I lived in ********* for 30 years. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in *********! What happened?? I had their speciality carnitas dinner. It was like eating straw! Dry and flavorless. So sad!! I wont be back.

My name is ******************************* I've been coming to the Old Town Mexican Cafe for well over 20 years. I live 1 mile away on ******* Street. Your restaurant has gone from The Benchmark of service, hospitality, and good food; to an embarrassment with below average food and having the wrong people in the wrong jobs. I'm a retired Navy captain. In my last command I had 240 people work for me as the commanding officer of Naval Air Station ****, the point being I might know something about managing people and Leadership. A group of my friends have been coming to Old Town Mexican Cafe as a weekly dining out experience for over 20 years and here is what we have experienced in the last three to four outings. You have young people that don't have the ability to think, the number in the party to wait to be seated. But they will not put a name next to the number in the group. When asked why not put a name next to the number in the party they said people might jump ahead in line and say oh I was **** party of 4. I offer the industry standard practice of take the first name and the first three letters of the last name which offers accountability where your list makes absolutely no sense at all. There were 5 party of 4 with no names. Your party number takers (often different people 5 mins apart) constantly walk through the line several times asking the same question are you the party if 4 because there is no way to identify you. My family owns the ******************** in ********* if you are interested in a field trip. Trust me if anyone that owns your restaurant would come out and watch this Fiasco you would immediately change that policy. Ask yourself why would every other restaurant in the world take some names with the waiting party number.? Once again your restaurant was famous for offering your chunky salsa and your roasted red pepper salsa with now you're below average chips that are store bought. Go across the street to ****** and their chips are
