      Beyond Finance as they have failed to honor their contractual obligations. Since beginning our partnership in February 2024, my credit score has plummeted by more than two hundred points and my debts have been sent to collections. Instead of helping me consolidate my debt, they advised against making any payments and suggested demonstrating hardship while continuing to collect funds from my bank account in hopes of negotiating with creditors. Furthermore, they canceled a deal without notifying me, citing the creditor's failure to provide necessary documents, which I only found out about on the day I requested termination.On May 19, 2024, I reached out to Beyond Finance via email seeking clarity about a collection notice from another creditor they were managing. Their response claimed it was typical for the debt to be outsourced to a third party, despite me still making monthly payments. This raises the question of deliberate tactics.If the objective was to avoid paying the creditors, why did I engage Beyond Finance to negotiate when I could have pursued this independently? Their practices come across as unscrupulous, damaging, and deceitful. It's already challenging to navigate financial struggles, and their actions have exacerbated my financial situation. When I requested a full refund, they insisted on payment for services performed, yet they never provided a written breakdown of the services executed on my behalf.I am request a full refund.

      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on February 15, 2024.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about fees can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees.  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."


      Review of your program confirmed that you authorized a resolution for your **************** account on June 17, 2024.  The first payment was issued on June 20, 2024.  Beyond Finance met all established expectations prior to earning any portion of the fee.


      Additionally, information on impacts from the program can be located in the same section under paragraph 13. Disclaimer.  It reads, in part, as follows:


      " The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest..."


      "Clients enrolling in the Program may be subject to collections or sued by their creditors or debt collectors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program."


      Beyond Finance is exceptionally transparent in all aspects of the program.  Records confirm your request to terminate has been completed and a refund in the amount of $944.34 was issued on June 21, 2024.  Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

      Had a remaining balance after I completed the process. Was told Id have the money by a set date. That date came and went and they keep tacking on time until I will get my funds back. In the meantime they keep drawing from my checking account.

      06/24/2024 I was just over the phone trying to understand how this company charge me for the services company took money out of my checking account without my knowledge, they said that the money taken was for a job they didnt make since the creditor offer a way to settle the account, I said fine u guys already took the money and ask to cancel their service, they try then to have me record my voice agreeing to something else and at that point I just hanged the phone, later I call them back and I revoke my permission to take any other amount out of my bank and they refuse it and try once again to get me with their trick questions! Unbelievable!

      Beyond finance is a debt resolution company. I signed up to help reduce some of my debts and keep them going to collections. I had $22,000 in debt, Beyond was able to reduce the debt to $16,000. I was Beyond happy. Until, 1 year of making payments $700 per month $8400 in total just to find out only $1300 of my debt has been paid off. No one ever explaind to me that Beyond takes 25% and even with that including the fees there is still money missing. Overall they reduced the debt to $16000, once you add the 25% + fees I'm paying the full amount that was owed. Beyond is taking the money I should have saved and I am not saving anything. I am foolishly paying Beyond the difference. I feel as though I have been scammed.

      I've had an account with this lousy organization now for about six months. In this time, three of my credit cards have been charged off and my credit has been absolutely destroyed. I'm absolutely furious about the lack of transparency and action taken. I was told when I signed up that it would be an easy process and I was guaranteed peace of mind in managing my debt. But it looks like all I've done is worry more while they rip me off and kill my credit. I am now attempting to have my account closed and receive a full refund, will be considering legal action if this isn't resolved soon.

      I was told it would have minor effect on my credit and the agent told me "I've worked with all of these credit companies hundreds of times, it won't take long to get payment plans arranged." It has now been over 6 months and absolutely nothing has been done. Three cards have now been charged off, your website claims that payments are being made to Amazon meanwhile my Amazon card shows no payments being made. You are obviously not doing anything to actually solve my debt issues, my debt has doubled since I started with your company. This account needs to be closed and I expect a FULL refund of everything I have paid.

      I had to make several calls and attempts through online chat to get my account canceled. It wasn't until I threatened legal action that somebody actually called me back and my account has finally been closed and now I am awaiting my refund. I will continue to make sure that everyone I know is aware of what a scam Beyond Finance is.

      June 2023 I am paying biweekly payments of $370 The business is committed to help settle debt.I was initially told that my debts would be settled within the first year and I would be paying back Beyond Finance for a toltal of 48 months. I still have 3 unsettled debts. I do not have a problem paying them a 25% settlement fee. However, it is prolonging our ability to settle debt. I told Beyond when they enrolled me I was worried about my husbands job and his credit. They assured me they understood our situation and said our credit would initially take a hit but would bounce back within the year. I called to ask for the recorded call that stated our debt would be settled within the first year and I have not gotten an email or phone call. *********************, client aadvocate, offered to not take so much for the settlement fees monthly until our settlements were complete. I have not gotten a confirmation email or phone call. During our phone call she said she couldnt hear me and hung up the phone. She called back and said again, she couldnt hear me and for a second time hung up. I havent heard from her or Beyond since. BRP-****** I heard about Federal Debt Relief on television, I looked them up on the internet, and when I inquired about a program, they connected me to Beyond Finance.* I just want my debt to be in a repayment process. I am willing to pay extra but I want to make sure it is going to settle debts first like I was initially told. I have no problem paying the 25% settlement fee at a lower monthy fee until all debt is in repayment.

