    in my personal opinion this company & specifically the owner ***************************** are unethical. My *** used this vendor & worked directly w ********. He stated that my 30 year old exterior siding was "serviceable" despite 6 other contractors attesting that it had "failed". Water was literally coming into our home in so many places yet he stated it was "serviceable". He literally only removed the siding (which then sat out in the pouring rain for multiple weeks), put up new moisture barrier, & then actually rehung the old "failed" pieces of siding again. I reported him to the Contractor's ******************* (CSLB) but my *** is responsible for the exterior of our ***************** had final say & supported his work in my opinion bc it saved them thousands of dollars by not having to replace the siding with a much better product called cement board (which actually other homes in our community in similar situation were able to have put on their homes b/c the contractor's the *** used at that time recommended it be fully replaced). The contract he signed with our *** he specifically included language stating "CCC shall be indemnified, defended, and held harmless at no cost to CCC by .... *** for any and all past, present, or future actions, or services performed in relation to water intrusion, or restoration services in or around unit #...." Does this language sound like he stands behind his statement that the siding was "serviceable"? To me it sounds like someone protecting themselves from what they believe will be faulty work.He was also negligent in obtaining permits prior to the start of work for deck repairs throughout our community & only did so once I reported him to the *********** required it of him. however he purposefully & deceptively only applied for permits for 6 properties not yet completed & made no mention of the other estimated 20 properties that he already finished without permits. This all appears extremely unethical in my opinion.
