    I had purchased 3 books for $38.26 on 11/24/22. On 12/24/22, WITHOUT my authorization another $104.65 was taken out of my account. I did not authorize this. I did not get any notification in regards to this. An absolute scam which is so hard especially when money is tight around the Holidays. Do not order from this company. After reading all the very similar complaints its obviously a scam. I will never order from again and want a refund immediately.

    We are offering every customer a one-month free trial to try out our online digital library. You can decide if you want to try it before checkout. Once the order is registered, an order confirmation email is sent which gives the complete details of all the items purchased and a separate email is sent with login instructions and how to access the account. But you can always cancel your subscription through our help center yourself anytime. 

    We always try to support our customers with any issues they face. So we have now canceled your subscription and you will not face recurring charges for it. Also, a refund for this product has been issued.

    A transaction was made on my account for $97. That i didnt make . I sent it to the fraud division of my credit card . I want it taken off and I dont want any more books . The transaction was made today and I didnt authorize or purchase anything this month from PDIC books

Since the subscription was not canceled within the free trial period it got renewed.

    But, please do not worry, your subscription has been canceled and no charges have been levied to your account.

    i bought 3 books. then this month i got a ***** charge. dont know what for, no emails or calls. can"t find a phone number. i dont think this is a very good buisness. tryed email to costomer support, but nothing

    Bought 9 childrens books around end of November. That was all I wanted. Was just billed ****** for something That I never ordered.

We offer free access to it for a month and customers can cancel it at any time. It is not mandatory to take it, during checkout you can decide if you want to try it or not.

    In November I purchased books for my Great grandchildren. Today December 28 there was a charge on my account for *****. I only made the one purchase in November so there should not have been another charge. I would like to have it removed.

    On November 27, 2022 I purchased (3) Christmas books for $54.94 and that is all I wanted. At the bottom of the webpage there was this small checkbox (hard to see) that was already checked-off for another (3) books that I did not want! I only saw this just after I had already clicked the button to complete the transaction and my computer was busy processing. It was too late. I could not go back to remove this extra purchase; and so, I was charged an additional $60.89 (for an unwanted / unbudgeted total of $115.83). I do not want these (3) other books but acknowledged "They got me!" and was going to accept I was scammed and/or deceived by the small print / little checkbox. Christmas comes and goes, and at 2.32AM on the first morning of returning from the holidays (December 27, 2022, I get a text message from my bank saying I was just charged $97.00 from PDIC BOOKS (Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream) for what? A subscription I do not want. This I cannot tolerate, especially from a Children's book publisher. I will accept the additional unwanted hit of $60.89, but please refund my $97.00 immediately, cancel any subscription and do not contact me further concerning future books. Thank you!PS: The only reason I am coming to this website, is because I cannot contact anyone at PDIC to resolve this.

    We are not a scam company and it was not our intention to bill you for a product that you do not wish to purchase or anything likewise. Email notifications are sent to the email associated with the purchase as soon as the order is registered along with the complete details of all the items purchased and the total amount paid. We have a 30-day return policy, so even after an order is placed you can return the books for a complete refund.

    Regarding the charge of $97, we are offering every customer a one-month free trial to try out our online digital library. You can decide if you want to try it before checkout. Customers can cancel their subscriptions at any time through the self-service portal or by contacting our customer support team. Since the subscription was not canceled within the free trial period it got renewed.

    Was charged a fee that was not authorized thought I was buying 3 children books and was charged over ***** for a years subscription. I am returning books and expect a full refund. This is a scam!

    My elderly mother ordered 3 ****s from Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream a month ago. She wanted a Christian **** to give her great grandchildren. The ****s were not great. she was glad she only ordered 3. She was going to buy them for all the families. Then this morning I checked her credit card, and there is a pending charge for $97.00 for something we haven't authorized or ordered. We want our money back and nothing more to do with this company. It breaks my heart that these people pretend to be a *********************** but they are ripping off old people.

    I ordered three books for my granddaughter, they were "cute" but not really what i was looking for. I did answer an e-mail, saying this was a one time purchase. we've had computer issues so if there were other emails we did not receive them.Dec 12th there was a charge to my credit card of $97 I'm not interested in more books so please refund this charge of $97 and do not contact me further concerning future books
