    I purchased the $1 Background Check report on 10/18/2024. However, instead of the one time purchase, this business repurposed this purchase as a trial subscription with an intention to hide the information in very obscure place. I was then charged $32.54 on 11/27 and 10/26. The business never sent out any invoice for the following charges so it didn't catch my attention until the second charge. Beware of such scam.

    I was accidentally charged twice so I reached out to customer service via email. I kept getting the runaround so I finally called them. I told them I was charged twice. She said that on my account did not reflect this. I asked to speak to a manager to address the issue. I was not transferred to a manager to address the issue, I have proof that I was charged twice.

    I have sent previous notice to the party that operates www.truthfinder.com requesting deletion of all personal record, from all of their systems, including that of which I am not aware. However, on November 15, 2024, an affiliate website ******************************** that links to www.truthfinder.com still displays personal information. The party that received deletion notice is still processing personal data through the following:********************************************************************* ************************************************************************* ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************* ************************************************************************ I would like this party to destroy all personal record from all of their systems, including that of which I am not aware. This is more than an opt out request for a single website, it is notice under federal law GDPR (7) 3 consent is being revoked for personal data processing in all systems operated by this party. Additional failure will be brought to a complaint with the ************************ if my request is not honored. Attached is deletion notice requesting destruction of record in the systems noted above and additional systems owned or operated by this party.

This page is accessible from the link found in the footer of the TruthFinder website.The free and automated tool allows any individual to remove their information from appearing on TruthFinder, its affiliates, and its sister public record search websites owned and operated by ******************* We have suppressed the public record data associated with ********** and his report will no longer be accessible. This request will be applied to the public record data displayed on all people search sites owned and operated by ******************. Keep in mind that suppression of this data on the TruthFinder website will not affect whether the information may be available from other public record sources, including third-party sources of the information. 
    We are unable to assist Mr. ******* in suppressing the public record data of any other individuals other than himself. However, they can suppress their data by visiting the ************** referenced above. In accordance with applicable U.S. law, these individuals will be required to provide and validate some identifying information in order to suppress their public records. If they are unable to validate their information through the suppression tool, the tool will prompt the individuals to contact Customer Support, who will then attempt to manually validate the individual's identity. The information that an individual provides is necessary to facilitate the suppression of their public data and is not sold, shared, or otherwise used.     I am writing to request your assistance in addressing a serious privacy concern involving Truthfinder, a registered data broker operating in **********. Despite multiple requests (emails starting on October 31st 2024 and continuing to the present) and notifications of safety concerns, Truthfinder has repeatedly failed to remove my personal information from their databases and continues to sell it.Key points:1. My husband and I were recently granted a temporary restraining order due to safety concerns for ourselves and our family.2. I have notified Truthfinder of these safety concerns and requested complete removal of my personal information.3. The company has only directed me to use their "Suppression Tool," which has proven ineffective in removing my data. They also requested I send them a government identification, which I believe is an illegal request. This would surely further compromise my safety and privacy.4. My personal information continues to appear on their site and is being sold to third parties, potentially endangering my safety and that of my family.Under California's Data Broker Registration law and the recently enacted Delete Act (SB 362), data brokers are required to honor deletion requests and take appropriate measures to protect consumers' privacy. Truthfinder's actions appear to violate these laws, particularly given the safety concerns I have raised.

    We were able to locate a background report and validate **** ********* request based on the information provided in their complaint. We will go ahead and suppress the report pursuant to their request and our Terms*.

    Furthermore, it is advisable to clear the cache on the device was used to perform the search. If **** ******* is still seeing her information displayed even after clearing her cache, she should reach out to our cusotomer support and provide a screenshot along with the *** of the information.

    Truthfinder offered me seven days of their services for $1. I cancelled before the seven days were up. They have since been charging me $28.33 per month without my consent and with my instructions to cancel. The dates I was charged is following. Each charge was $28.33 in 2024.May 26 June 27 July 28 August 28 September 24.October 30 Todays charge was declined because I asked for a new credit card number. I also received a new number two months ago but they began charging my new number, again, without my consent. I call this fraud.
