    A transaction was made on my account for $97. That i didnt make . I sent it to the fraud division of my credit card .I tried to call the number for PDIC listed on my statement and it just directed me to their website. The transaction was made on 1/5/2023 and I didn't authorize or purchase anything this month from PDIC books. I did purchase my grandchildren a holiday set of 3 books on 12/5/2022 for $37.70. After reading all of the BBB complaints it appears that Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream Publishers dont adequately disclose their intent to bill you $97 for access to a digital library. It is starting to make sense.No one wants to read to their grandchildren digitally, they want to read to them from a book on the sofa. The digital library has never and will never be used.I request that PDIC refund the $97.00 unauthorized charge, and that they make an effort to properly and adequately disclose their intentions to steer unsuspecting customers into the unwanted digital library.

    I ordered books on Nov 18, 2022. I was charged $58.90 for the books, which did not include a 20% discount I was expecting. I did manage to contact PDIC through email after multiple attempts, and the 20% was credited to my card on Nov 19, 2022. The following month in December, a charge was made to my card for $102.82 that I did not authorize. I feel the charge was made deceptively because a free 30-day subscription trial is offered (which you cannot remove from your cart at checkout), then the charge was made for an annual fee when the website only refers to a monthly fee. And my original book order was made on 11/18/22 and my card was charged automatically with the annual subscription as a pending charge on 12/17/22 - not really 30 days to me. I tried to contact PDIC again to request a refund, but have not been successful.I would like the $102.82 charge removed from my card and my annual access subscription definitively canceled.I recommend avoiding PDIC because, despite the cute name, I feel they prey on grandparents and older folks hoping we do not pay enough attention to our charge card details to realize what they are charging us. And who needs to pay $100.00 a year to have access to their library of books? There are many businesses to purchase books without any subscription and I strongly suggest that you purchase from those businesses.

    I have been charged for books ($97) I did not order and never received. It appears to be a reoccurring charge that I did not authorize or did mistakenly. I ordered a couple of books before Christmas for my grandchildren that were not this expensive. I am elderly and on a fixed income and this business has several other of the same complaint that I can see. I want a refund and no more reoccurring charges.

    I ordered several books from this company on December 4, 2022. However, I DID NOT order the digital download for 4 payments of $103.79! I have stopped the automatic payments and I want the payment of $103.79 on January 4, 2023 refunded to me!

    I ordered 3 children's books for a Christmas present for my godson on 11/27/22. I have no complaints about the books. However, this month my credit card was charged $97 for a digital library which I did not want. The transaction ID is *****************. I went back and checked there website. It looks like they attach a digital library- free 30 day trial to every order. After that it says it's **** a month. So apparently I failed to remove it. So I could live with being charged **** for a month. But I was charged $97. I have contacted them and filed a complaint, asking to be refunded. They have not responded. I now see on their website under the reviews that many others have had the same issue. So maybe they have so many complaints to deal with that they haven't gotten back to me yet. Looks to me that this company has a dishonest business practice going.

    I cancelled this "subscription" after I received 3 little paperback books from. PUPPY dogs and ice cream. Dec. 30 my bank account got hit with ***** ** which is ****** ********. WHAT? ********** purchase PDIC Books ***** USD @1.395876 I "cancelled" subscription yet again and want my money REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY. Hope ***** ************. I expect immediate action on this!     On December 28,2022, my First ************ card was charges $104.66 for a purchase I did not authorize.I had bought three books from this company in November, and they were delivered correctly. I did NOT authorize any other purchase or subscription yet was charged.I notice on your (BBB) web site that several other similar complaints have been filed.
