      On 1/25/25 , I started a personal training program at crunch fitness garden grove. This pst Sunday , 1/23/25 I received news which affects our income , so I contacted Crunch via email (management) to ask about cancelling my plan , they told me I can also freeze my plan , I agreed and they still charged me for the month , this has now affected my ability to pay rent we are losing our place , I contacted via email and telephone a couple times now regarding that and I was told let me get back to you its been days and even calling I was told by one manager they will not refund my money even though Im not going to be able to use the training anymore , was told by one employee also that they can refund and now I am being avoided still I emailed again just requesting to cancel and still no answer it feels very predatory how they do these things to avoid me so they can continue charging after asking to cancel .

      We are sorry to hear of this members concerns.  The member did not provide enough time to stop the payment, but we have decided to issue a refund for this payment, and allow the member to freeze her PT agreement for the month.  We do expect this member to fulfill the agreement terms once the freeze period is completed.

      At around august, I signed up for an all pass membership in Fountain Valley. After moving to ************, I went to a nearby location and was told my all pass was not valid because I hadnt signed up at a platinum location or some nonsense. I asked if it cost more, and I was told no, its just about what location I signed at. I told the rep that I paid extra for my membership because I was told I had access to all gyms and I was effectively enticed to pay additional for a membership under false pretenses. I demanded she cancel my membership immediately. In an attempt to prevent cancellation, she told me I had to drive 30 miles to the fountain Valley location to cancel in person. I told her that tactic was extremely unethical and she needed to cancel my membership immediately. A month or so later, I received an email that my membership was overdue ************************************************* full upon time of cancellation. I sent an email, to which they responded they had no record of my cancellation and I needed to cancel via email and pay my 30 dollars. I said I wanted my membership cancelled immediately and I was not going to pay for their clerical error. As of today they have charged me 30 dollars a month since, have not cancelled my membership and so much as returned a phone call as promised. I am on a month to month plan and not under contract. This is the shadiness tactic I have ever encountered at a gym and I will make sure every person I know understands exactly how this business operates.

      We had our manager in San Clemente contact this member today, and I understand the concerns have been resolved.  The membership is now cancelled and all past-due balances have been removed.
