On August 2023, 2023 I entered the 7/ll on **************************************** walked through the aisles, then decided to put my phone away in my purse so that I would be able to use both my hands to serve myself a Slurpee. I guess the employee, thought I was stealing so he cornered me in the store, and told me to open up my purse. Confused, I asked why and he proceeded to tell me that I can't leave until I show him my purse. I gave him my purse, and let him check it. He found nothing, then proceeded to tell me to leave. I was very shocked at the situation and immediately left. Hesitantly, I told them how uncomfortable and unsafe I felt with calling the person who had assaulted me to get their insurance info. The man obviously refused to give me any of the insurance info. When I got back in touch with the complaint department again they always tell me the same story over and over that someone will reach out to help resolve this. Multiple attempts of calling has gotten me nowhere, as they continue to not resolve this issue. The perpetrator is the store owner...