      On 5/31/2024 I had paid the last creditor I had off. I was informed by Beyond Finances customer service representatives that my "graduation" process started on 6/5/24. I have inquired about my balance in my dedicated account being refunded back to and was told I would receive the refund within 7-10 days of 6/5/24. As of 6/18/24 I have not received my refund and now after calling again and asking the refund process be expedited, as the online customer service representative instructed me to do; I am now told that even though all of my accounts are paid that they have not received a "confirmation" of the agreement from the last creditor that was paid off. I was not given a definitive answer as to when I will be refunded because they don't know when they'll confirm. I said they have had 19 days to reach out to the company and get confirmation but instead, they have not done anything and I was only just told this after contacting customer service at least 8 times since my last payment on 5/31/24. The money that is in the dedicated account is my money and they are refusing to refund it to me even though I was reassured time and time again that I would receive the refund by 6/18/2024.

      I did not need further assistance yesterday when contacting your company because like Ive been told over and over; no one can assist me in receiving my money from my dedicated account. I was never informed by BEYOND finance that there was an issue with receiving a letter from a creditor until I reached out 10 business days after my graduation process had started. I was told multiple times that I would receive my funds by that 10th day with no mention that it may be delayed. It was only then that my process was escalated. I followed my contract to a T and made every payment plus some every single month and would have been penalized if they werent. Now that your company has to give money back theres issues and I cannot have my money until you receive a letter from a creditor even though all of my accounts are completed and paid in full as of 5/31/24. There was also a lot of misinformation being sent from customer service representatives, such as that all I need to do was call and I would receive my funds. Theres a logistic issue on beyond finances end between them and the creditor, my money was taken to pay all accounts plus what it is sitting in my dedicated account which I am owed in return. Im appalled as a customer that I am being penalized on a mere technicality that in turn has nothing to do with me actually paying off the debt because you have already taken my funds to do so. Quick to take peoples money but hesitant to send anything that is owed back the customer.

      I canceled my service with this company on June 15th. I had a remaining balance of $585.49 in my banked account. I received confirmation on 6/15 that confirmed the account was closed on their end. I called the customer service number to ask about the money in my account and if I would receive any of it. The agent told me (I called 5:14pm Central time and the call lasted 9 minutes and 27 seconds) they charged me the remaining balance for program fees on 6/16. I asked if that was the case, could I get a breakdown on all the charges for my accounts because I didn't see any action on my accounts. She was unable to answer that questions or provide me a breakdown of services. I also asked, if that was the case then what were the charges that were taken out of my account in the amount of $2,661.34 in the month of April. I just want a break down of my charges to see where my money went and a refund of the money that is owed (if any). During the 9 month duration with them, only 2 of my accounts were settled on and it feels like the majority of the money I spent during this time went to "program fees".

      I am currently in debt over $20,000. I was (am) desperate for a resolution to my problem. I tried for months to get a debt consolidation loan but did not me the criteria. Ive been hesitant and leery for years to use debt consolidation companies. Ill be 60 this year. Ive had several orthopedic surgeries over the past decade. I needed a resolution before I became unable to work. So I put my trust in Beyond Finance to help me resolve my financial problems. They told me exactly what I needed to hear to trust and enroll in the program. What I heard from more than one agent that I spoke with was, we charge a small fee THAT IS CALCULATED INTO THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU WILL OWE and that this fee WILL BE COLLECTED AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM They were collecting between $204 and $250 biweekly from my bank account for over two months. In that time they had only managed to get ONE credit company to come to an agreement. I continued to monitor their progress while they continued deducting money from my bank account. One day I got on the app to check their progress and noticed that all but a few dollars of my money invested in the program was gone. THEY TOOK THE MONEY THAT THEY WERE SAVING to resolve my debt. I called them immediately. A agent and a supervisor tried to explain to me that they were collecting their fee and went on to tell me that it was in the contract. I tried to explain what I was told on day one from more than one agent that A SMALL FEE AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM WOULD BE COLLECTED . While Im sure it is in their contract I feel that I was manipulated and lied to by some fast talking people that know the contract but are TRAINED to lie to the consumer. And for the record that small fee is 25% of the total debt. No small fee from where Im standing. They didnt deny telling me the things they did. How hard would it had to be honest up front? Im now over two months behind on all my credit cards and worse off than before.

      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."


      Review of your program has confirmed that all fees have been earned within the established expectations.  Beyond Finance does not take up front fees and only earns fees after the criteria have been met.  Review of your enrollment interaction confirmed this is in alignment with the information provided to you.

      While I know the wording of the contract, thats not the point of the complaint. And while nothing about the way Beyond Finance conducts their business will probably change, the main reason for the complaint is that their sales pitch is misleading to consumers by having their sales team to pitch words that lure the struggling person into the program. 

      At no point during the process did the agent mention an amount of their fee. It was relayed as a small fee nor was it mentioned that the fee would be collected during the negotiation process. Instead the agent insisted that the fee was included in the total amount of the consumers total debt and would be collected at the end of the program. This in itself is false advertising. 

      When I enlisted in the program I was not behind on any of my debt payments. But after trusting the words of the agents I spoke with, I managed to get two months behind on several accounts that included late fees and interest payments. This is mostly the bases of my complaint, the lies. 

      I feel that Beyond Finance should give that consumer the words up front that are buried deep within the contract so that the consumer have a honest chance to make a decision instead of finding out what they are getting into. I just think the methods are dishonest.
