to arrive and answering work emails, the store manager knocked on my window and showed me the bolt I had asked for. When I told him it was too late and that the police were already on their way, he opened my door, threw the bolt at me, and then slammed my door on my arm while I was trying to keep my dog from getting out.The officer served him with a citizen's arrest and now I have a court date, over a simple oil change handled by nefarious crooks.

Never bring your vehicle to Midas in *****, **! The manager **** will over promise and under deliver every time. The mechanics are totally incompetent and they cant fix anything. We always brought our vehicles in for the same mechanical issues and they never fixed them so we wasted lots of time and money. When I complained about the most recent mechanical issue that wasnt fixed properly and I asked him if he would charge me to fix it, he told me of course he would and when I told him that I would take my business elsewhere he told me go ahead and that he didnt care.

Took my Jeep with 45k miles for engine light. After spending over $700 and same issue I am being told that they cant fix the issue and they handed back my key back but kept my money. My Jeep had fault code 301 with included faulty fuel pressure. However they didnt perform this simple procedure before replacing other parts.
